The lady on the phone was rude AF!! They claim they was too busy to release my car to me. So they kept it for 5 days and charged me for storage fees!! I get there and they couldn't even find my key!! Unfortunately my vehicle was towed because of repoe, shouldve payed the pymt, i understand that. I finally get caught up in that department. Get my vehicle back and my center console has been ransacked and gone thru, now my wallet is missing.. Why cant these people just leave personal property alone. Ive seen other reviews on here saying personal property was stolen.. Im calling Leo, how dare you CC Recovery in Abilene Tx @ S4th and Willow... oh yea I know where your at now! They repo'd my car and damaged the under carriage. I tried to call the office to retrieve my personal property and was on hold for over 30 minutes. Then has to call again and was told to schedule an appointment to get my stuff. The woman who I spoke to was rude and unprofessional. I can see why they have less than 2 stars read more

My family had the similar experience as others listed here on YELP. The car was towed and while in C & C Towing & Recovery's possession, first it was very difficult to get anyone to answer a phone call, and the appointment that was scheduled was changed by the company without explanation. AND, all personal items were stolen from inside the car once in the possession of C & C. Sadly, you don't get a choice in who comes to take a car, but it doesn't mean they should be allowed to steal from others. read more

They are thieves and like to kick people when they are down. They lie and act like they need 24hrs to "inventory" but then tell you they did not go through it because it was locked. Yet it is obvious things were gone through when things are not in the place you left them. if they cancel your appointment call the constable of PRCT 1 and let him know. When you get your car back if things like cash, tools, cards, anything is missing call the sheriff and file charges even for the small things. Just because life got you for a minute does not mean you deserve this treatment. read more

They repoed my daghter's car. After she payed her payments to get the car back. C&C kept it another 2 weeks. She put in a appointment to get it back and she heard nothing for over a week. They finally approved her appointment but no one was available to take her to get the car. So she rescheduled it for Friday. She got a text saying they denied the appointment. No explanation or anything. So I called them Today which is Monday. They are trying to tell me that GM didn't send the release until today. So I had my daughter call GM. They sent the release on the 10th. Today is the 28th. That 11 business days. And if that was the case why would they approve it the first time. I tried calling them back and I get no answer. All my daughter's husbands work tools and wallet is in there. And from the other reviews I have been reading it looks like they take stuff out of the cars. All I have to say is there stuff better be there. These people are crooks read more

i. unfortunatelyhad to use the towing part of their business. After the ladies up front were extremely rude, they had me drive 2.5 hours to them and my car wasn't even there. The lady at front tried to Lie about how she "helped me". I finally get to my car and their tow driver had helped himself to the cash left in my wallet. I am leaving this comment to make people aware of this company's poor behavior and communication. On November 21, 2023, I was driving to work the same route I do every day. I noticed that there were not many vehicles on the road, possibly due to the upcoming holiday. I stayed in the slow lane when it was double lanes for passing, did the speed limit, and not once did my take a break icon show up on the car's dash. I glanced up in my rear-view mirror when the speed limit started to gradually decrease, and up ahead, I noticed the school zone light on, even though school was out, and noticed a red truck riding my bumper. I slowed down to the school limit and noticed that the red truck slowed down as well and was not on my bumper. I then pulled into the gas station to get gas and the red truck, which was a repo truck from a tow company, pulled in front of my car. The gentleman begins yelling that he should report me for my bad driving. I then said I do not know what you are talking about, and he began screaming at me saying yes you f***ing do and drove off. The person next to me pumping gas was in the same amount of shock I was in regarding what just happened and stated he should be reported for the way he just spoke to you. I turned around and noticed that the truck was from a towing company in Stephenville. I then called the non-emergent 9-1-1 number and was told it is not against the law what that person did but was highly advised to call the company and get on social media and blast the company. I did call the company and spoke to the manager explaining the situation and making it clear that I really had no clue what I did to set him off and wished he would've spoken to me calmly and this situation would have been resolved. I wanted to know what caused this person to think I am a bad driver so I could have fixed it. She seemed apologetic and emphatic and said she would speak to that person and call me right back. I was very hesitant and made it clear to the manager that I did not want to give my name or number in fear of retaliation, and she assured me that only she would have the information and wanted to call me back. It has now been over a week, and I have not heard anything from her and know that I will not. I have read previous reviews on google and yelp and have seen a common thread regarding unruly behavior and poor communication. read more

CROOKS!!!!!! Towed from an apartment complex by campus. Took over 3 hours to get in contact with anyone from this company. Mail box full and proper address was not posted properly. Employee was just a total a$$hole !!!! Will be looking into the states rules for towing company to file a complaint with the state. read more

Trust the reviews. These are some of the rudest people I've ever dealt with and their customer service is basically non existent. If you can get someone to answer the phone you only get one worded responses and then they will hang up on you. I would contact any other towing company in the area before reaching out to this one. read more

The female "manager" was extremely rude and they told me there was a 24 hour hold to do "inventory" and I had to have an appointment which they had very limited availability. They didn't have to be unreasonable but they chose to be. ironically when I showed up at my appointment time that "inventory" had not been done and the guy cleaned my car out as we sat and waited. I believe they kept my James Avery Necklace as well that was in my car, I specifically asked them about it and of course it was not found. The older woman I had gotten into an argument Over the phone with made it clear while I was there that she was talking about me. This is a small mom and pop business and the women are rude and unprofessional. No compassion, dishonest thieves. read more

I put reliable because you can guarantee they will tow your car and you can guarantee that you will get your car back for a $220 fee. The main problem I had with them is there is almost no accurate information on them for address or phone number and it was a 4 hour hunt to find them. They will not answer there phones. If you ever need to find this place you will have a better chance of finding your car by looking up 281 truck sales. They are a company that share the same space. If you call that company just tell them your trying to find your towed car. read more

This company picked up my truck. When i went and got it back there were scratches up and down both sides, my jack and tire tools, jumper cables, and a set of wrenches were all missing. The truck had a full tank of gas when they picked it up and was empty when i got it back less than a week later. They're not supposed to drive the vehicles, but there were two guys in the tow truck. After they hooked up my pick up to their tow truck they unhooked it and said they couldn't get it on the truck, and then one of them drove it away. When i called them to ask about the missing items and the scratches on the side of the truck, the lady was rude and belligerent and said she was going to have the owner call me back. Of course I haven't heard from them since. This company is dishonest and apparently run by criminals. read more

This company illegally towed my vehicle at an apartment complex i clean at. The tow truck driver was rude and broke the law. When we tried to show the company manager the TDLR law showing we shouldn't have been towed she lied saying it was optional. We have family in the industry. I'll be filling my TDLR complaint and taking it to court to be compensated for the towing cost and loss of work. Don't bother with these people! read more

When they repoed my car. They collected everything out of it which I thought was nice I figured we'd have to go get everything. Well when doing so. They went through bags that were closed . I had just picked my brother in law up from the air port and we stopped to visit a friend before heading home. All his stuff was in a suit case. They took stuff out of suitcases and just through them in the trash bag with the rest of our stuff instead of putting hem back in the bag it was in to keep it safe. They took over $10 in quarters that my sister had in a coin bag in her back pack they also took a half bottle of body spray out of her bag . I had a rear view mirror ornament that was an elephant. It was given to me when my baby passed away. I got the necklaces that were hanging with it but not the elephant. I wasn't able to fully go through everything until I got home. They were closed by that time. read more
