To abide by the law when dealing with customers is a priority. This is an understandable situation. To treat a customer like a low life is not good business! If there are issues that cause the business to take concern then express this to the public prior to them entering the establishment. I will no longer be buying anything from this store and if asked I will gladly express my discontent. In the future, this place would do well to treat their community members with some increased respect!!!

I live over in the Hudson valley, Westchester County specifically, a more expensive cost of living environment, and 90% of the liquor I purchased here would have been cheaper at home. The staff were very friendly and nice. But their selection is very limited for a place that calls itself "liquor Depot". As far as I could tell they do not carry ultra premiums at all, such as very top shelf gins or any type of craft spirit. Their wine selection seems decent but nothing special, including the prices. One thing that I can say is that I found a MAG of Tito's vodka for a dollar cheaper a bottle elsewhere in Oneonta -- so shop around people!

They can get their hands on some truly obscure and hard to find beers... even carrying all six of the Trappist beers. One whole wall is devoted to imports including some of my favorite German brews, as well as a large variety of lembic beers from Belgium. Amazingly, they carry kegs and cases of many of these. They even have a selection of specialty and rare brews including special Oktoberfest offerings and Lenten brews. They carry all of the local breweries and they have a nice selection of the smaller breweries nationwide. They do carry the standard american crap... er... favorites... but you have to look for them. This being Binghamton, I am a little shocked to hear that this is a unique store, but friends of mine have come back to the area just to go to Sams. My buddy is bringing his new wife from the Seattle area who just can't imagine such a store existing. I took my brother-in-law from D.C. recently and he practically fell to his knees. If you are local... be thankful for what you have... there are many others less fortunate than you. If you are from out of town. One of the best hidden gems in the area! The food trucks rotate weekly, as do the beers and ciders. A chill hangout perfect for summer nights. Some kayakers came and went. A bachelorette party showed up toward the end of the night. We had some good laughs and tasty beverages - I had hard ciders and seltzers. On our visit, Jam's food truck was there. I ordered the grilled chicken, bacon, spinach, roasted red pepper, caramelized onion triple decker but on a wrap with broccoli salad. Tasty and fresh. Check the brewery instagram page for the truck schedule - there are even local favorites including Ty's Tacoria and Tulip and Rose as well as a bbq truck and more. You can also BYO snacks or buy something small inside the bar.

The service was friendly, the environment was clean and welcoming, and I left with a great impression of Awestruck Ciders. Unfortunately, my visit last weekend was a huge disappointment. The service was extremely slow, and the bartenders came across as dismissive and uninterested. They also didn't seem nearly as knowledgeable about the ciders or what they were serving. The overall environment was noticeably dirty and poorly maintained. Sitting in the bus honestly felt like sitting in a trash can, which made it difficult to enjoy the experience. The parking situation also needs attention. There are no clearly marked parking lines, and the entrance/exit has some very large potholes that make getting in and out feel hazardous. As for the ciders themselves, I was disappointed there as well. They all seemed to taste very similar, and I didn't notice much distinction between the different flavors. It's unfortunate because my first experience was so positive that I was excited to come back. Unfortunately, the difference between the two visits was significant, and based on my most recent experience, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.
