I asked him some questions about the work I was planning on doing for the house I just bought, and he was able to get me an initial quote really quickly. Attached to the quote was all of New Roof's social media, insurance, and license information which was really nice. The price I paid vs the price I was quoted was about 15% different, but I chose to have 700$ of custom apron flashing added and was warned of the cost associated with some repairs that needed to be done underneath the actual shingles before hand. Alex was very quick to get back to me and very respectful to my home (taking off his shoes, making sure my dogs could use the bathroom while the roof was being repaired, etc). We were well warned about what the process of getting the roof replaced would be: the noise, the debris from the roof, the time it could take, etc. The best part of the process was that they were actually able to fix a major moisture issue in the roof I was unaware of, and my house smells a lot better now :). The crew that came to work on the house were great - I didn't personally talk to anyone but it was clear they were working hard and they cleaned up the yard very well. I got pictures of my roof before, during, and after. I asked a bunch of questions along the way and Alex was very responsive and answered all of them. I got about half a dozen quotes for my roof before I made a decision - New Roof was on the lower side of the quotes I got, they did not charge me a steep fee which was great (2 other quotes I got included one and the fee wasn't cheap), and I really appreciated how quick Alex was to respond to my messages and that I never felt "sold" during this process. My roof wasn't easy, the house was built in 1979 and had a roof that was previously done poorly installed and I think they did a great job replacing it and fixing the issues that were a result of the previous work. My husband attempted to find the leak when looking at the pipes in the attic, cutting out part of the wall in the laundry room to make sure no pipes behind the washer/dryer were having issues, but eventually came to the conclusion that it could potentially be rain coming into the dryer vent which is on our roof - so if we had an extremely hard rain that came in a crazy angle, our wall was getting wet. It was overkill and unnecessary. All-Tite came and looked at my roof and was absolutely positive they could do the repair I needed even though it was double shingled! They also quoted me a price that was much much less than the other companies. Things went downhill fast from there. We spent 3 weeks trying to get in touch with them just to get the estimate. After nearly a dozen phone calls with their extremely unhelpful and useless receptionist, Laura, who appears to hate her job and never followed up as promised, they finally sent an estimate. Of course the estimate was more than $2000 more than what the guy told us in person it would be when he came out. If they are this bad before they've even taken money for services, I can only imagine how bad the actual service must be.

After getting blown off by another roofing company 2 times, I looked to YELP to get someone out to…read morelook at a failing soffit/fascia area next to my gutters. I called and Alex picked up immediately. Very polite on the phone and booked an appointment with him in two days. Alex arrived early, did a walk around the entire house, told me there were 2 additional areas that needed repair, he walked me outside and showed me the areas. I was sort of sick about additional areas that needed to be replaced but frankly I could see it and of course I didn't want rain water entering the house so I appreciated his keen eye on my issues. I also had a xeriscape rain barrel that I wanted hooked up to a downspout. This was done Tuesday (excellent job and added height to it to allow for better flow, innovative!) and today Thursday the main work was done and in a tidy manner and it looks great. Alex went up on the roof the first visit and took numerous pictures, diagnosed nails and missing shingles. This was awesome to show my husband all the pictures (roof is about 30 feet high and peaked so we cannot access).
