I went into the Cal Ranch other day with my 11 month old son and was carrying him in his car seat. A gentleman leaving the store hit the handicapped button for the doors to open itself as he could see I had my hands full which was super nice. As I entered a lady working there greeted me with a smile and asked if I'd like a shopping cart. I relied yes please and she showed me where they were. I put my son in the cart and we browsed the store. We entered a narrow aisle and the cart started to pull one of the racks that was on wheels (this was the second time I did it and you'd think I'd be aware but I forgot) and a male employee helped me out and moved the rack so I could squeeze by. I apologized for messing up their stuff and he said don't worry about it and acknowledge that it was a narrow aisle and it happens sometimes. Long story short everyone was so nice!! I like shopping local and the experience that I had here was great. Even if my baby was fussing in the store. Lol. This is now one of my favorite places to shop! read more

So during a transaction at the Blackfoot store their computers froze up. Manager called headquarters and assured me that I had not actually been charged, so I repaid however the total amount was not authorized again which means that the transaction did go through SO the manager said oh it will be back in your account in three days. My husband paid the remaining amount with his debit card from another account. SO I was suspicious so I went out of my car and saw that in fact the funds had been authorized twice and they were NOT pending transactions they were completed purchases with my debit card, HOWEVER on the second transaction my husband had to use our other account card to pay the remaining balance because the full amount was not authorized the second time I paid. I came back in the manager looked up the transaction and I could see that they showed only having received the money once, so in good faith I said I would leave it alone and wait the three days, after the more than three days I went back and was told there was nothing they could do for me that they had only received the money once. SO I called their headquarters and had to talk with the accounting offices who over the phone did not understand. After sending screenshots they still were insisting there was nothing they could do for me. Finally they acknowledged it was their credit card processing company that had double dipped into my account and that they would get some answers and call me back NO call. So I called Tuesday November 7th , The lady in accounting again assured me she would get answers and in fact did call me back and say that the credit card processing company did find my money and had put a rush on it and I would have my money back in three days. Waiting until the following Tuesday NO MONEY in my account. We played phone tag, got a voicemail saying it would be another 7-10 days. NO way, so I went above them got an authorization for a refund if I brought my bank statements into my local Cal-ranch which I did. And lo and behold I had to explain the whole thing over again after being assured I would not have to. SO here is the math: First transaction $194.33 Computer froze Manager says pay again it did'n't really go through Second payment was only authorized for 4131.03 hmm weird because if the money had not actually come out it would have authorized the full $194.33 but it was not. My husband paid the remaining balance of $67.30 from his account. First transaction when computer froze was $194.33 in one whole amount. Second transaction was the following: 131.03 +63.30= $194.33 (Second transaction) So in total I Paid $388.66 for $194.33 worth of products. On the night my money was finally refunded 11/14/17 the local employees treated me like a thief. I left all of my contact information and a promise note that if the money were to be refunded to my account I would return it to Cal-ranch immediately. Regardless they still acted as if they were giving me money that didn't belong to me, which they were not. If it were a small amount of money I would not made a fuss and just not shopped there again, but my goodness whatever happened to customer service. I am giving two stars because the gentlemen I spoke with at headquarters who finally got the refund authorized through a regional manager was a true gentleman he was respectful and was kind to me unlike everyone who acted as if I was trying to dupe them. So moral of the story pay cash and only pay once. read more
