In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.

Our last day in Cancun and we wanted to go back hoping to order more al pastor but since we came too early it wasn't ready yet. If you're wanting to try it, I would say aim for a later time! Turned out it has the best chips and salsa appetizer. The different kinds of salsa were served in small tin 'buckets on a round tray with the spicy chips in the middle. The owner or the manager of this restaurant was very very nice. The waiter was also very patient and very kind. The foods were superb, I ordered vegetarian queso with mushroom (quesabrosa vegetariana). My husband ordered 3 types of meats that he couldn't finish, so we brought it to hotel.
