I was not interested since my son's tooth had already been fixed in a different practice. Then she offered a refund of 50% of my initial visit. She did explain that the way they scheduled me only had a consultation (which I still believe is way overpriced), so please MAKE SURE when you are scheduling your visit, you know what you are getting, in order to avoid frustration.

My family has provided Dr Stein with several patients for the last two decades. However, once…read moretreatment is over, the care stops. Our "permanent" retainers were supposed to be maintained for life- but we were told to pay $300 to repair broken ones. These retainers do wear out over time- they break, they loosen from the bonding. No promises were ever kept. Because we had already given him so many patients he offered a discount on the last patient (he refused to put this down in writing, surprise surprise). But of course, when it came time to pay, he began to back pedal... until one of the staff members told him she had witnessed him make that promise. We've since had the permanent retainers removed by our dentist and had Invisalign retainers made. The permanent retainers made cleaning very, very difficult. Patients beware. This orthodontist only cares about money, not people.

Had an eye opening disgusting, deplorable and racist experience at Dr. Stein's office today. I…read moreseriously doubt they treat all their patients this way. At first I just wrote off Donna (staff member) to being cranky and rude but afterwards I realized the real problem. I guess I'm naive being that I just moved here from NYC where Jews and blacks co-exist nowadays with very little problem. This small town of Lansdale doesn't have alot of blacks and Donna told me in no certain terms that she did not want my business and handed me my son's files and teeth modelings that our orthodontist from NYC had forwarded to her. Unbelievable. I'm the last person to play the race card but this place is not a place that has lots of black patients (nor do they want our business) because she rudely showed me the door today when I arrived at their office and told me to find another orthodontist. Do not do business with these racist jews!

When you ask them questions they'll just act as if they don't hear you or too good to respond and allow one of the techs to help you (when they should be able to answer all questions I mean they are suppose to be well education on this) Basically they need to go they have no social skills what so ever. This is like the thousandth time this happened and when I asked for Kellyn number or email they said she doesn't have one for us. Yea bullshit I'm Happy I got my braces off Friday and won't have to come back.

I didn't want to get invasalign due to the expense and the frustration of having to deal with trays that I was skeptical that I would use. I decided to try Dr. Cassalia's Wirelign technique and my teeth are almost fully straightened and it has only been a couple of months! My dentist, a reputable dentist in center city philadelphia, was amazed by the results. I am pleased to recommend this practice and technique to anyone that is considering it. I really appreciate everything about this office. The communication, attention to detail, bedside…read moremanner, and efficiency at the front desk are all top notch. I've never had hygienists like they do here--they're all overly-versed on all things dental-hygiene related. You can tell that they love their jobs and are treated well. It also happens that their dental relations (oral surgery, etc) are also chosen with great care. (One I worked with before discovering this office, another they sent me to where I had a very easy time with a sinus lift and bone graft for a future implant). While my care plan and journey is pretty straight forward, my husband has an insane and complex dental journey ahead. If I call about whatever he should get done next, I'm confident that they'll help me get him in the chair and help him go forward with the rest of his checklist. Making a care plan here is easy breezy like Sunday morning. They will have you confident and sorted with your dental priorities and insurance. I already drive about 25 minutes to get to the Lansdale location, but if they moved, I'd just buckle up for a longer commute. The last time I was there, I noticed that Dr. Kaffey had a plaque near the front desk regarding his time as president to a regional dental association. Definitely something that wasn't surprising. The work done and leadership here is pretty stellar.
