I then showed her my insurance print out and told her that i cannot pay more than what was advertised. She then went back in her office and came out with the numbers corrected to reflect the amount from my insurance doctors finder page and i asked her if she was sure that this was all that I would pay. She assured me that that was all. After paying $700 down and $150 a month for 12 months for a total of $2,538 plus another $1000 from my insurance for a total of $3,538 as agreed, they are now billing me for an additional $1451 saying that my insurance should've paid more. Trying to get me to take this up with my insurance company when She knew from the beginning that my insurance was only paying $1000. I showed her the documentation. This is a total scam and now i have to get a lawyer smh. I am pissed and I do not recommend this place at all. I don't even know if the braces worked or not.

Dr. Markowitz oversaw 95% of Amaya's needs, allow me to give the disclaimer that although the process was prolonged it was at no fault of Blue Bell Orthodontics. Lets just say my daughter probably created ALOT of frustrations for the staff however the staff both the front office & techs were always pleasant. Wendy in the front office was my absolute FAVORITE she is always accommodating with cancellations, scheduling & payments. For a period of time about 7 years ago I was unable to make regular payments I was in between jobs & wasn't receiving support from my daughters father which was what I used to pay the monthly payment. I paid out of pocket on a interest free payment plan offered by the office which was reasonable. However at the time as a single parent my pride wouldn't allow me to disclose the financial challenges I was experiencing. Although I continued to make payments when possible they were inconsistent for about 6-8 months. Amaya's care was never interrupted by the office itself. They always saw her when I didn't cancel the appointments. When I did contact Wendy explaining what was happening financially she was very gracious & understanding explaining that I had no reason to be embarrassed and that I could catch up on the payments once my financial situation improved. Wen Dr. Markowitz first gave an evaluation he anticipated her treatments to be very involved appliances, night guards a mothers nightmare. However after her expander treatment was completed. She was reassessed and Dr. Markowitz determined that she didn't need the original recommendation which saved me a significant amount of $$$. I truly appreciated this, I feel that other practitoners may not have been so honest. WE had an A+ experience with Blue Bell Orthodontics. At the end of our experience another Dr. joined the practice & although I only had 1 face to face experience with her when my daughter was demanded her braces be removed prior to her 18th birthday/ senior pictures. Dr. Wulc was poised thorough and didn't give my daughter tantrums any energy. She explained the risk & helped us to determine the my investment wasn't worth the risk.
