Professionals over the decades felt I had advanced as far as possible. Fast forward 47 + years enter Dr Bender. She is most extraordinary though it is what I would want our medical team members to model. She is tough yet thorough. Thrilled I finally am getting attention my TBI needs. Honestly I feel a difference and this is mid Nov 2025 first visit. She wants me in sooner. I return every other month for check up. She deserves 10 gold stars I can give her 10 here

Dr. Bender literally goes through your ENTIRE medical history. Diet, labs, medications... everything. Took awhile to get an appointment (as a new patient) but I now understand why (they take the time to request all your records and then actually read them?!) and she is SO worth the wait. I've never had an appointment where my list of issues and questions were so completely and throughly answered. Printouts... homework and goals set. Very nice, clean and organized office. Frank, (the office manager/medical assistant when needed) was a pleasure to speak/work with. I think I'm still a little in shock over my appointment. Seriously. It was that amazing.

Dr. James SAVED MY WIFES LIFE! After noticing something…read moreabnormal Dr. James sent my wife in for some imaging followed by a biopsy appointment. Biopsy attempt was unsuccessful and the Dr. there sent her home with a "Its probably nothing. Come back in 6 months "diagnosis. My wife and Dr. James weren't comfortable with that long of a wait and Dr. James started her off on a fast paced team of surgeons and oncologist that quickly found a tumor the size of a lime and soon after a successful biopsy she was diagnosed with Grade3/Stage3/Triple Neg Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. My wife and I have a battle to fight, however, without Dr. Patricia James's care for patients and dedication to her craft, her diagnosis would have been 6 months later with a much worse diagnosis. I would also add that Dr.James's bedside manner at each of my wifes hospital stays that like clockwork I knew Dr. James would be in at some point and actually sit with us and answer ALL my questions. the comfort of knowing she is a big part of my wife medical team, Note for Dr. James I think any of your patients that read some of what others have her understand that we live in a society today where there are just some folks that need to complain behind a keypad and computer screen while for my wife and I I see them as as a blessing. Without them, there is that much more of your time for us and the ones that need you. *** If you read this review this far know this, Dr. James is not the doctor type we are familiar with. She is not the overbooked, corporate, 6 minute assessment and send you home with a new pill Doctor. She truly cares and you know it when you sit and talk with her. Thanks Doc

Overly aggressive, unprofessional and don't expect help from her with any sort of compassion at all. I would love to continue seeing Miss Kelly, but having to deal with Michelle and her attitude is enough to make me search for a primary care doctor elsewhere. Definitely disappointing.

We have even moved our adult children over to her. Combined with the 365 program, we feel as though we are receiving true concierge care. My 90+ year-old parents had expensive concierge care, and the care and attention that we receive from Dr. De La Pena is just as good, From the routine to crisis care, the attention and quality of care are outstanding. One example. I was regularly seeing two different podiatrists for problematic feet. I called Dr. De La Pena to complain about pain in my foot. She had me come in THE SAME DAY and helped pave the path to surgery that I ended up having two weeks later. Without her immediate care, I literally would have lost a foot. That was just one example of many. Great Doc!

From start to finish, my experience exceeded expectations. Check-in was immediate and friendly, and the wait time was minimal. While I've seen some reviews mention a lack of eye contact or focus on the computer, my experience was the complete opposite. Dr. Yao spent an enormous amount of time getting to know my medical history, asking thoughtful questions--more than any physician I've seen before--and carefully documenting everything so it's accessible for other providers. She couldn't have been more knowledgeable, personable, or caring. Together, we created an actionable plan to optimize my health, and she immediately provided referrals to additional specialists to put that plan into motion. I also appreciate that she makes herself accessible through the patient portal to answer questions and provide follow-up. I left my appointment feeling truly well cared for. Thank you, Dr. Yao!

To be honest, I'm so glad to have made the switch. Firstly, they're all welcoming and seem like a pretty happy bunch. Just in that initial appointment with Dr. Kazi, I had concerns about my health physically and mentally and she addressed both and laid out a plan to assess me for abit, then go from there. Which was perfectly understandable. I walked away feeling heard and not dismissed. She really took into consideration how I felt and what I was going through with my previous Dr. and I appreciated so much. My following check-up, is when the plan became action. From that point it's been an upward motion. I feel like my well being has greatly improved. I also feel a sense of security with Dr. Kazi, where as before I had long given up on voicing my health concerns. I truly am thankful for Dr. Kazi and her team. Dr. Kazi has been a Godsend and they're all so nice and welcoming. I have no problem with Dr. Yao. This is about someone else at the practice. I needed to come in…read moredue to a uti and did not have an appointment. They asked if I would mind seeing a nurse practitioner. I had no problem with that as many nurse practitioners are fabulous. When I got there I was told I would see Mr. Wang, the nurse practitioner. He came into the room and did not even look at me. No greeting or introduction, just a very stern face. He then became absorbed in reading why I was there. He asked about my symptoms and when I tried to fully explain he harshly said "I only want to hear about why you are here". When I tried to explain that sometimes things are related he again loudly said to only talk about the symptoms of the reason that I was there for. I felt like saying I was sorry he was having a bad day but I kept my mouth shut. He was actually very intimidating. To make matters more difficult he has a very strong Chinese accent and it was difficult to understand everything that he said. While there, a medical assistant brought in a copy of my last bone scan. He immediately took it and began studying it although that was not the reason I was there. I had asked to have a copy and they brought it in when I was in the consulting room. He spent most of the time with me looking at the results and telling me how I was at risk. Obviously this was against his rules about talking about anything other than the reason that I was there. I asked him how many of his patients took medicine for osteopoenia. He said they do what he tells them. He wrote a script for a very basic medicine for the reason I was there. When I went to the pharmacy they did not have any. I asked why because it is one of the most common medicines ever and it is unlikely they would not have it. The pharmacy tech said that it was unusual because it was so weak. Most every other physician treating my condition orders the stronger dosage and they rarely get a call to order something less effective. I never take anti biotics as I know they are dangerous. However when I need one, I want a powerful dose to knock out whatever I have. Not one that is weak and will require another trip to the doctor to up the dose. I will continue to see Dr. Yao. I did not have a problem with the staff as so many have commented and Dr Yao seems fine. However I will refuse to ever see Mr. Wang. I think the name speaks for itself. Usually Nurse practitioners call themselves Mary Jones etc. not Mrs. Jones.
