Professionals over the decades felt I had advanced as far as possible. Fast forward 47 + years enter Dr Bender. She is most extraordinary though it is what I would want our medical team members to model. She is tough yet thorough. Thrilled I finally am getting attention my TBI needs. Honestly I feel a difference and this is mid Nov 2025 first visit. She wants me in sooner. I return every other month for check up. She deserves 10 gold stars I can give her 10 here

Dr. Bender literally goes through your ENTIRE medical history. Diet, labs, medications... everything. Took awhile to get an appointment (as a new patient) but I now understand why (they take the time to request all your records and then actually read them?!) and she is SO worth the wait. I've never had an appointment where my list of issues and questions were so completely and throughly answered. Printouts... homework and goals set. Very nice, clean and organized office. Frank, (the office manager/medical assistant when needed) was a pleasure to speak/work with. I think I'm still a little in shock over my appointment. Seriously. It was that amazing.

It is a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Dr De La Peña…read more She has been my Dr for Five years. She is easy to talk to, listens and is an excellent Dr. I have had 2 occasions that required additional testing and referrals to specialists. Dr De La Peña makes those referrals. Those Drs have been excellent. These situations also require yearly follow ups. Dr De La Peña goes through the blood work and lab reports with me. She answers my questions and I have complete confidence in her. Whether it is my regular yearly visits or an unexpected virus she is there for me and that makes all the difference! We have even moved our adult children over to her. Combined with the 365 program, we feel as though we are receiving true concierge care. My 90+ year-old parents had expensive concierge care, and the care and attention that we receive from Dr. De La Pena is just as good, From the routine to crisis care, the attention and quality of care are outstanding. One example. I was regularly seeing two different podiatrists for problematic feet. I called Dr. De La Pena to complain about pain in my foot. She had me come in THE SAME DAY and helped pave the path to surgery that I ended up having two weeks later. Without her immediate care, I literally would have lost a foot. That was just one example of many. Great Doc!

From start to finish, my experience exceeded expectations. Check-in was immediate and friendly, and the wait time was minimal. While I've seen some reviews mention a lack of eye contact or focus on the computer, my experience was the complete opposite. Dr. Yao spent an enormous amount of time getting to know my medical history, asking thoughtful questions--more than any physician I've seen before--and carefully documenting everything so it's accessible for other providers. She couldn't have been more knowledgeable, personable, or caring. Together, we created an actionable plan to optimize my health, and she immediately provided referrals to additional specialists to put that plan into motion. I also appreciate that she makes herself accessible through the patient portal to answer questions and provide follow-up. I left my appointment feeling truly well cared for. Thank you, Dr. Yao!

We moved back to CA for medical care accessibility as Nevada is not superior yet though we had a few excellent people in UMC and a rehab. We got an appointment with Dr. Mahmodian on Wednesday. The clinic is clean and we really appreciated the front desk person checking us in for she gave info we never had. Stephanie the nurse is amazing, gentle and skillful. Dr. Mahmodian did a comprehensive review of my husband's treatment thus far and he examined and prescribed important aggressive treatment with a nutritionist (still on gastric tube feedings due to severe dysphagia), physical, speech and occupational therapy, GI specialist as well as labs and diagnostics. We were assisted by the front desk again with rescheduling and info about resources. If you want an enthusiastic, energetic, youthful physician with a gift for caring about you and solving health issues, check them out. We live in the Sun City 55+ community off Washington so it is very close. Reserved parking for our wheelchair was close and the entire experience was fruitful. I was a registered nurse for 50 years and generally don't praise many medical professionals unless they reach my standards and I am super impressed with the service we received from this team.

They ran no tests and diagnosed me with a thyroid problem. I went to my primary physician only for him to tell me it was strep throat and no way it could be a goiter. Even he thought it was fishy that they diagnosed me like this without tests because my symptoms were not even close to what Eisenhower diagnosed me with. I will never go to this hospital again. They will probably charge over a grand to my insurance as well after giving me this false information without any tests. Just goes to show how stupid even doctors can be. They make you wait forever to get in and then just diagnose you with something random without any tests and set you off on your worrisome way and then charge you over a $1,000. What a scam. DO NOT GO HERE.

I have no problem with Dr. Yao. This is about someone else at the practice. I needed to come in…read moredue to a uti and did not have an appointment. They asked if I would mind seeing a nurse practitioner. I had no problem with that as many nurse practitioners are fabulous. When I got there I was told I would see Mr. Wang, the nurse practitioner. He came into the room and did not even look at me. No greeting or introduction, just a very stern face. He then became absorbed in reading why I was there. He asked about my symptoms and when I tried to fully explain he harshly said "I only want to hear about why you are here". When I tried to explain that sometimes things are related he again loudly said to only talk about the symptoms of the reason that I was there for. I felt like saying I was sorry he was having a bad day but I kept my mouth shut. He was actually very intimidating. To make matters more difficult he has a very strong Chinese accent and it was difficult to understand everything that he said. While there, a medical assistant brought in a copy of my last bone scan. He immediately took it and began studying it although that was not the reason I was there. I had asked to have a copy and they brought it in when I was in the consulting room. He spent most of the time with me looking at the results and telling me how I was at risk. Obviously this was against his rules about talking about anything other than the reason that I was there. I asked him how many of his patients took medicine for osteopoenia. He said they do what he tells them. He wrote a script for a very basic medicine for the reason I was there. When I went to the pharmacy they did not have any. I asked why because it is one of the most common medicines ever and it is unlikely they would not have it. The pharmacy tech said that it was unusual because it was so weak. Most every other physician treating my condition orders the stronger dosage and they rarely get a call to order something less effective. I never take anti biotics as I know they are dangerous. However when I need one, I want a powerful dose to knock out whatever I have. Not one that is weak and will require another trip to the doctor to up the dose. I will continue to see Dr. Yao. I did not have a problem with the staff as so many have commented and Dr Yao seems fine. However I will refuse to ever see Mr. Wang. I think the name speaks for itself. Usually Nurse practitioners call themselves Mary Jones etc. not Mrs. Jones.
