I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care I continue to consistently receive from Dr. Stanley and his outstanding team--especially Paul (NP) and the front desk medical assistants. Whenever I have an appointment with Paul, despite his demanding schedule, he always takes the time to truly listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and clearly explain the next steps for monitoring my health. His attentiveness and professionalism make me feel heard, respected, and an active participant in the quality of care I'm receiving. I also want to commend the front desk staff for making appointment scheduling smooth and accommodating. On several occasions, they've helped me secure earlier appointments when needed. Their prompt attention, courteous manner, and strong commitment to patient care are genuinely valued--and, most importantly, reliably consistent. Additionally, I've experienced excellent follow-up after appointments--whether regarding test results, treatment plans, or referrals to specialists. Communication has always been clear, timely, and supportive, which is essential for making informed decisions about my health. When I've been referred to outside specialists for procedures, the team has been consistently aware of the outcomes and continues to monitor my overall care. I genuinely feel that my medical care is being watched closely, and I'm thankful for that level of attention. I went to Dr. Gorman for a year. It took a long time to get an appointment. Even though he was on…read moreinsurance as my doctor of record, they would not schedule an appointment until I had a little plastic card. My appointment was thorough. He made a good suggestion to move the time I take my blood pressure meds to avoid fatigue. That was a good suggestion. In December, I started receiving calls that I needed to pay $1500 per year to have care in his practice. I needed several referrals at my appointment. The one for imagining and bone density was fine. Dermatology was done incorrectly. When you call, you leave a message. By the time the Dematology referral was fixed, I was leaving on a trip. The sleep study to diagnose sleep apnea was never properly completed. The referral to cardiology was fine. 50% seemed too low to pay $1500 for services. I moved to Eisenhower 365. My new doc reviewed the same scan Dr. Gorman saw as fine. He deemed it not all fine and is sending me for a biopsy for cancer screening. If I in fact have cancer, it would have been nice to know a year ago. It could explain the fatigue. I pray the outcome is ok. I guess he did me a favor by chasing me away to get better services.

We were devastated when he left the Optum group to open his own concierge practice. We simply can't 'afford' to not use our insurance and pay out of pocket (like so many desert winter people CAN afford to do.). We wish him well but we will admit, we have struggled to find another doctor like him and it's been 18 months... hopefully we will find someone as good...All good things come to an end I guess.

The technician, Carey, knew that I was claustrophobic and made me feel safe and comfortable during each treatment. She really goes beyond the call of duty and she really does her best to provide excellent care. Also, Dr. Younes was wonderful. He was very thorough, patient and kind. Due to the treatment my elderly parent has received there, I am becoming an advocate for the eldery who are not treated very kindly. It's unfortunate that things are so overwhelming that you can't get an appointment for months, even if you need one for very serious problems, and then always having to see someone else, not the Doctor. I'd be shocked if they haven't received quite a few complaints regarding this, especially since the assistant or PA is not very kind. The nurses and Desert Oasis are great though, they have been very nice and have helped make up for the rude encounters.

He's the…read morereason I remained a patient for years, dating back to his transition from Bayshire Medical to Desert Oasis. This review, however, is not about his care--it's about the staggering dysfunction of the office and the broader Desert Oasis Medical organization. I called to schedule my annual physical and was told the next available appointment that worked with my schedule was four months out. Not ideal, but I accepted it and planned accordingly. A week before the appointment, the office called to request a full blood panel in advance--perfectly reasonable. I went in promptly and completed the labs as instructed. Less than 48 hours before my appointment, I received a call informing me that Desert Oasis had decided to stop accepting my UnitedHealthcare insurance plan. After keeping me on the schedule for four months--and after directing me to complete pre-appointment lab work--they chose that moment to effectively drop me from care. What made this worse was the complete lack of professionalism in how it was handled. The staff member I spoke with showed no empathy, offered no solutions, and made no effort to retain me as a patient. There was no discussion of interim options, no offer to proceed on a cash basis, nothing. Just a flat, indifferent dismissal. I contacted UnitedHealthcare, who confirmed that Dr. Corzano is in-network under my plan. When I relayed this back to the office, I was again told--without explanation or curiosity--that the issue was on the insurer's end and that I was simply no longer accepted. Again, no attempt to resolve, clarify, or assist. It gets worse. I later learned that Desert Oasis is "grandfathering" certain patients with the exact same UnitedHealthcare plan--yet for reasons no one could explain, I was excluded. Despite being a long-standing patient, I was told I don't visit often enough. Apparently, maintaining good health is now grounds for dismissal. After waiting four months, completing requested lab work, and acting in good faith at every step, I'm left scrambling to piece together continuity of care because of an opaque and arbitrarily enforced policy. This isn't just poor administration--it's a fundamental failure of patient management and basic professional responsibility. Desert Oasis Medical has turned what should be routine preventive care into a bureaucratic mess. It's difficult not to view this as a stark example of the priorities of a for-profit medical system--where patient relationships and continuity of care are secondary to opaque policies and indifferent administration.
