At the bottom it was lighter because of some hair lightening spray I put in over the summer. I had very little style and shape to my hair and it was sort of dull and lifeless. I showed Katie a picture of what I wanted and she was extremely upfront with me about my hair color and how it would require at least two sessions to achieve the look I wanted. So part 1 was balayage to give me a new lighter base color. Then, a few weeks later, I came back for highlights and foils to achieve the lighter pops of blonde I wanted. She toned it down to remove some warmth and by the end of the second session I was so thrilled and loved the color. You have to be patient! You can't go in with dark espresso hair and expect to come out looking like a blonde/bronde bombshell. I included photos to show what it looked like after the first session. The end result is amazing. Katie really listened to me and what I wanted. She really achieved the look I was going for and also cut my hair in an awesome way to give it shape, style, and texture. Would recommend 100% I'm so in love with my hair. After years of extensions I'm so happy to finally love my own hair. As you can see from the before picture my hair was really thin and shapeless and now it looks much fuller and has a ton of body. I love it!!

She did a wonderful job addressing my concerns, answering my questions and asking questions to give me my desired look. She's super easy to talk to, which is a must since I'm usually stuck in her chair for at least 2+ hours. Bianca has been my stylist for at least 3 years - luckily I found her soon after I moved to Vegas! I was tired of hairstylists who beat the crap out my head when I came in to get a new hairdo. I mean, some people will just yank and tear through knots without realizing that your hair is attached to your head = Not fun. I immediately liked Bianca because she was super gentle and concerned about how comfortable I was. Is the water temperature okay? Will it hurt if I touch you ear? (I have an industrial bar). She gently combs through hair to make it a pain-free experience! I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hair, but who isn't? I'm always happy when I leave Bianca. Plus, she actually STYLES may hair after I'm all done. Most stylists, in my experience, just do a quick blow out and then are done. The result is that I have to go home and do my hair for reals. Bianca actually asks how you want your hair styled afterwards. Legit. Another plus - Upon request, Bianca sends out texts to her clients alerting them of specials she's offering. I took advantage of one of these specials the last time I got my hair done. I dyed my hair black with copper highlights, got it cut and styled, and the total came to $139 before tip. I was pleasantly surprised with the wash portion that was truly like a spa! It's a quiet dark room with calming music playing as they wash your hair and give you a scalp massage. I was also offered a drink when I first walked in! The blowout was efficient and quick - the whole process took less than an hour. As someone who RARELY straightens her curly hair, this blowout has me thinking I need to be doing this more often. If I'm ever back in UT and needing a blowout, I'm coming here!

My long hair, growing for eight months, was not working out and the texture was driving me nuts. My thick curls were gone, lost to advancing age like many other things. There is nothing cool about getting older. It was time to get my hair cut off. Danielle was a very young woman from California who was admittedly apprehensive about cutting my hair off. Here was this persnickety older dude from NYC asking her to shear off his hair and be good about it. Yikes! Taking her time, and making sure every cut was as perfect as it can be, Danielle cut off my thinning locks with aplomb. She was exact, in no rush and communicated very well with a guy old enough to be her grandfather, but acting like an 18 year old about to go to Prom. She did a great job on my beard also. My hair looks great and I look ten years younger. (Not a day over 90!) The salon's decor is very 21st century, minimalist in design and affect. Although perfectly nice and accommodating, there is a bit of "fake" generated by the front desk staff. Prices reflect this affect. While not cheap, I will return soon for my hair cutting with Danielle.
