Such an amazing couples spa experience. We were gifted this massage as a housewarming gift. Upon arrival we went into our separate changing rooms where we locked our personal items in a locker signed to us and changed into a fluffy robe and a pair of slippers. From there we went into the waiting room where there were light snacks and drinks including coffee, water and tea. Once our masseuses arrived we were brought to the massage room. We chose a Jacuzzi before the massage and had the option to BYOB but opted for hot tea from the waiting area instead. We had about 15 minutes to ourselves to enjoy the Jacuzzi before being swept away to relaxation land. The massage was amazing and just what we needed after a stressful few weeks of packing, moving and unpacking. We were the only ones there it seemed during the week so it felt very exclusive. I had a great service with Kelby. She did a facial, mud wrap and oil scalp treatment. She was very friendly and also provided a relaxing service. I have facials regularly and she did one of the best I have had. I have never had a mud wrap, so she walked me through the process and I was comfortable and relaxed. The hot oil scalp treatment was the perfect ending to my service. The spa was clean and staff was friendly. I didn't get a tour of the facility from reception and she seemed a little scatter brained, but was nice. I will definitely be booking again with Kelby next time I am in town! read more

It is unfortunate that I have to leave this review after my experience here this afternoon. My daughter had a 4:15pm facial appointment which we arrived on time for. I ran an errand and returned 10 minutes before her appointment was to end at 5:00pm But she never appeared and at 5:10pm I asked the woman behind the counter why the session was running late. She then casually told me that the esthetician's previous client had run over by 25 minutes, so that my daughter would be out in 20 more minutes. I looked at the woman quite surprised and I said are you telling me that if we showed up 25 minutes late for our appointment there would be no repercussion? To that she shrugged her shoulders and said nothing. I asked to speak to the manager, and I am still waiting to hear back from anybody. Our previous experience at this Day spa have been excellent and this is quite surprising. They also made no effort to contact us before we arrived to let us know they were running late. Lastly, when the aesthetician came out with my daughter, she didn't apologize, nor did the woman behind the counter apologize. It was as if it was the normal course of business. ---- The manager phoned me to discuss what happened. Still the experience was unnecessary and the staff needs to be spoken to. read more

Me and my date came today & it was absolutely amazing! We did the couples massage with the hot tub & a facial. i was paired with Mandy for the massage and OMG, She is amazing! The pressure was perfect & her technique was so great. The perfect mix of everything. I will most definitely be back. I just can't say enough good things about my masseuse Mandy. When I lived in the area I loved coming here for a relaxing spa day. I had several hydra facials here and they all left my skin glowing! I've been here 3 times - twice for hair appointments and once for an eyebrow wax. Haven't experienced a massage or other services here yet. First - Kaitlyn is a hair color Goddess! She has twice coached me through picking out hair color - and each time I walked out super impressed with the color and shine! Which, is a big deal - as I've only had my hair colored one other time. First hair appointment was great - awesome cut and color! Got compliments for weeks! Woot!! Had received a confirmation message on my phone for this appointment that said the wrong date. Called back and confirmed the right date, no problem. For my second appointment, I thought I had booked a color touchup and cut. However, was sad to find out I was only on the schedule for a color. I probably didn't make it extra clear that I also wanted a cut on this second appointment - however, most hairdressers I've talked to always recommend a cut every 8 weeks (which, I almost never follow). Anyway, I was disappointed to find out that I was unable to get a cut. I was trying to stay on top of the game for once! My eyebrow wax a few months prior was done by a super sweet esthetician. She gave me all sorts of skin-care tips. Awesome! My skin must be extra sensitive - because I left with cut skin by my eyebrow that took a few days to heal. The space here is beautiful. Clean and decorated. There is a relaxation room with coffee/tea and snacks. Overall, great place to pamper and relax. However, I do recommend double checking when scheduling appointments. read more

me and my boyfriend came in for a steam room session and an ultimate pedicure and our experience was amazing. the relaxation room was very nice, and the steam room was incredible. Kayla and Kelby did amazing on our pedicures, were both super ticklish, and both of them were super considerate and gentle. Kayla made sure multiple times that the water was the right temperature, that I liked the shape of my nails, and that nothing was hurting. the space was very intimate and feels as a spa should. I would give 10 stars if I could. we will definitely be coming back for massages and another steam room session. read more

We called up Sunday morning and scheduled two 90 min massages. They have a bunch of different options for rooms. Some have a steam shower to relax others have a jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and we will be going back. If you want some time to relax I would recommend this place. Best spa I've been to in Salt Lake! Unlike other spa's I've been to, this is a spa you will want to spend the day at. It is a very beautiful European style spa. The staff are very friendly and informative if you need anything. When you book an appointment - you have the option of using the jacuzzi or sauna! After checking in, they take you to a dressing room which has a gorgeous vanity, double-sinks, a shower and toilets. You are assigned your own locker, robe and slippers. They have everything you need to get ready: body wash, shampoo, conditioner - even Decleor face wash! Plus body lotion, combs, hair ties and a blow dryer. Before my treatment, I drank tea and ate trail mix and pretzels on their lounge chairs in the separate waiting room, which was very quiet. (I also saw water and sodas) I had the couples massage and it included a dip for two in the color changing jacuzzi, which is located INSIDE the couples massage room - the ultimate in privacy! It was so nice not having to share it with anyone else but my sweetie. The Swedish massage itself was wonderful! My masseuse was friendly, professional and obviously well trained. My boyfriend said he enjoyed the pressure of his deep tissue massage. I came to Richelle's on a second occasion and had the ultimate facial. I left with glowing skin that lasted for days! The esthetician was incredibly knowledgeable and guided me through my treatment, giving short notes on what she was using and how it benefits my skin. Although she was never trying to sell me anything, after I saw my skin in the mirror I HAD to buy the moisturizer she used on me. For 300$ plus 80$ tip I was upset because we did the spa and dine and the experience was pretty cool except are soak time was 20 min and our massages were not 90 minutes they worked on almost every area but the ones we specified and they were all over the place in there motions , worst part was we asked for medium pressure and the gal her nails kept digging in me ( ouch ) and then I got a pounding headache because she kept pushing my head into the head rest same thing with my boyfriend . We were more tense afterwards The restaurant was okay I got noodles instead of potatoes and they were gross and my chicken was dry and bland ,my boysfriends steak was great .yay for that. I booked massages for my daughter and I on a Sunday afternoon. We both were in dire need and really did not have time any other day. I was hopeful. The spa itself is downstairs, which for my arthritic knees was not fantastic, but not a deal breaker. However, after getting down there, the spa was top notch. Everything about the experience was perfect. My daughter and I were both very pleased with the results. Megan worked on me and helped me get rid of numerous knots in my neck and shoulders, not to mention just feeling wonderful all over. She talked with me before she began, but continued to talk with me about how I was feeling throughout because she was doing some deep tissue work. Although I haven't had a ton of experience with massages, I did go through a period where I got one at least once a month for a couple of years. I never once felt nearly as good as I did after this massage. Megan was great with the deep tissue, but also was gentle where I needed it. My daughter couldn't remember her therapists name, but also left feeling so much better. Will definitely be returning. read more

I just had a worst experience with someone who is supposed to be a manager, Christine. She insulted me by telling me that in the ten years of web booking they have never seen the error that occurred with me in my booking. The appointment I had booked I guess didn't finalize; however, I am clearly not an expert on the booking process. She said if it would have been booked they would have called me. Like I was supposed to know somehow that that is their internal process. She refused to help me. If I didn't have a gift card from someone for here I would not be coming back. They are supposed to be a high end salon but I guess they don't care about their customers. I showed up for an appointment and they turned me away without offering to help in anyway. I have to mention how clean every part of the spa I went to was. From the bathroom to the relaxation room to the reception area - everything was super clean. Felt really comfortable with being there and how clean it was. I got a haircut from Kaitlyn and she was absolutely amazing. I have long hair and typically get really anxious and nervous when going to get my haircut. Kaitlyn was so kind and understood what I wanted and really helped make me feel comfortable. She told me everything that she was doing before she did it. She took care of me from washing my hair, cutting it, to styling it. She did an amazing job and I love how my hair turned out.
