From day one, she…read morewas super professional and friendly and I felt SO at ease w her skills and attention to detail w regard to my wedding. Month of coordinating: I'm super type A and incredibly organized and actually thought I wouldn't need a wedding coordinator or would only need a day of coordinator. I ended up going for month of bc they offered more services and thought, why not? But I am so glad that I did. I emailed and chatted via phone w Kayla and realized I was not as prepared as I thought I would be. Without her, I would've let things fall through the cracks like having an amazing day of schedule, decorations for the wedding, and just random stuff I wouldn't have thought of. I highly recommend hiring her. It's worth it for the peace of mind. Coordinating w vendors: this is when I knew Kayla was just awesome and fabulous. Not only was I personally impressed by her communication and diligence, but my vendors (like The London Hotel in West Hollywood venue, RTG photography and my florist Ben's Flowers) would send me emails complimenting my choice of coordinator and how on top of everything she was. I feel very lucky to have had her as my coordinator. Day of: again, I'm super type A but Kayla and her team got my vision down to perfection. I literally had ZERO worries on the day of the wedding bc everything went according to schedule, music was perfectly on queue, decorations were perfectly set, Kayla took care of all the cleaning and walk through w my venue, and she assured me that everything was going to schedule and plan and it did. Also, bc my family is Armenian, the fact that she was able to remember all their difficult Armenian names and communicate with them helped when it came time for pictures. There's a lot more I can say, but I'll end there. We thought the services amazing and the team incredibly competent for such a competitive price. I shopped around for a lot of coordinators, but this was the most reasonably priced for the most amount of services wo any pressure. I highly recommend!

The best decision I made when planning my wedding was hiring Ryan for full coordination. Ryan gave…read moremy husband and me the wedding of our dreams, on a short timeframe and exactly on budget. We live in Boston, MA and were getting married at the Serra Retreat in Malibu, CA; we had also decided on a date that was only 6 months away. Both my mother and myself work full-time with long hours. Ryan made planning a wedding in 6 months from across the country possible. More than that, however, she made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable. Ryan is a calm and creative professional. The vendors she suggested exceeded our expectations and the budget she put together was accurate and reasonable. We are also a religious couple and Ryan was respectful of the sacred tone that we wanted to set for the ceremony. Throughout the process she responded to the vision I had for my wedding, and used her own expertise to make that vision a reality. I wanted an elegant but simple reception that would complement the Spanish courtyard and natural beauty of the Serra Retreat. Ryan put together a design that created an informal garden feel without being rustic, and was full of personal touches without being fussy. The final event was more fun and beautiful than I had dreamed. Having Ryan in charge on the day-of meant that my bridesmaids, myself, and my mother could enjoy ourselves and be in the moment. (She even handled the uninvited +1 that one of our guests brought without me knowing anything was wrong). Four months after our wedding, our friends are still talking about how it was the best wedding they've been to.

Her energy and knowledge about the industry came through clearly on the phone and for someone planning the event from the east coast, I just appreciated her friendly, but honest attitude and genuine advice. Moreover, it was really important to us to have someone we could communicate with through a variety of formats and Ryan's quick response time and comfort around technology really sealed the deal for us. Even though we only contracted Ryan for the day of our event, she went above and beyond our expectations. Being the one of the first from our circle of friends to get married we had few to turn to for advice and expectations. We peppered Ryan with questions through out the planning process (sorry Ryan!) but she really helped guide us to through the journey. The day of the actual wedding was filled with what I presumed a lot of logistics, set up and directing. I presume because all I saw were the finished work. As the event stretched through out the night, toasts magically occurred, food courses automatically changed, and the guests danced the night away. Looking back, if there was one thing I did right, it was booking Ryan as my day of coordinator.

From our first call, Jane was incredibly professional, kind, and willing to be much more available than other planners I was also "interviewing". I had already booked our venue, so opted for partial planning services, which was totally competitive for my size wedding and WORTH every penny spent. If I could describe myself - I'd say I'm a low stress, but type A style person. I super appreciated her custom spreadsheets, accessibility through google drive, and overall organization. We had check in calls regularly leading up to the wedding and she was able to answer any and all questions and had great recommendations for vendors (we went with almost all of them)! During my time with Jane, Crystal also joined her as part owner and partner and she was also INCREDIBLE to work with. I think this dynamic will really benefit all future brides! Where Jane really shines, (aside from overall design which she totally just gets) is when it gets to crunch time! She made our wedding weekend so stress free, took control of each situation, and allowed us to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Behind the scenes she and her team worked tirelessly to put together a wedding set up which was beyond my wildest dreams. So many of our guests came up to us and commended her hard work throughout the day. I can't say enough great things about her, she was a joy to work with over the past year and I whole-heartedly recommend her to any couple seeking help with planning their wedding.

But he is also all those things you HOPE for: stylish, refined and sophisticated, with a calming voice and flawless delivery. We eloped, planning a simple living room ceremony with just a half dozen guests. This was to be the final event of a three week cruise through the Panama canal. Unexpectedly, we arrived in LA just as the Palisades fire was gaining speed, a very destabilizing event. Everyone involved was understandably stressed, but we kept our wits about us in no small part due to Chris' unflappable commitment. He never wavered, not even for a second, from his task and he made our little elopement an event to remember. He arrived ready to take us through the "paperwork" part, confidently and professionally, then seamlessly switching over to our ceremony in front of the living room fireplace, while fires outside pretty much raged all around us. We were so lucky to have found him and would recommend him wholeheartedly, whether your event be grand or modest, Chris will shine for sure and take the best care of you both! - Amy & Bryce Weber, wed Jan 11, 2025

I first contacted Lauren about 1.5 years before our wedding day, and she was incredibly flexible and responsive to my inquiries and scheduling our initial conversation. We planned our Hawai'i wedding from the mainland, and so most of our communication leading up to the wedding was over email (we able to use her creative consultation a la carte service in addition to the one-month package), and her high level of responsiveness and professionalism sustained itself over the months before the big day. When we were able to sit down with Lauren in person during the week before the wedding, Lauren was super thorough in making sure both my husband and I had everything covered and were aligned on the details and flow of the day. She covered every detail we could (and couldn't) think of, and on top of this was super friendly and laid back. On the day of, her and her team took care of everything so seamlessly and my husband and I were able to relax (and eat!) and enjoy the day. Highly recommend L-4-Love!

We paid for the wedding ourselves, and one of her best skills was coming up with creative ideas that were not only inexpensive, but beautiful too. People were shocked when we told them how much our wedding cost, and the reason it was so cheap was because of Lauren and all her great detail oriented, gorgeous ideas. So many people have told me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Also, even though she is tiny and sweet, she isn't afraid to press vendors to give you the best deal possible. She literally paid for her services on the first meeting we had with her and our venue. I truly felt that she had our best interest at the forefront of everything she did. In short, without Lauren, our wedding wouldn't have been one tenth as beautiful, well done, and enjoyable as it was. Lauren, my wife and I can't thank you enough. You are a wonder.

She made the entire wedding planning experience feel so easy and fun, and we truly couldn't have done it without her! From the start, Emily was so involved and invested in our wedding. She answered all of our late night texts, emails to vendors, phone calls, zoom calls, and saved me from the occasional crash-out. On the day of our wedding, Emily was nothing short of a LIFESAVER. A wedding day has so many moving pieces, but she handled everything with such calmness and grace. She made sure everything stayed on schedule, our very large bridal party were at the right place at the right time, that everything flowed seamlessly, and that we could simply be present and enjoy every second of our special day. We first spoke to Katie for an initial call and she was really knowledgable and friendly that I was sad to hear we would be working with another coordinator, but Emily happily jumped on a call to ease any worries I may have had. We went with the Month of Coordination service which allowed us to do most of the planning ourselves (most of our vendors were locked in early on, but MB provides a lovely list of vendors they've worked with in case it's needed). Emily had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire (you can tell they know what they're doing with the questions being asked) and went over every detail with us, including areas we were still figuring out. She was available for any questions I had as well leading up to the day, made sure to reach out to all of our vendors with the master timeline, and even provided some guidance for my cousin that was officiating for the first time. A big bonus is how many weddings they've coordinated at Walnut Grove that they're very familiar with the venue and the folks from Command Performance Catering. Emily led us through rehearsal the day before and made sure the actual wedding day went smoothly. Not wanting to hurt her or ruin her day I THANKFULLY found TEARS OF JOY on Instagram. It literally took ONE phone call to Adrienne and the rest is pretty much history. I'd offered to help as well but with work and my busy career it was almost impossible. But ADRIENNE was there EVERY single step of the way. She kept me up to date as to what was going on and what my friend had requested. Something about her calmed and reassured me. I only had one concern, that was to take care of my friend on her special day. Well the GIRLS of Tears of Joy surpassed that expectation tenfold and 100%. She coordinated every single detail to the tee and exactly like my friend wanted. On the big day these girls were there EVERY step of the way making sure my friends wishes went as planned. Her and her team even had the arduous task of sending away unwanted guests at the Brides request of course. But they did so with such professionalism and tact that it was to be admired. My friends day went off exactly as planned with Adrienne herself even making a last ditch to the reception location to fetch the brides bouquet that was accidentally left at the hotel. How she goy back to the wedding in time I will never know. Thats just what you get with these women. A group of "make it happeners". Her and her staff just go wayyy above the call of duty and what is expected. Which is exactly what I'm use to and what I expect. I'm so glad I took a chance and called on Tears of Joy. I can't thank Adrienne and Melanie enough for all their hard work and couldn't have done it without them.
