Tina was great! I got the best haircut I've gotten in a long time. Tina (the owner/stylist) really listens to what you want. Throughout the haircut, she asked me if I wanted to adjust this or that, talked about what she was doing, and it was really helpful in getting the perfect cut that for me will be both easy to maintain, able to dress up, and also really stylish. She nailed it. She also seems like a really great person. Very nice, down to earth, and easy to work with...with a great sense of style & what will work for you. I'll be going back when the time comes!

When you first walk in the decor is bright and cozy. Tina has done a great job at creating a trendy and warm salon. I have had short blonde hair for many years and have gone to many salons in the tri-state area from Lancaster, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. Alana at Viva La Vida does the best color of them all. To top that off her cuts are great as well. She is so customer oriented- she really listens to what you want and asks all the right questions. I've recommended for two of my pickiest friends to go to Alana and they both raved about her, and of course now get their hair done regularly by her.

I got my hair and makeup for homecoming this yeah here and I'm usually not pleased with my services at other salons but the people here nailed what I wanted!! I'll be coming back for all my styling in future.

I get my nails done regularly and have a salon I normally go to, but since I live nearby, I decided to try Luxe Salon and booked a gel builder appointment online. I was really looking forward to it, especially because I'm leaving for vacation this week. When I arrived, the nail tech started filing my nails and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted a French tip. Her response was, "I don't have time to do that." I was completely caught off guard. I asked why, especially since a French tip would only add a few extra minutes. She told me I hadn't added it when booking. Since it was my first time at the salon, I genuinely didn't realize that was something I needed to select separately. I also don't remember seeing anything that made that clear when I booked. I politely asked if there was a reason she couldn't accommodate it, and she continued to tell me she didn't have time and that I should go somewhere else. Other women who were there getting their nails done even looked confused by the interaction. I ultimately left with half of my nails filed and in tears. When I checked out, I explained what happened to the front desk, and while they apologized, I was told there was nothing they could do. As a professional, I understand that appointments have time constraints and that certain services may need to be booked in advance. But the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. Luxe Salon didn't just lose my business--they lost the business of people I would have recommended them to as well. I have genuinely never felt strongly enough about a business to write a negative review before. This experience was that bad. I would not recommend this salon and will never be returning.

She completely ruined my mom's hair and gave her a tangy orange brassy color. We asked her to fix it. She put toner again and said that's the best she can do. Mind you multiple times including mid process she said she can do the inspiration picture. When I proceeded to tell her it's brassy and nothing like the picture, she said that's the best she can do and she missed dinner with her husband and kid - mind you while we are staring at my moms brassy ruined hair? Mind you I was there from 11:30 am until 5 pm and in the end she absolutely ruined my mom's hair and got it nowhere near the highlights she wanted. I gave her a piece of advice to next time refuse the service if she cannot do it. My mom paid over 200 for someone to play around and attempt to get the color she wanted. She then told us to leave and never come back again and started yelling and crashing out right after we paid. Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT COME HERE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Absolutely disgusting people. DO NOT GO HERE. Also believe the other reviews when they say they're aggressive. They are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. Extremely low class behavior. Save your time, money, and energy. Most importantly save your hair.

She's very knowledgable having been schooled in beauty in both China and the US. She brings techniques to the table that others don't use, and is very quick. She is the owner of the salon and her prices are very reasonable which is a key factor in why I continue to come here. The salon itself could use some sprucing up, it's generic and has alot of unused space. It'd like to see some decor or something done to elevate it a bit. What falls short for me is that Li is so fast that the experience feels rushed and not relaxed. Also because she moves so fast she sometimes wacks me in the head with the blow dryer and splashes water on my face at the shampoo bowl. Overall the entire process feels a bit rough. A few times I've left without being styled because "she didn't have time", or left not satisfied with the styling as it lacked volumn and product. She does give a solid, layered cut, and has reasonable prices so I'll tolerate the negatives.....for now.

Although I already had some previously lightened pieces, my entire head was re-bleached. Unfortunately, the condition of my hair after the service was severely compromised. When I left the salon, my hair felt almost waxy, smelled strongly of bleach for about a week, and experienced significant breakage and damage. I ultimately had to see another stylist to address the damage, and we had to cut 7 inches of my hair to remove the most compromised sections and prevent further breakage. On top of that, I paid $600 for the service. To be fair, the salon itself is beautiful and the staff were friendly. However, the quality and outcome of my particular service were extremely disappointing. It has taken me over a year of care and recovery to get my hair back to a healthier condition, and my hair still has not returned to the length it was before this appointment. I understand that color correction can be a complicated process, but I feel the condition of my hair afterward was unacceptable, especially given the assurance I received during my consultation and the $600 cost of the service. I'm sharing my experience so that anyone considering a major color correction understands the potential risks and makes an informed decision.
