BWC Insurance is a local independent insurance agency based in Carmel, Indiana, serving families throughout Carmel, Hamilton County, and across Indiana. We work with multiple insurance companies for home, auto, umbrella, rental property, and other personal insurance needs.
Our approach is pretty simple. Answer the phone. Return calls. Do what we say we are going to do. There is a lot in insurance that we cannot control, but communication and follow through are things we can control every day.
Being independent gives us options beyond just one insurance company. That helps us find the right fit for new clients, but it is just as important for the clients we already have. If premiums change, coverage needs change, or a company is no longer the right fit, we have other options to review. That is a big part of how we have maintained a 98% client retention rate.

History
Established in 2023.
BWC Insurance was started in 2023 after I spent more than 13 years working for insurance companies. Over the years, I saw a lot of agencies where personal insurance felt like an afterthought. The owners were often focused elsewhere, and basic things like answering the phone, returning calls, and following through were not always happening.
That was a big reason I wanted to do it myself. There is a lot in insurance that we cannot control, but communication and service are not complicated. If we tell someone we are going to call them back, we call them back. If we say we are going to take care of something, we do it.
Being independent also gives us more options. It helps us bring in new clients, but just as importantly, it gives us more ways to keep the clients we already have when their needs or premiums change. Today, BWC Insurance has a 98% client retention rate, and we take a lot of pride in that.
