The cabin that we rented was newly outfitted with a large hot water heater, appliances, and air conditioner. The beds were new and comfortable as well. My main issues were that we loaded up some firewood to come out to this nature retreat and the management wouldn't allow us to start a fire. They had a 14" TV and only a love sofa and upright cushioned chair to lounge around. My thoughts are if I'm here to rough it I'm going to go tent camping. But if I rent a cabin that has a TV at least have one you can see good enough and have somewhere to sit. Also, there is no refund policy. I asked the manager if we could cancel and get a refund, I even said we were good with getting half back since it was a short notice, but they said they don't refund money. I eventually was able to get them to agree to a credit for some time in the future to use. So as nice as the place was, I couldn't give them less than 2 stars, but if you are OK with nowhere to sit or watch TV, then this is an overall nice setup.
