Jess was absolutely amazing during our maternity/family photo shoot at Lake Anna…read more We coordinated on the location and the time of day to ensure the best photos for our family. Jess was extremely flexible and patient as we worked through the optimal location and time. The shoot was amazing, she came prepared with ideas and we had several props to use to help create the experience we wanted. She was GREAT working with our 2 year old son Johnnie, I couldn't believe how great all of the photos were with him. Overall, one of the BEST photoshoots we've had (and we do a lot)! The gallery is just breathtaking and we couldn't be happier with our experience with Jess. Looking forward to another shoot during our next visit to Lake Anna! Crystal Rokos

Melanie is amazing. She saved the day for my small, elegant beach elopement…read more I had been speaking to photographers for months and couldn't find anyone that I liked their work enough to hire who was available with less than a year's notice. In comes Melanie, who I happened to find by accident through a Yelp promo email. She had another shoot earlier in the day, but bc we were doing a later beach elopement ceremony and reception, she could do it! Signing the contract and working out all the details online and via email was easy. She sent me some paperwork to give her details and then we had a phone conversation to discuss and get to know one another. On the day of - she texted me, showed up exactly on time, and was a dream to work with. So friendly, so kind, so helpful. She went above and beyond for me and my family and was so easygoing. She posed us wonderfully and rolled with the punches when a few things didn't go as planned (it's a wedding, it's going to happen!). Absolutely professional. The photos we've been given so far as a preview are stunning and I can't wait to see the others. Everyone raved about how kind she was and how much they liked our photographer afterwards, and when we've sent a few photos, they've all been blown away. I feel lucky to have found Melanie, and her husband Chris, to shoot my day and would recommend her to anyone who asked me for any photos. If we need family portraits or special pics taken in the future, she's our girl!

100/10 RECOMMEND!!…read more Melanie is the absolute SWEETEST person! I found her on Facebook when looking for someone to do my maternity pictures 7-8 months ago!! My maternity pictures are STUNNING and I've never felt more beautiful or loved my body as much as I did then and it was my third pregnancy! My kids absolutely ADORED her and my 3.5 year old son remembers her as the lady who loved his dinosaur toys. I booked our fall pictures with her on my birthday for our second photography session with her! Those pictures are soooo good and my kids were so uncooperative! Melanie also was absolutely amazing with my kids that day too! I booked my daughters first birthday pictures and cake smash with her in June! I'm so excited for those pictures because I just know how absolutely beautiful they are going to be!!! Definitely book a photography session with her! It's very worth your money And she's such an amazing photographer and a sweet person!

I was looking for a maternity photographer in Virginia - and I found Rare Rose Imagery on yelp!…read more I went on Erica's website & inquired. She emailed right away and we were able to talk through email, texting and a quick phone call. What I loved about Erica was her fast communication through email/texting. At the time that I found Erica I was in California and I had my (now fiancé) speak to Erica a few times because of our time difference. Erica and Tony kept in touch with planning our session which made it super easy for me to just focus on outfits. Lol! I let her know I was looking for maternity & outdoor photoshoot. She exceeded my expectations. We confirmed date and time then she let me know the location few days closer to our photoshoot date. Erica certainly knows how to pose (Tony & I) since were not photogenic lol. We received our photos in a drop box pretty fast! She emailed me the link. Our pictures were edited as well. Edited to perfection. Overall - Erica is such an amazing photographer! Super friendly, super fun & social! My maternity shoot turned into an engagement shoot towards the end of our session. Erica has captured memories forever. I will continue to use Erica far as I am in Virginia but my fiancé and I highly recommend her!

Our 19-year-old is graduating this year, and we decided to do a few family photos, as well. We chose a scenic local park for the backdrop for our pictures. Rueben was laid back and easy going. As candid shots work best for our family, we gave him free reign to utilize his artistic skills and click away as he saw creative opportunities. Our boys took to Rueben immediately and loved the camera. Talk about photo bombing! Rueben got some great shots of both boys, our whole family, and even a few of just my husband and me. His turn around time for the pictures was SPEEDY! The photos were phenomenal; Rueben has a good eye. Although a handful of our pictures were posed, he was able to capture moments of interaction, emotion, and personality. Thanks so much, Rueben! #highlyrecommend #value #cherishedmoments
