Specialties
We're a small, locally-owned business that cares about the same community that you do. We donate portions of our profits each year to local and national charities that we list on our links page. 99% of all work is printed in-house. All our photographic prints, metallic prints, artists' canvases, high-gloss posters, vinyl banners, and graphical displays are created and printed here at the studio, ensuring complete quality color and control. Charles is a trained, credentialed, and internationally award-winning professional photographer. You're not trusting your memories to someone with a camera, a "passion" and a Facebook page. Having been in the Photographic industry for over 20 years does have its benefits.
Trust your memories to a master photographer, choose Highlander Studios.
History
Established in 2001.
Our business began with a simple premise: "Lasting Images and a Lifetime of Memories." We began as a largely wedding-based business and have grown to include a large number of image-making services to the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, and Central Virginia communities.
Beginning with film photography in 2001, and now employing state-of-the-art digital gear, we continue to strive for image excellence, great customer service, and an investment that matches the value offered.
From the smallest wallet print to the largest hand-stretched canvas portrait, we produce nearly everything in-house. Our Nationally Certified Photographer is completely hands-on from the creation of your photographs, the proofing and retouching, and the final master-crafted print.
