Then if you're like me - when you get to the intersection and see the 7/11 next to said 'depot' is twice the size and now you're tempted to get on the phone with your lawyer to pursue a court case for fraud and intentionally misleading the public. (I kid! I kid!) But I still ventured inside and you know what? It's clean, well-stocked, a really friendly gentleman behind the counter and the 'Depot' is completely... adequate. Nothing worth coming out of your way for with their beer selection or pricing. I did happen upon a vodka that was made in Kazakhstan (for your one friend that's still quoting Borat some 15 years later) otherwise their wine and hard liquor selection was decent. One interesting item: they have a 'bar' by the counter. I'm not sure if that's how it operated "BC" (Before COVID-19) or not but you rarely see that kind of set-up in North Jersey but much more common around shore towns. It's just minutes from the almighty Clemente Bakery so I'm sure I'd be back for the ease of getting good eats with some alcohol in one fell swoop.

They have some rare bottles of spirits ( high end or limited runs) that are hard to find in similar sized shops. Large selection of craft beers and imports. But like in any small town liquor store watch he expiration on those beers. Not everyone drinks those hard to find beers and they can sit. Hollywood is always good for a quick, local purchase.

Grilled octopus with mango salad was good. Refreshing from the mango. Chilean sea bass on risotto was a bit salty. I needed a lot of water. I feel the whole team can do better on paying attention to customers. Our waiter didn't come back to take the entree order until my husband reminded him. Empty plates were on our table for a while before they picked it up. Bread was done , no asking if we want more or take it away. And I could see them chatting all together at the side. It made me decide not to have dessert.

Birria had a ton of cheese covering the beef and I wanted more beef on it. But the other pizza the other 3 got were pretty good, especially the Bangkok. I would return for their beef selection and to try the Jamaican pizza.

The flatbread was outstanding, crispy crust and enough steak but not overwhelming. For dinner we had the pork chop and the chilliean sea bass. Both were excellent. The pork chop was tender and flavorful and the sea bass was cooked properly and very tasty. But the star. Was the potato side dish. It was excellent. But the service left a bit to be desired. Our water glasses were never refilled during the meal, a bottled beer was ordered and brought but no glass was offered. After all our plates and silverware were cleared away with the appetizers, they were not replaced until after our meals were brought over. This is one of those places where your waiter takes the order, somebody else does the water, and different people bring the food. Though this is very common in a lot of restaurants it was just a bit disjointed. I may be being a bit hard on the servers but compared to other restaurants in the chain the service was a step down. There were other good things though. The value is very good. The food is definitely not overly pricy for what you get. We will try the restaurant again, hoping we were there on what was just an off night for the servers.
