Gas prices are normally always a few pennies cheaper then the rip-off Top Star across the highway but the one drawback to stopping at this Redner's is that it can be very difficult to get back onto 222 since they are located close to a traffic light and if timed wrong, traffic is always backed up and very few drivers seem to be of the considerate nature in terms of letting you out. I've sat through two or three light cycles more than once waiting.....and waiting. While I've never partaken in any of the food inside but their sandwiches look a bit short of Subway quality. (Oxymoron I know) It's more like elementary school lunch lady quality and some the employees there look like they were lunch ladies at some point in their lives. But overall the price is usually right and the cheesiness of the place always gives me a laugh. I'll be back.

I see they now have a website which includes a charming history of this family-owned business dating back to 1955 when the current owner's father purchased the property, as well as where the name "Echo Hill" comes from! I believe almost all the employees are family and everyone is always friendly and helpful.
