They carry a great selection of local (Indiana) produced items such as craft beer, jams and jellies and locally roasted coffee. They have a meat counter with a good selection. They carry just about anything you need. I was in early on Saturday and the store was not crowded. Groceries are well organized and shelves neat. The check out clerk was friendly and eager to assist. Plenty of parking and easy in and out.

The parking lot has more than adequate parking the store is very well organized by category and easy to find your selections. Even though you do have to deposit a quarter for a cart here a lot of times people and do the good pay it forward move and leave a cart free for you to use hoping that you will do the right thing and pay it forward in the future. yes the selections can be small and you will not find a bunch of the brands that used to seeing at some of the big box stores but the money you save shopping at this location will more than make up for the lack of brands this place is perfect if you are trying to pick out certain grocery items regardless of what brand they are I will continue to shop here and gratefully pay a quarter to use the card and I will definitely be happy to bag my own groceries here

Several months ago I started on weight watchers and have sometimes struggled to find the lower calorie and lower fat items, this store definitely carries a good bit of them. I had a problem with my Kroger app and the staff was super friendly as they helped me fix the issue with my app and my Kroger card. With this resolution I was able to start using the app again to clip the Kroger coupons. I have found the store near me out of items when they are on sale and I have had to get rain checks but this store typically has enough inventory that I still find the sale items when I shop there. I will continue to go to this location when I am able to make the time for the trip.

As I stood there with four other shoppers discussing the lack of people to physically take our money the collective group decided that Walmart in Carrollton does in fact NOT need our money. After a few minutes, 14 to be exact, they decided to put someone in a checkout lane to take our money Oddly enough they had TWO people at the door to check receipts but no one actually operating a cash register. I'm sure somewhere on a server in a rack at Walmart headquarters there is demographic information on the average age of shoppers at this particular location. I'm fairly certain that the average age of people who spend their personal money at his store is in excess of 55 years of age. Guess what Walmart, people in that age group do not want to use a you scan for a cart full of groceries. To be honest I think I just start going to a small locally owned grocery store and pay 10-12% more for better more consistent service. See ya later Walmart.

I enjoy shopping there I've been shopping there for quite some time now. Only thing I don't like is sometimes they don't have the electric carts so I try to shop early in the morning so maybe I can get electric cart. So if you ever in the neighborhood of downtown Indianapolis stop by Kroger's on East Michigan Street they have great values great products or you're not shopping just stop by and tell them what a great and wonderful job they're doing. Came here to see if they had Luna bars and was very happy when I found them. And they were on sale 4/$5 which was even better. Great deal!! I also wanted something sweet and ended up with this chocolate tres leches style cake. Never had anything like this before and it wasn't bad. Not sure if I like all the liquid but I did like the flavor. And it was only 200 calories. If you've never had a cake like this I would definitely recommend trying it. And they had other flavors if chocolate isn't your thing. Would also recommend going to the customer service desk and signing up for a Kroger card so you can get the sale items. Only takes a few minutes to fill out the paper.
