He said that is the cause of the snow melt getting into the basement and recommended landscaping vice foundation work. This would be a huge saving for me as the foundation work would be tens of thousands of dollars. There is nothing worse than looking at your chimney and seeing pieces of brick falling out. This…read morewas happening with our chimney and each year, the problem got worse. It was only a matter of time before it would crumble completely. Time to get it repaired. Unfortunately it was too far gone for a repair so a complete tear-down and rebuild was necessary. I received a few bids but I leaned towards Tony because of his positive reviews on several review sites. That and the fact that his bid was very competitive. Also, TK Mason did not ask for a percentage of the payment to accompany the signed contract. Some companies require a payment up front before the work begins and the remainder of the payment due at the end of the job. This was the deciding factor for me. There were a few delays, thanks to our rainy Spring weather but once a clear day was forecast, Tony's guys showed up and started work. They worked on my chimney all day, ripping out the old one and building a complete new structure. Their attention to detail was impressive and their brickwork expertise definitely showed on the finished product. They cleaned up nicely and left me with a chimney that will most likely outlast the rest of the house. I've posted a photo of the chimney taken while our roof was being replaced.

I don't know what happened to my original review, but I will try to reconstruct it here…read more The company is amazing. They know concrete work inside and out. I contacted them to remove my existing front walkway and replace it with a grander one. They IMMEDIATELY suggested and added to the job, drilling rebars into the existing porch so that the new walkway wouldn't sink (like the old one did). Everything was done efficiently, professionally, and on time. I obtained a few other quotes for the job and this company was the one that submitted a reasonable quote, which I accepted. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for your concrete needs.

They came, gave me a quote and a schedule, and actually stayed exactly on schedule. The project went flawlessly without any hiccups, and a few days later, I had a beautiful patio that I've been dreaming about for 10 years. It's been a year since they've come and put down the patio and I wanted to come back now to leave the review to say that I thoroughly enjoyed our patio last year and will again this year. The patio has survived last year's Milwaukee winter superbly, despite the enormous amount of snow we had. They are also very professional and honest with their work. You can easily find people who perform great work, but it's not as easy to spot someone who is honest and follows through with their promise. Don't think I'll need another patio job for years to come cuz they've just done too good a job, but if I do, I'll be calling them again.

Extremely frustrating experience. This group does not have the experience or aptitude for higher…read moreend work. This was not a small project - about 4-6 weeks of work. Owner is a nice guy but.... The work was very inconsistent. The mortar varies in color throughout the work, which was on three sides of the home. The joint lines in the first phase look like the work of inexperience. The mortar lines are very sloppy - they missed many. Less than a year later, there are many areas that the mortar has failed. We have stone wall caps, that were to be reset, per the quote. They were not...perhaps two small pieces were. These top caps were loose within a week after they left. This spring the mortar is literally falling out of the joints. With the multiple issues of the mortar color - some of the worse are these bluestone caps. They used a white mortar that looks ridiculous. They didn't lift the caps to replace the failed mortar under them. They just re-pointed them from the sides.....not even taking the time to straighten them. These guys need to use levels, tap measures and have better eyes. Lastly was the overall worksite management. They maybe cleaned up 70% of the way. Left a mess around the work areas. They need to sue tarps to protectbthe area. We are still picking up pieces of mortar on the ground. Parked on our lawn, after I asked them not to. Used a path in the lawn, that was just reseeded and that had to be redone. We trimmed some shrubs near the work for them. I asked them to let me know if they needed more space. No word about it from them....they just broke off the limbs of our mature shrubs bothering them. Warranty? Apparently not. Nick stopped returning texts and messages. I expect he is embarrassed and doesn't want to deal with the re-work needed. He should be embarrassed, but he should also step up and be responsible for these issues. Again....nice guy but
