It is a fantastic 2-day festival held annually on the four-acre Sharlott Hall Museum campus. This year it was held on July 14-15. The variety of beautiful items on display and for sale is impressive: jewelry, clothing, wood carvings, ceramics, sculptures in all sorts of mediums, paintings, baskets, blankets... If you love Native American artistry as much as I do, this is definately an event to watch for. A blurb from the museum website for the 2018 festival says: "More than 102 juried American artists, representing 30 tribes and pueblos, will present traditional and contemporary artwork making PIAM one of the Southwest's premier Indian-art markets." This is one of the better shows in Prescott.

The sellers are not in the store, but instead each item is tagged with the booth number so the money goes to the appropriate seller. You'll find antiques, arts and crafts, stationary, paintings, dolls...pretty much everything can be found within any number of booths. This makes it easy to find an original gift for anyone on your list since they do seem to have a little bit of everything. A cute aspect to the store is Trixie Carter- shop girl. Trixie is a little dog that stays at the store and you can always see her behind the register. Don't miss this cute little store when you're in Prescott!
