I have had my ducts cleaned many times, and they usually spend 1 to 2 hours cleaning out all the ducts! These two guys showed up spent 15 minutes here, speaking another language, Never came upstairs to do the vents at all, then just left?? I called the lady at the office, she said she would do something and send them back, after that she ghosted my number, my wife then called her 3 times, nothing but excuses, and still after 2 months, absolutely nothing, this type of business model is criminal. read more

I really liked that I was able to book a fixed time on a weekend, and found the call operator to be lovely to deal with. The actual service, unfortunately, was a dud. He did an okay job on the chair and footstool, but on the stairs the edges don't appear to have been cleaned (so the middle of each stair looks okay, and the rest still looks surety) and the rug wasn't great. read more

I had them in five years ago, and they did a great job. So I called them back for the house we just bought. I was told it was $80 for 2 bedrooms and a hallway. As soon as he arrived it was upsell central. Pretreat stains for another $40...uh, no. Why would I have you in to clean the carpets if they were clean and spotless? Sanitize was another $30. WTF, isn't sanitize just code for clean? I took a pass on 'sanitizing'. They spent 15 minutes basically damp vacuuming the carpet. Every stain, discolour around the vents and the marks are still there. It looks like nothing was done. Keep in mind, other than a few spots, this carpet was fairly pristine. It is not like it was heavily stained and they did the best they could. It was like they didn't even try. Oh, and I really liked how they dragged the rigid hose around the corners and banged the crap out of the walls...that was awesome! read more

Hired these guys to clean my sofa and they did a horrible job. Left black stripes on the sofa that weren't there before. They came back to clean a second time and insisted that the stripes were there before and that no cleaner could remove them. We spent an hour scrubbing to get them out. Sofa is now nice and clean, but why pay someone else so that I can spend an hour cleaning my own sofa? The answer is, don't! read more

I hired this company to clean my carpet. It was a small room, so the minimum charge was high. The technician was only working for about 20 mins (circa $5/min). Although the carpet was generally clean, some stains remained and the carpet required vacuuming by me to remove remaining dirt. The job appeared to have been handled in a routine way rather than in addressing the needs of my particular carpet. read more

I hired them to check my furnace and I wasn't impressed. One of them kept calling me "dear" in a patronising way. Then they tried to scare me into agreeing to an expensive duct cleaning, which I didn't want, by telling me the covers on the air ducts were on the wrong way. On October 17th, 2014 I hired Busy Boys services to clean my carpets. I have used this company for a few years and always been happy UNTIL NOW. MY HOUSE WAS LEFT IN AN ABSOLUTE MESS. I work out of my house but was very busy that day so I let the man in to do his work. When he left my hardwood floors were soaken wet, had water pools and scotch gaurd all over them. The carpets were heavy with water and I had a white sticky substance on my wood railings. He wore big black boots in the house which left foot prints through out my hardwood floors . I asked him to clean my dining room chairs and they looked terrible after they dried. I am VERY DISAPOINTED. And it was VERY EXPENSIVE . I called busy boy and was told that was the cost and they would come to redo my chairs. I don't want them back in my house. read more

I called Busy Boys , to clean and review the worthiness of my chimney and fireplace. If I could get a word in with the receptionist.. ( rather challenging) I tried to explain the situation I had and she assured me that "yup" they could do what I needed. I booked an appointment but then was bothered by a couple of things. 1. I didn't feel that they understood what I needed, and 2. that they were able to inspect my chimney and fireplace and were able to tell me what needed to be done. So up at 6 am reading some reviews on their business and realized they were not WETT certified and there appeared to be some negative reviews ( which there were only a few) . I called to simply ask if they were WETT certified which one needs to be to do what I needed done ( scary fire not nice ) and I asked AGAIN if they were knowledgable about repairs, and inspection. Well good thing! NO THEY ARE NOT WETT certified ( insurance issue right there) and no they don't review and inspect they aren't qualified for that, they only clean.... well one wonders how they can do this type of work chimney sweep if they do not have knowledge of how they could damage the chimney or how it is already damaged or if it is even damaged at all. How can you give assurance to homeowners that the chimney is clean and safe to use if all you do is remove soot? How about the creosol ? How about the vents, etc etc? I wouldn't use these guys ! Not because they did a terrible job but because they appear to not know what they are doing as it relates to chimneys and fireplaces, and if the receptionist slowed down to hear the concerns or situation perhaps this could all be avoided. They have a complaint on the BBB site, which aligned with my concerns. They damaged her chimney and fireplace! Phoned and canceled my appointment and will choose someone who knows what they are doing! Again, how can you possibly clean chimneys and fireplaces without knowing the safety issues etc? NOT WETT certified and not knowledge!!!! read more
