First time residential clean with deb, her husband and company. They had great reviews but what a $200 + tax rip off. I cleaned and decluttered for a week before appt. I had 5 things to be done. None were done except 2 bathrooms. Then they left after 2.25 hrs and left so much debris behind at the front door and carpet that I had to clean up not only before the cleaners but after as well. Their answer was that the vacuum and cleaning supplies left debris as they left. Thanks. You don't come back to check your exit? Wow. That was the beginning of what I found when I came home from their so called cleaning.
Excuses:
Husband of owner borrowed ladder from cleaning car without telling cleaning crew so they were not able to put the bathroom fan back on ceiling. I ultimately had to balance on step ladder and toilet to get it back up. My husband and I are seniors with health and balance issues which is why we sadly hired them in the first place.
Specifically asked for 2 low ceiling fans to be dusted. Not done cause said husband borrowed ladder from car so they just left it not done. Again, we precariously climbed step ladder and dusted ourselves.
Notably, there was not even a note to tell us what happened when we got back home from said cleaning. That might have helped explain.
Kitchen floors: floors were washed but the kitchen pantry floor was not done. Very obvious that the floor extended there. Ultimately, I vacuumed and washed the pantry floor after so called cleaners left.
Obvious dusting was left untouched. I subsequently dusted myself.
Main explanation is that the owner has had a long term seriously debilitating illness and should not be cleaning or running this company. She said she was going to get back to aforementioned but was feeling too sick.
Case in point, I cancelled our next appt immediately, a month ago after said disaster. The crew showed up today. The worst thing is that husband showed up and told me, "I should call the office" WHAT????? Why would I when there is apparently no communication with anyone in that company.
I had asked for a discount but owner said invoice was written up already so could not do it. Honored a 10% discount on subsequent clean. But after our experience and them showing up in the middle of nowhere today, I never want them here again.
Beware of this company. That is my own personal opinion and experience in writing this review.
