In 2018 we visited their open house and decided to sign my daughter up for 2 year old class. When…read moreit was time to enroll, we were told that the time had changed to a later time which unfortunately was not reflected on the information packet we had been given when we registered for $150. I spoke with the director and another young lady that we could not start that late due to my husband having to go to work. They apologized for the error and said we could defer her enrollment until the 3 year old class which starts at 7:15 am. Sounds good. Fast forward to May 2019 trying to enroll her in the 3 year old class which starts Sept 1. Now being told that the $150 fee I paid for is only valid through the summer and we would have to pay $100 returning fee to get her in. Wait, what? Shes not returning, she has not even started, makes no sense... I know. That is not what was agreed to. The director and owner are sisters. She tells me she and the owner think alike although she was not there and could only read notations in our file that she can interpret what the owner meant at the time. Really now. But I should have followed my conscience, I'll take some blame here. Pay attention to that little voice parents. Last year when I went to drop off the deposit one of the "teachers" didnt see that I was parked by the classroom and she was yelling at the kids... when she realized I was there she quickly changed direction. This facility is also NOT peanut free. They want you to spend $300+ to leave not 1, but 2 epi pen at the school in case something happens. When we toured the facility as well, I didnt really see any of the kids doing what I thought they should be doing in a montessori program. Didnt look any different from other daycares. In fact, it was dark and the teachers did not look engaged at all. So really, I'm mad I lost my money, but looking at it all together, maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Recommendation: make sure to have clear and open communication with families, people aren't trying to wasting their money on you all. And make sure you, your staff, and paperwork you all give out match. Beware of this place.
