My favorite rest stop ever!!! What dont they have at the bee? Clean restrooms, food, drinks, boiled nuts and shopping!!! I could spend hours here but of course its a pit stop and so we have to go but I always look forward to the stop! Highly recommend and safe! read more

This Busy Bee location gets my vote as the best gas station/convenience store stop along I-10 in FL, probably even go as far as saying from FL until you get to Buc-ees in TX. It's a pretty big facility. There's a separate entrance/fueling area/parking area for the big rigs on the north side. At the front, there's 28 gas pumps & 4 diesel pumps (on the ends) and plenty of room to maneuver between pumps, even while towing a 24-ft boat/trailer. Plenty of parking spots as well. There's also 12 Tesla Supercharger unit/bay on the south end parking lot. The restrooms are roomiest, cleanest restrooms you'll find in a gas station off I-10. Very well-maintained. There's a Dunkin Donuts and a Burger King inside along with great selection of chocolates, fudge, snacks, drinks and gifts. I always make this one of my stops when traveling on I-10. You'll know why when you try this station for the first time. Safe Travels!! read more

Wow. This place is magical. You can get all the standard stuff - gasoline, snacks, etc. also, good name gift goods of all stripes. Prices are a little high, but the products are so wonderful you might not mind so much. Restrooms are huge, plenty of room within each stall. Ladies room has greenery and flowers, Men's room has TVs. We are definitely making this our gas and rest stop for future trips. read more

What in the name of Heaven is this? It is part Cracker Barrel, part Truck Stop, part Fast Food stop, and entirely entertaining. Looking for prime beef jerky or local honeys, they have you covered. Need batteries or motor oil, check that too. Want packed sandwiches, beverage or that unique alligator head paper weight, well you have found your nirvana. Need to listen to the game while you are in the restroom, well the restrooms are like private country club facilities. If you need to gas up, use the restroom or simply break up your trip, this really worth skipping other exits and rest stops to give it a try. read more

Big gas station. They keep this place is tip top shape, very impressed honestly. It has a very modern feel to it. Parents beware, there is a big candy section that is unavoidable. I am not sure what the back story is here but they have aot of busy bee branded things for sell as well. Seasoning, ketchup, hot sauces, honey, all kinds of stuff. Plenty of tesla superchargers as well. read more

My husband spoke of Busy Bee as though it were the Taj Majal of gas stations. They carry a great reputation of having the cleanest bathroom stalls. While I have stumbled upon a toilet full with paper and another piece dropped on the floor, the overall appearance and cleanliness is by far one of the best I've encountered. This Busy Bee also has a candy area, Dunkin Donuts, and Burger King. Additionally, they have showers for truckers and the normal foods you would find at any convenience store (slushies, various rotating sausages or a combination of sausage and some carb-laden covering). This is also a great mid-way point between Jacksonville and Tallahassee. read more

Wannabee Buc-cee's. Billboard after billboard about clean restrooms. Ladies, beware. No toilet seat covers and no paper towels. The staff are less than helpful as well. Cute concept, but try holding it until the new Buc-cee's in Ocala! read more

The Busy Bee has played a vital role in my road trips ever since I moved down to Orlando. I never thought to review it until now, and I'm honestly not surprised it has five stars. It's a great midway point for me to get gas, use the restroom, and maybe grab a snack. Let's talk about each of those things real quick now. The gas pumps are plentiful. There are way more pumps than they need, but I'm sure there are times that they are all full. You'll never be wanting for gas. They have diesel, too, if you're into that kind of thing. The restrooms are actually what the Bee is famous for. They are also plentiful, and they are always clean. If you don't want a shady, rest stop restroom, or if you just don't like public toilets in general, come here. You'll be happy, I promise. As for the snacks, you have so many options. There's a fully operating Burger King inside, there's a Dunkin, there's every gas station snack under the sea, and the Bee itself makes a lot of products that it tries to sell you. Popcorn, fudge, cookies, taffy, and honey snacks, of course. Overall, I haven't been able to find anything wrong with this place. It's good, and I hope it never changes. Come here. read more

Stopped in while traveling, great place had just about anything you could want or needed. We liked it so much we had to stop again on our way back through. read more

My stepparents recommended we stop here because of the clean bathrooms. They weren't wrong, extremely nice looking restrooms, but I did have to look in a few stalls before I found one without pee on the seat. No biggie. My issue with this place is their predatory tactics in order to get WIFI. When you try to log-in to the WIFI, they force you to fill out an extensive survey full of personal information such as FULL name, phone number, email, etc. Once you give them all this, they then require that you "validate" your phone number by sending you a code which you need to input before accessing internet. This was extremely frustrating for me because (like most of their customers) I was traveling and needed to check my GPS to make sure we were on the right track. I use T-Mobile and was completely without signal. They obviously know this is a cellular dead-zone and therefore prey on their customers to provide their entire life story in survey form before allowing them to access internet. Next time I travel through Florida I will know better than to patronize this shady business. read more

Spent 20 minutes in their bathroom. Found it to be a very productive time in my life. Bathrooms were very clean and private. Well worth the extra drive to get their. Gas same price as truck stops with nicer bathrooms. Much like a smaller version of Buccee's in Texas. read more

This rest stop is the best on I-10. Lots of good stuff to shop for plus the restrooms are super clean and spacious.

Bestowing less than 5 stars indicates the reviewer is: 1. a Hater, 2. Blind, 3. Lying about having been to this Busy Bee. Good customer service is no secret. There is nothing here that is foreign to visitors. We've all seen cleanliness and tidiness in one form or another. We've even seen restrooms as regal (if not in person, then certainly on TV). The operators behind this Busy Bee perfectly execute a model that demands repeat business. Folks can gas up east or west of here on I-10 but instead, will pass up exits for a hundred miles either side just to come here. Think of this as the Ritz-Carlton of Gas Stations / Convenience stores. Not in terms of price - but in terms of service. read more

Busy Bee - Gator heads - scalped by Seminoles, no doubt. - Gas Stations Near Me - Live Oak, Florida

I would definitely go out of my way to stop here specifically on a road trip and we did stop here on the way back from Savannah as well. If you have ever been to a Buc-ee's in Texas, it's like a smaller version of that. We got gas, some burger king, sodas, lots of candy: your normal road trip stuff. The bathrooms are very nice and clean! No need to be sketched out while you hover over the toilet and hold the door because the lock is broken while trying not to pee on yourself and questioning why the toilet paper is wet. This place is very clean and we were happy about it. There is lots of room to stretch your legs and lots of cool knick-knacks too look out and snacks to grab. There is also plenty of parking to the side. I would definitely stop here even if you just stopped 20 minutes ago. read more

Literally if I were to make something as awesome as a Busy Bee station I would be content with my impact being made during life! The sweetest people, the best stuff, & LITERALLY the cleanest restrooms you'll ever see on an interstate !! Plus they help the bees, which if you like food or flowers , is an important issue that needs awareness and Busy Bee loves to show how much bees are so helpful for us! It's always a fun time when you stop by and smell the Dunkin' Donuts inside and see all the cool stuff they have for sale! You can literally spend hours there. It's like a mini vacation for your long boring drive! I like to stop there all the time and it's great because you run into so many people you know who also LOVE to stop at the Busy !!! read more

Busy Bee - BUZZ BUZZ FOR LOVING BUSY !! - Gas Stations Near Me - Live Oak, Florida

The hype is real here! It's my first time at this gas station and I'm in love with all that they offer! From gelato to jerky to one of the cleanest restrooms I have been to at a gas station. It's a perfect pitch stop and to fill up gas. Although gas is a bit more than other stations. I enjoyed the gelato that I got, but it reminds me of froyo, which I like either ways. I also got to try their jerky after my siblings bought some and could not help but have more than the share I was given. Definitely stopping by this place if I'm ever on this route. read more

This is a truck-stop like no other. And the jammed packing lot is a testament to this fact. If you are looking for just about anything, it's probably hidden here. I like to look for Gator gear but if you must, there are other FL teams represented. I've never tried the jerky or truffles but they look really good. They also have a large selection of local jellies, jams and honey. I'm really not sure what they don't have. There was even a mountain of pyrotechnics.... really, for the road? They also have cool, clean bathrooms and I saw showers and laundry for our trucker friends. From their website, it looks like they have more locations but this appears to be the nicest. read more

Wait for it.....wait for it....SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!! I don't even know where to begin to do justice to this place. I've never been to a Busy Bee before but I/We have all see the billboards on I-10. I've passed by Live Oak on the way to Tallahassee before but never expected to spend even 5 minutes in Live Oak, FL. Hungry and arriving in Live Oak around 630AM, Busy Bee was my destination. Upon entering, I was blown away! This place provided VAST options for purchase anything I wanted. In addition to all of the Busy Bee options, there was a Dunkin Donuts and a Burger King to eat from!!! In the Busy bee itself, I could have purchased any energy drink, fountain drink, meat-based jerky, bbq sauce, marinade, or hot sauce I could have ever dreamed of. But wait, there's more; they even have a souvenir section that was roped off at 630AM that I could have wondered around in. After my 630AM visit, I stopped around 1230PM again to purchase fudge that tasted EPIC. Busy Bee; IMMA FAN!!!!!!! read more

This place is a madhouse. It grew too big for its surrounding. There is no way to leave but one way. There is no one to help with the madness of the parking lot. There isn't enough parking. Inside lines are huge. Once upon a time this was a good stop, now it's a car accident waiting to happen and takes 10 mins to get out of. They have nothing special inside you can't live without. Literally you can buy candy and popcorn else where. The bathrooms are always fabulous and clean but they do not make up for the chaos that has been created. They need another exit and an employee helping with traffic. Skip this place and save your sanity. The bee has lost its luster. read more

Busy Bee - Gas Stations Near Me - Live Oak, Florida

If you've ever traveled I-10 across the top of Florida it's likely you've either stopped in or driven pass Busy Bee in Live Oak, Florida. Recently voted the "best of the best" truck stop in the country, according to a Trucker Path App after surveying more than 71,000 ratings of 3,500 truck stops across the country to find the best truck stops and which states have the best location. I'm guessing this app is likely the electoral college of the trucking industry based on the popular vote of those willing to participate. Although I don't have this saved in my GPS as a must stop or have any trucker apps saved on my phone I have frequently stopped here to answer nature's call, fuel up, buy a donut, a cup of coffee or simply to stretch. Considered to be the chain's flagship, Busy Bee does operator other locations I'm told, but this one is by far the most popular, the restrooms rival many five star hotels and it's likely the lines can be as long as the wait at the gas pumps during certain times. It's unique when it come to cleanliness when compared to what you'll find on this stretch of interstate between Jacksonville and Tallahassee, if you can hold out this location is undeniably the best option and very successful, people not only seem to gather here they seem to linker inside while their vehicle blocks the gas pumps so it's not usually a gas and go option so plan accordingly if you're on a Clark Griswold type schedule... read more

Lawd Almighty! I vowed that I would treat my body like a temple on this road trip. No circus peanuts, slim jims, Cheetos--you know, your typical gas station grubbish. If there was fro yo, then I'd partake, otherwise I shan't shove needless preservative laden calories down my throat to help make the miles fly by. Guess what Busy Bee has? Several ounces and a mess of Fro Yo Toppings later, I must sing the praises of the Bee. It's like the Whole Foods of the Gas Station world. Boutique, deli, souvenir shop, donuts, burgers, drink station all rolled together beneath one arching roof. They sell handmade soaps for crying out loud. The only thing missing was a spa. I didn't even need to use the restroom when we stopped by but I buzzed in anyway. Wowza. I'll let the photo speak for itself. All we needed was diesel, but like an oasis in a desert (or should I say Pooh Bears to the honeypot), we were drawn in. Being the good little drones that we are, we deposited some cash here before we hit the road. This hive was jumpin' and I'm sure we'll come flitting back by. read more

"Clean potties. It's our beeswax." As you drive along I-10 West you'll notice multiple Busy Bee billboards boasting to have the cleanest restrooms on the interstate. It's true! Busy Bee gas station, located off of Exit 283, has 36 pristine and modern bathroom stalls. How many gas station bathroom includes mood lighting, soft music, art deco lights, and Dyson hand dryers? I don't think I have ever been to a nicer or cleaner gas station restroom! Aside from the insanely clean bathrooms you'll also find a gift shop corner decked out with t-shirts, scented candles, key chains and other tacky souvenirs. Dining options include a Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, and your typical selection of convenience store junk food and slurpees. Not so typical gas station food options includes Busy Bee Golden Caramel Corn and "Bee Bites", local honey, fresh foods, fruit and gourmet coffees. Be sure to check out the glass counter top stocked with gourmet beef jerky and homemade fudge! Thank you Allison N. and Chris W. for recommending the Busy Bee! Oh my lanta, I think I'm in love! What does this place not have!? They have a gift shop, a beef jerky display, and a build your own candy bag station just to name a few! Ever think to yourself while driving "I wish I could stop by a CVS" well you're in luck cause this place sells everything you might ever need to make driving as convenient as possible for everyone involved. We had lunch at Burger King and then coffee at Dunkin Donuts, both were really clean with very friendly people behind the counter. Our food came out in a timely fashion which gave us to enjoy and get on our way without stress. It feels weird to say that a gas station could be a five star experience but this place totally is! I would recommend this place to anyone traveling on Iten and wants a little break from driving.
