We had Busy Beavers move us from Fort Gratiot to our new home. They were competent, responsive, and efficient. When the team leader saw that one truck was insufficient for the task, they sent another truck and worker within two hours. I live behind busy beaver moving company, I would be very concerned that not one of the employee wear a mask, they do not do 6 ft part and they do not wide down anything from job to job.. I watch them leave and return and leave again. I can say that I have never seem them do any thing that is required to stop the C-19 virus. They are going out all over four counties moving ppl . I have picture of them return and going back out with no cleaning to truck or equipment boxes are loaded and unloaded reused from other jobs .. I have not seem to date of 12 05 2020 not one person there in a mask or following any of the state guidelines. So hire them at your own risk .. they are the reason we still have people getting sick.. read more

They moved my neighbor from her condo on the corner of Wright and Garfield in Port Huron They backed the truck acrossed the lawn and left it's wheels on the side walk. Very unprofessional. Sidewalks are not designed to support vehicles especially not trucks! They left tire tracks in the lawn as the ground was quite wet at the time. Very unprofessional. read more

When the owner came to give me a quote, he noticed things that he would be able to sell in his resale shop. At that time, I was at his mercy since there were not any other movers near me. Several times I had to suggest strategies to the guys as to how they would fit things in, so that was a pain and they moved pretty slow which I know now is how they make their money. I am not blaming the guys themselves but at the end they wanted to slide out quickly, which gave me zero time to check things out. By the time it was over, it cost me $599.99 to move less than a mile and get my belongings damaged in the process. No, I wouldn't recommend this company because the owner has a raquet going with his resale shop too. read more

Hired Busy Beavers to move my elderly parents to a retirement community. Dennis C. and Terry L. couldn't have done a more stellar job. They handled a house full of valuable antiques with care, worked super hard and moved a mountain of stuff in a very short time. Most impressive was the kindness and respect they showed to my parents, who were less than thrilled about making the move. Originally, I gave this moving company an excellent review, even though their original estimation of hourly services was 2 hours longer than the actual time. They recognized their error, adjusted my bill, and on site, I gave them an excellent review. However, after unpacking all my boxes and upon inspection of my furniture, I found that three pieces had been damaged significantly. Deep gouges out of the legs of my solid Walnut rocking chair, a solid Oak Library table and a standing oval full length mirror. Obviously these items were not covered or packed to protect sufficiently. I would not recommend using this moving service. read more

Lies and stealing-read on. This company has no integrity. I had hoped to write a good review as everything started out nicely even though they were 1-1/4 hours late.Terry and Ryan were personable and seemed to work hard loading the truck. As they were nearing the end of loading they lamented not bringing a second truck as there was not enough room on their truck for all of my items. I moved 45 minutes away and after arriving at my new home I went back to get more things loaded in my car and left my girlfriend in charge. I tipped them $50 each before I left as I thought they might be gone before I got back. As I arrived back to my new home the guys had finished and my girlfriend filled out the check for 11 hours with the senior discount. I was wiped out from a long day and as they left I noticed the house seemed empty, the rooms were devoid of all the boxes I had packed and labeled per room. I asked my girlfriend where they were and she said I told them to put all the boxes in the garage. Lie #1! I never did, why would I label all the boxes per room? I went to the garage and it was filled so I could hardly get through, boxes stacked, half of them upside down and some crushed. I was chagrined. As I awoke the next day I started adding up in my head the hours they put in and it didn't make sense as they told me they would subtract lunch and cigarette breaks of which there were many. I called the company and they told me they charged me for 9-1/2 hours, $50 to make a side trip to pick up a washer/dryer a mile away and said my girlfriend tipped them $200. Lie #2, #3 and #4. To shorten the story, the owner refunded $250 to me, the workers got to keep the cash I gave them and it's cost me several days extra work for their lack of placing the boxes where they belonged. I had to rent a U-haul to get the rest of my stuff and hire someone to help me move the boxes to their respective rooms as several needed two people and a dolly. As far as I'm concerned the company should have refunded me the full price as it's cost me more than that because of their incompetence. read more
