My father & I had picked up a vehicle earlier in the week, about 2 hours into our trip the radiator on the vehicle went out. Thankfully the closet repair shop was busters. Everyone was very helpful to get us back on the road. They even worked Saturday (closed that day) to get us on the road safely so we could make it back home. In November of 2017, I got violently ill and pulled over on the highway - later sent to the ER. Buster's towed my car off the highway. When I was released from the hospital the next morning, they told me they would get me in an hour. They didn't show up until 2.5 hrs later...as I sat, very ill, in a cold hospital lobby with no coat (left in my car from ambulance). The man demanded $150 cash to get me from the hospital and take me to my car. He told me on the trip that he had bets on whether I was drunk. And he complained about having to work around the vomit around my car. When we got to the wrecking place, he said my key was on the wheel and dropped me off. I got in my car and could hardly steer. I waived him down and said something is not right. He shrugged and drove off. I tried to drive a little more, but something wasn't right. I called the guy again, and he wouldn't answer his phone. Essentially, he left me on the side of the road again, but this time, I had $150 less money. What was wrong with my car? He bent my control arm. Had to get new rack and pinions, totally jacked up my alignment, and totally ruined two tires. Oh, and nobody would ever, ever call me back. $2000 later....... Thank you for turning the worst sickness I ever had into a completely torturous experience. I really have never been treated worse in my life. You owe me $2150. read more

My car was here for 11 days and I kept getting the same excuses as to why it wasn't being fixed. After they finally ordered the part they decided to try to put on - five days after they received it. They said they started working on it at approximately noon and I received a call at 4:30 saying they just suddenly realized they ordered the wrong part. I ended up having to go to auto parts and buy the part (so common they keep it in stock) and go to the shop to put it on myself. All it took was 10 minutes and all I needed was a screwdriver. My car started and I got out! My air wasn't working after they "worked" on it, but I wasn't leaving it for them to "fix". The person who worked on my car was always late to work, very rude, and still charged me $50 for his "service". EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO DO ALL THE WORK! I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone, but best of luck to those that come to them for repairs. read more

Great experience! I cannot say enough! Broke down going back to PA & my parts were ordered and installed "by check out time." They picked me up & called to tell me when to head down to the lobby. Traveling is no time for one of those idiot lights ( on the dash of your car) to pop on, especially on a late Friday afternoon just before the shop you just pulled into was closing up for the weekend. Well that didn't stop the guys at Busters from helping me! My father and I were visiting family in Dandridge TN for a wedding and also to visit my aunt who was been feeling poor as of late. We had a 500+ mile drive ahead of us so they told me to pull right on up. They popped a computer to my van and with the history I told him he figured out that it was a one time issue and that as long as it didn't do it again we were good to leave after the wedding but if it did, show up early Monday and he would get me on the road as fast as he could... I want to add that even though a usual diagnosis for a car is usually pretty expensive he wouldn't take any payment but I did insist and am ashamed at the money I gave him... If I was a local they would get my business!!! Nothing worse than being on a family visit or any other reason to travel and not feel sure your car could break down at anytime!!! Posted on google and got my review removed. We left our car here after our engine blew and the tow truck man recommended it now my stepdad is a mechanic and just by looking at the place I knew it was either going to be a hit or miss. We spent hours there waiting to be told that a simple problem turned out to be the engine being needed to be replaced and we lived FAR away and they told us if we left it there that after they received the engine it would be 2-3 days so we decided to just leave it. The office was COVERED in cigarettes and was so dirty and had so many flies. Didn't even have a bathroom and would go pee around the corner. Well we left it and waited a month to get it and even then they tried to push it off for more time eventhough we told them we had to take our daughter to the ER and I got a fever and had to go to the doctors since I'm pregnant and had missed many appointments but they didn't care. Any time I (female obviously) spoke to them on the phone they wouldn't tell me anything about the car but when my husband called they would go into detail how they needed to do this and that to get it done and how it'll be done "in a few days". Finally we went and picked up our car, they were "generous" enough to lower the price and told us a set price so we had that much plus a bit more for gas, food, and diapers well when we got there they told us a higher price and we were short $200 but refused to let us pay for it minus the $200 until the next day when we could gather it and send it to them and they wouldn't give us the car because they "didn't know the type of person" my husband is and if he'd pay...a bill that was almost $4,000 and they couldn't exclude $200 eventhough we paid the rest and wouldn't give us the car eventhough we had a baby, I was pregnant, and needed to go to the ER back home due to a toe infection that got bad when we arrived in Tennessee. We managed to get the money before that we had arrived in a U Haul and the owner was "test driving" and took a while to get there so we told the man there that we were going to drop it off and be back within an hour my husbands phone was at like 2% so we put it away and eventhough they knew we were coming messaged him asking if we were going (we told the guy we would be back) and that they were going to leave thankfully we got there in time and it wasn't until AFTER we paid to tell us that the AC we had just gotten fixed wasn't working and that it could be anything one being it just needs coolant yet when we checked it full so they didn't even bother to check how they fucked it up and now we have to pay to get it fixed (which we will do a full body check to see HOW they messed it up and to make sure they fixed our car properly), the car was FILTHY on the outside, we left the car manual in the back seat and when we got the car back it was soaked in what we hope is just rain water meaning if it rained they didn't even bother to roll up the car windows, and yesterday we noticed the console in the front had it's cover that had a little pouch to put things in was MISSING. It definitely was in there when we left and all of a sudden it's gone and it's a cheap replacement yet they dared to say that they don't know the "type" of person my husband is. Do not go here unless you need an easy fix that won't need to be left behind and make sure you know exactly what needs to be done. read more
