We are in Branson, so why not play tourist and have an Old Time Photos session with the family? My wife purchased a Groupon and it listed only one location. After going to it and they had over an hour wait and no waiting area, we called the Landing location and they had no wait. We made our way down there and we are very glad we did! We were greeted by a friendly lady who ended up being our photographer. There were 5 of us so we had quite the photo shoot to do and lucky for us, there was nobody else waiting so we were able to take our time. We chose to do two separate themes (Western and Roaring 20's). We began with the Western theme so we were helped by three people to expedite the costume dressing with the girls in the back and my boy and me out front (since everything was slip over for boys and full dress for the girls). They sized me and my 5yo guy exactly with outfits that complimented the other. This was true of the second sitting. Tracy was our photographer and she was AWESOME! She moved us through quickly and was VERY GOOD working with both my teenage girls and a 5yo boy. The equipment was decent and props were fun. One thing to think about when you go in for a photo shoot is you get what you pay for and it is NOT cheap. Tracy sat down with us after the shoot and we did a side-by-side comparison of like poses to select the best eliminating half the photos. Then we went through and selected what photos we wanted printed and what photos to have modified to B&W with edging. This place is a business and they do want to make money, but they are not pushy so you do not pay for what you do not want. They are quick, but do not be shy about asking questions about deals. The paper they use to print is very good. They offer matting and framing which was actually less than taking the photos elsewhere to have done and they do it right then and there. With our Groupon and then the second package we paid a few hundred less than the last time we had family portraits done by a professional so we were pleased with the final cost. They upload all your photos to a web-based provider and release their rights to you since you paid for the rights so download and share away! (I am sharing a photo of me and my wife only, but my kid's photos were great!) We had a great time and enjoyed how well the staff worked together and with us. I recommend!

"Terrible photos and service" should be their name! We got a Groupon and went in. The person who greeted us (Amber) said the price for digital images varies and she couldn't tell us, but our photographer could. That should have been a big red flag! The shoot seemed to go most fine, then the "photographer" Chelsea took us to view the images. Out of 28, more than half were blurry. She told us she could sharpen them, then had to ask a co-worker how. She did so much my jaw line was little squares. Then she tried to sell us a digital package for $215 when there were only 10 decent photos I'd want. She said we'd save money because we'd get all 28. I said most were terrible, she said to print the ones we liked would be more. I pointed out 10x $15 is $150. I decided against getting the ones I would want and definitely against the digital package. I asked for the manager info and she said there are two named Nikki. So? I got a number for one. She finished with, "we're not the manager and prices are fixed." Really? Then why did the couple in front of us get charged more? Avoid at all costs! Update: I received a call from the manager Nikki who stated that the owner, Trent, wants to avoid negative reviews and she could sell me the digital images for half price, $107.50. If you want to avoid negative reviews, hire competent and customer focused staff and don't fleece your customers. We'll get our photos done elsewhere, where they provide up-front pricing and friendly, competent staff. The whole reason we chose this studio over all of the other Groupons for the same price was an online review (on another site) that claimed they had good prices for digital images. This was clearly done by one of the staff there. I want to be certain no-one else makes this same mistake after reading this review. I find it interesting that the review here on Yelp by Autumn mentions yet another price for the digital images just over a month ago. They seem to make up the prices as they go at this store.

Notice the Union flag in a Confederate photo. Also, the large crease across the front of the dress and the jacket.

We went to Branson specifically for photos to celebrate our 46th anniversary. We requested Confederate shots. Apparently the staff was more interested in their remodeling than in our memories and failed to deliver outstanding photos. When I was getting ready, I stated that I should have makeup refreshed and was told that wasn't necessary. Yes, it was. My photos appear washed out when a little blush and some lipstick would have made a difference. They failed to change the flag from union to confederate in all but one shot. They let a huge crease stay on the dress I was wearing when all they had to do was mention that it needed straightening. So, we purchased only 3 of the photos when we were planning on purchasing many more for family and friends. We will go back to Branson later and try a different, hopefully more professional, photography studio.

Upon getting ready for our Branson visit, we had already decided we wanted to take an old time photo. I found a Groupon for Buster's at the location across from the Titanic Museum. The girls there were so friendly and great with the kids (ages 1 & 2), they took some great pictures! Since it wasn't their busy season, they discounted their digital picture package $200 for us!! Some great memories were made here with very friendly, customer oriented professionals!

    Our phot, good pose suggestions

Very expensive. I was highly disappointed that my husband and I could I pick our own items to wear. I mean, that's pretty standard, right? We were pleased with the photo quality, though it seems that is a hit or miss situation with others. In other parts of Branson there are cheaper and better options, but if you're down on the landing and want to it's not a terrible idea

Loved working with Charlie! Even Molly posed in a toy car for her portraits. We love our new family photos from our weekend in Branson.

Loved working with Charlie! She even got our dog Molly to pose in a toy car for her portraits. Best experience!

Here is a pic they took of my youngest.. Looks very realistic and less cheesy than some other places.. In my opinion.

For decades, I have only been buying my books at the Friends of the Library bookstores around the country. The money goes to support the library. The community donates their books, most of them brand new and hardbound. This is the BEST Friends Bookstore I have ever seen. I come to Branson several times a year, and I load up on books. I buy bags and bags of them here. It is an enormous room full of bookshelves. They are well organized and categorized for easy perusal. Nowhere on earth can you beat these prices!

First when it was a private library and I donated money for an annual card and now the second year since it has become a public library. I voted YES to it becoming public because I grew up appreciating having access to a library. Now, seeing how elderly the population is here, I hope more and more benefits will be developed for them through this community library. Short version to my mediocre star rating is based on the inefficiency of the one website that the staff can utilize to confirm residency, its ineffectual. As a resident of 5 years and a tax payer for 5 years, I could not be found. I sympathize with people further out of town, the elderly, new commers, and previous or on-going library patrons having to prove who they are past showing their drivers license. The information my paper file they hold has the exact same information that appears on my drivers license! I'm an election judge in Taney county, and the legal residence in the United States are allowed to vote legally easier than trying to obtain a library card here. I receive surveys to better this library and diligently fill them out. I hope this note goes towards addressing this issue. The library staff deserves better tools to assist guests to this library. Thank you,

When I asked to ship standard, employees told me this store doesn't offer standard. Learned this is a franchise type store and the owners choose what services to offer. I feel duped knowing I've overpaid for shipping from this store for 9 years, thinking they were quoting me the lowest option but realizing they only allow premium shipping. I'm going to Springfield, where I called ahead to confirm they ship UPS standard and am paying $53/box, saving $475. If you don't need premium shipping and can drive to Springfield, it might be worth it! Advice to owners - offer your customers more options to fit their needs.
