This is one of the more English pubs I've been to in North America, not that it's modeled after an English pub per se, but it does what English pubs do. It takes care of an entire neighbourhood in terms of giving them a watering hole and a destination and a place to spend their hours. This is the kind of place that gives a neighbourhood character. It's an adorable little bar, drinks aren't dirt cheap but it's worth it. The food is supposed to be good, but I've only gone here drinking so far. There is no name on the outside of the bar so you might not have the easiest time finding it. But it's worth finding. And if you're not interested in this kind of place then just walk on by and garry on walking.

On top of refills and around when you needed them. We started with the popcorn broccoli and the lamb spaducci. The lamb was really good. Great seasoning. The broccoli was nice but the breading and dipping sauce wasn't anything to write home about. For dinner we shared the tofu, soba noodle bowl. The tofu was really good. Loved the breading and seasoning. The rest of the bowl felt very healthy but very makeable at home. We also shared the burger which was REALLY yummy. Great patty, the Asian pancake on it as interesting and the bun was so soft and tender. The fries were perfect as well but they didnt have ketchup. They had their own version but it sort of tasted like pureed tomatoes without any seasoning so it just wasn't what I was looking for for dipping my fries in. Pleasant experience all around. I wouldn't go out of my way for it but if you're in the neighbourhood and looking for a cute place to eat, check it out.
