We were staying in Windsor from out of town, and decided to have some ice cream as an after dinner treat. When we had found this place, we were surprised to notice how small it was on the inside. We were able to squeeze in, and place our order for an ice cream. I had asked for one scoop in a cup however, I was given a massive scoop, which I was astonished to see! The prices were also reasonable, and the ice cream tasted wonderful. Service was also top-notch, as the individual that provided the ice cream was friendly and knowledgeable about the flavours being offered. Would definitely come back here for ice cream! read more

Nice 50's exterior. Friendly and efficient service. I can see why all ages enjoy Busker's. Had a vanilla shake on a hot day, then returned a few weeks later for lunch. Got the assorted large sub and a Maple Walnut shake. For toppings I just went Omakase. Fairly good value and all the ice cream based items are the real deal goodness. Took it to Mill Street parkette on the river to enjoy in the shade. A fine Windsor experience during Stage 1 of the Pandemic. read more

We have been going to Buskers for 30 years. Today was the first time we had a complaint. The large woman serving ice cream gave two very small scoops. First time she served us. ( We went twice this week and got a nice portion. ). My husband asked for a little more indicting it's not what we usually get. She put about 1/2 an inch extra on top and then charged for an extra scoop. We won't go back and we will spread the word. read more

We (the whole family) have frequented this establishment for many, many years. Never had a single complaint...not ONE! Now that they are under new ownership, the quality and service just aren't the same. My husband refuses to give them another try after having two gyros (separate visits) that couldn't even be eaten. Dried leather he called the meat. I also have had three bad experiences. The first two, they messed my order up. I always order the same thing...a cheese sub. Not sure how you mess up a cheese sub but they have. THREE times now. The first time, I let it slide and assumed it had something to do with the new owners 'finding their feet'. The second time I asked that the owner call me. He did and we had a great conversation. He was very appreciative of my feedback and vowed to make future experiences better. Tonight I ordered a cheese sub online. I was able to pick it up in 15 mins. That was great! It was ready on time, too. I drove home and anticipated this sub. Unfortunately, it was wrong AGAIN. It had ham on it...I don't eat meat. I contemplated taking the ham off and just eating the sub but the principle of them getting an order wrong when it's printed right there in front of them astonished me. I went back and was greeted at the window. I attempted to put the sub down in front of the employee but there's a gap between the window and the cash register and it fell in the gap. Immediately the employee accused me of throwing the sub at her! Wow...I wasn't even angry, just very disappointed. At that point I tried telling her that I didn't intend or mean to throw it and I was sorry. She was very short with me. She didn't give the choice for my sub to be re-made but only offered to refund my money. At this point, I asked her to ask that the owner call me. She said "who is that" and I said it was Mark or Mike (used to be Mike). She said "I'll make sure he knows you threw the sub at me, too" and then she slammed the serving window shut! At which point I decided that arguing with a already angry employee was not going to get me anywhere so I left. I am awaiting a phone call from the current owner and will update this review with the outcome of that conversation. I am so disappointed. This local business is just not worth the aggravation to me. I really advocate for small businesses and go out of my way to support buying locally. Not this one anymore. read more

I decided to stop by here to try out the fresh homemade ice cream I've been hearing so much about. It was a very small but busy location and it was difficult to find parking due to how full it was but, their ice cream was absolutely delicious. I tried three flavours; Creme brûlée, New york cheese cake and Chocolate chip cookie dough and I was rather impressed. Overall, worth stopping by to get a tasty treat! read more

Tonight we took our kids to Busker's on Tecumseh Road. Its the first time we've ever been, after noting it several times in passing. It wasn't anything special - it was good, their portions were generous. I ordered cookies n' cream single scoop on a waffle cone and it was a LOT of ice cream. Our daughter got a kid size which was also plenty for a 6 year old. She and our son got Cotton Candy - which they liked. My husband got a single scoop of Orange Sherbet, which I think he mostly chose because it has no nuts as the little one is allergic. All in all, we ate out front which was nice given that nice weather is finally here so it was decent. read more

Been there for ice cream and loved it. Tried there food for the first time and it was terrible. Very bland, I couldn't even finish my "chicken supreme" after one bite. Poutine was mediocre at very best. Waste of money and food. Had to to throw it all out it tasted that bad. Makes me think of never going back even for ice cream which I always loved. I wish I could get my money back. They need to buy spices and cooking lessons. Couldn't be more unsatisfied. read more

The portions at this place are huge, and the price is pretty decent too! The ice cream is amazing, and there are allot of flavours to choose from. The food is ok, although most likely not the main reason you'll want to come here. Keep in mind there's no indoor seating here, so if it's raining plan on getting it to go or eating in your car. I've been going to Buskers since I was a child, I know bring my children, We love their pizza sub, gyro, Greek salad and poutine.

Buskers ice cream is one of the best in the city, but the food has to be the worst I've ever had. Me and my boyfriend always go to Buskers for ice cream, one day we decided to try their food. Biggest mistake we could of made that night. We ordered 2 chicken supreme pitas, a large Greek salad and a poutine. The poutine was okay, I've had better. The gravy had no flavour to it at all and the fries were extremely soggy. The chicken supreme pita was the most disgusting pita I've ever tried. The chicken inside of it had no seasoning, tasted like they had pulled a bag of chicken pieces out of the freezer and just threw it onto some pita bread. It was covered in random sauce and onions, me and my boyfriend took one bite and tossed both of them in the garbage. Next was the greek salad, looked decent but under all that feta cheese and onions was brown lettuce. ARE U KIDDING ME! $25 dollars of food all thrown in the garbage. I will never eat at Buskers ever again, that includes their ice cream! read more
