I was called to schedule an appointment for an interview for the same day to the Long Beach office. After scheduling it for the next day, I decided to look into the company. I noticed that I had not applied to this company and therefore, decided to call the receptionist. She claim that I had applied through Career Builder. I asked her if this this was commission only position...she said no, that it pays 35k in salary. I emphasized that I was not interested in a commission only position. She reassured me that it was not.
The next day I get a call an hour before the appointment to confirm it. When I got there, two other individuals were scheduled at the same time even as I saw another interviewee walking out. The first two were interviewed before me and it only lasted 10 minutes each. When it was my turn, I told the interviewer that what they were doing was not very professional...I only got a nod. All I got from the interviewer is that they offer VIOS services to business.
Not much time was given to speak. When I inquired, I was simply told, nicely, that this was only an interview to, "get to know people". That a follow up appointment would be scheduled within 24 hours if needed. I am not waiting.
The office looked like it was going to be there for only one day. The desk was very minimal and the wires from the tv and phone were just out there.
