She kindly shared recommendations, accommodated our needs for a special seating arrangement due to my mom who has mobility challenges, efficiently and enthusiastically responded to our multitude of requests - she was amazing! The patio seating was great to enjoy the beautiful weather and the food and margaritas were delicious. We all had a variation of fajitas which we highly recommend. Thanks, Yvonne for making it such a great experience!

The fish was clearly cooked in some kind of oil, something you don't do or it will get terribly wet, greasy, & chewy. They were probably the worst fish tacos I've ever had. It's too bad. I've note been here twice and they have the best steak tacos I've had, short of the ones in Mexico or El Paso, TX. They are FULL of tender, well-flavored steak, topped with cilantro and onions (like a true Mexican taco!). I added sliced avocado, their green salsa (medium heat), a little lime juice and a little salt (saltoholic!) and I was immediately back in Mexico, tearing up some tacos. Don't sleep on these. My wife had the same thing as on our first visit; an enchilada and a chile relleno. She loved both of them. This is Ohio and this is where the Mexicans eat. It's authentic. Strong margaritas and Micheladas are good.

The TVs are usually on news or sports and are loud and annoying. For the price and quality of the food, the TVs need to go. The wait staff is kind and friendly. However, in the multiple times we have been there, we have expressed to our waitress the need for gluten free options. Our regular response is that "they don't offer that." Please know this is NOT a cheap place to have a meal. Even a conversation with the chef would be helpful to those with dietary allergies, like my husband who is Celiac. The bathrooms are moderate. They are often sub par and in need of attention in both the men's and woman's restrooms. We will be back, but only as our budget and food allergies allow.

We came on a busy Saturday morning. The place was packed but it was run very efficiently. As soon as a table stood up, it was cleaned off and the next in line immediately seated. They welcome you and take your drink orders promptly. We ordered a meat lovers omelette and skillet. No matter which way you go, you can't go wrong. Portions are HUUUUGE! Despite being busy and having such a small kitchen, they were able to pop out food quickly. The place definitely has a country vibe with a combination of tables and counter service. It was a beehive of activity so if you're looking for something peaceful, try avoiding a rush... if that's even a thing. I have a feeling this place is constantly busy.

A nice day trip and the two highlights are Castaway Craig's and sitting at the nice, clean beach across the street. Castaway Craig's has a great vacation vibe in the summer where you should sit outside under their beautifully built pavilion and take in the lake view while you enjoy from their menu. My go-to is their Cuban fare. I highly recommend the Chicken or Pork Mojo. The plate was arranged with Cuban rice, black beans and a nicely grilled boneless and skinless chicken breast, sliced. To the side was fried plantain. It comes with a side salad and the lettuce and tomatoes are very fresh. Apparently, the owner or chef (?) had a grandmother who was Cuban so you know the food is authentic. Of course, the menu has all the American fare, too. Check it out! A wonderful meal that I had to take half of it home to enjoy later the next day as there is plenty for two to three meals.
