I bought a lemon tree there some time ago and it is healthy and gives lots of lemons. I can't recall if I had it delivered or I had our truck with us, but I do think they will deliver the big trees. Parking is easy in their lot and the area is clean.

We met with several design and landscape companies and received estimates that varied quite a bit. WestMod came in higher than our other top choice, but there's a reason why: you get the polished details, high-end materials, craftsmanship, and service you're paying for. From the beginning, we worked with designer Joseph, who was incredibly talented at taking our layout ideas and mood-board inspiration and turning them into a cohesive design. I had a very particular vision that was different from WestMod's more ultra-modern projects. I wanted a Bali/Tulum/Mediterranean resort feeling. Joseph said he was up for the challenge, and he delivered. We were able to personalize the design and make adjustments to get everything to a price point and budget we were comfortable with. Once construction began, our project manager, Will B., and the crews were fantastic. They got right to work on day one and accomplished so much it looked like they had been there a week! Everyone was punctual, and the yard was left as tidy as possible considering the amount of construction happening. Before we knew it, the pool was dug and our vision was coming to life. I loved choosing all our materials, from tile and turf to coping, scuppers and firepits. Everything was high quality and installed with excellent craftsmanship. Whenever something bothered me or didn't seem quite right, I would reach out to Will. He would have someone there that day or the next to address it. That responsiveness is one of the biggest differences with WestMod. Nothing I brought up was ever dismissed as too small. If it mattered to me, it mattered to them. I also want to give an honest review for anyone shopping around. We did have an issue with mislabeled turf, resulting in the wrong color being installed by their subcontractor. As soon as I brought it to Will's attention, WestMod quickly got us back on the schedule to replace it. The turf company manager even called me personally to apologize and explain how they would correct it. We also learned afterward that we needed pet-friendly infill. If you have dogs, make sure to ask for it! Once I mentioned the issue, WestMod sent someone back to install the proper infill. Construction debris could also pile up more than I was comfortable with, especially living in an HOA neighborhood, but whenever I contacted Will, it was hauled away within a couple days. The office staff was equally wonderful. Hayley was exceptional and one of my favorite people to interact with. She provided links for tile and other materials, responded the same day, and was incredibly resourceful when I couldn't find something that matched our vision. Within days she would find exactly what I was describing, tell me whether it fit our budget, and help figure out how to make it work. Carlin handled the financial and contract side and was also a pleasure to work with. We only had a few change orders for things I decided to add along the way, and everything was handled quickly and clearly through updated pricing, DocuSign and receipts. Every specialized crew had a lead who was available to answer questions. Ricardo was one of my favorites. He spent as much time as necessary getting the arches on our water wall exactly how I envisioned them. He always listened with a smile, and I really appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. And finally, we couldn't have accomplished all of this on such a short timeline without our project manager, Will B. I have high standards, and I think his may be even higher. He made sure everything was pristine. He responded early mornings, late nights and weekends, never dismissed a question or concern, and got things handled quickly and with an incredible level of detail. He came by often to check the work and make sure we were happy before moving to the next step. The finished backyard is beautiful beyond what we imagined. WestMod helped us maximize our space, made sure our money was well spent, and took so much of the stress out of a major remodel. This is genuinely one of the most competent companies I've ever worked with, and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We simply wanted to turn the unfinished front and backyard into beautiful, functional spaces that felt like part of our home. Richard was very responsive with all the questions that I had. They even laid out the complete payment schedule which started with a small deposit to hold our spot in line. We were put on a wait list for several weeks, but that was fine with me. As we neared our start date, Richard was in contact with me to make sure we knew exactly when I needed to be ready for his crew. On the first day, they showed up early and put in a full day. That same standard and work ethic continued until the retaining wall was completed, which took about 5 days. One other important thing I want to mention. Rick knew that I was planning to build a 70 ft long wood fence on top of the wall myself. I had mentioned that I wasn't sure how I was going to pick up all the wood for the job. Without hesitation, Rick offered to drive me to Home Depot in his large truck to pick it all up as just a favor to me when I was ready. He kept his word and his guys even unloaded all of it for me. It's not every day that you meet a guy like Rick who is willing to help out someone during his super busy schedule. I even tried to give him gas money, but he said, "it wouldn't be a favor if I accepted your money". With all that said, the work that A&R did was top notch. Would I hire them again? ABSOLUTELY. This was my very first time hiring anybody to do any sort of landscaping work. I was ignorant going…read moreinto it so I had to lean heavily into the landscapers expertise on what would be best for what I wanted to achieve. After getting a few quotes, I chose Lee's Concrete because he impressed me the most with the ideas he presented, not being pushy or sales-y, while also staying competitive price wise. He is also officially licensed for concrete. The project started around May 2025, and completed towards the end of July 2025. It consisted of concrete pouring, artificial turf installation, irrigation routing and laying out gravel/river rocks in planting areas. Also, a 2D layout diagram was provided for me to submit to HOA for approval. Below is a list of critiques ranked starting with my biggest letdowns: #1) WEEDS. Not via the concrete, but the artificial turf that was laid out. Lee offered artificial turf installs during my contractor search. My main reason for getting artificial turf was to have little-to-no maintenance. But, mines constantly has weeds growing out of the edges due the gap in the ends not being sealed. My next door neighbor had artificial turf installed by another landscaper and never has any weeds growing out of the edges ever. They had theirs installed after mine. Maybe it was my fault for not communicating that need initially. But at the same time, I thought having artificial turf laid out and it preventing weed growth on the edges would be a given. #2) Blotchy concrete coloring on front yard. My backyard's concrete coloring was pretty consistent and I was very happy with how it turned out. But my front yard was very blotchy and inconsistent. I was told that this is normal and will take about a year to cure and to give it time. Another reason was for differing "pH levels" for the area where the concrete was laid. Well... a year has passed and it has kind of improved here and there, but not so much in other parts. So, I'm a little hesitant to believe it that is actually the reason. It doesn't make sense to me that all the concrete laid out in my entire neighborhood doesn't look as bad as how it looks on my driveway. Structurally, it's fine. But it is a bit of an eye-sore looking at it every time I'm in my front yard. #3) I felt like I spent more time than I needed to checking for imperfections. A main one was my vinyl fence and cinder block wall getting dirty from the concrete pours. Another big one was the cinder block retaining wall in my backyard not being symmetrical on the edges. I had to call it out a few times to even get it fixed. Once it was finally fixed, my vinyl fence had residue from the cinderblock wall fix. By that time, I had gotten fatigue from having to constantly call out imperfections and let that one go. #4) You don't really know when the landscapers will come out to do the work. If I remember correctly, they would come out most weekdays. But, you wouldn't know if they would show up the next day or not. Not too big of a deal honestly. I'm more picky about this because I like to keep the side gate to my backyard locked and not knowing when to unlock it in the morning was just a tiny annoyance. I ended up just unlocking it first thing in the morning and locking it in the evening every weekday. Overall, I'd rate the project a 3 or 3.5 out of 5 - which I think is a very fair assessment. I'm relatively happy how it looks at the end. But there were a few bumps along the way which is why I cannot give a 5 out of 5. It pains me to write the above critiques and not be able to give the highest rating because Lee and the rest of his team were all very nice people. But there definitely could've have been improvements for the entire project.

Krystal, Jesus, and all their staff really provide professional, quality service and care for our yard and irrigation needs. We initially got started with them for a total clear out and clean up of our existing landscape and ended up sticking with them for weekly maintenance services and little projects here and there and have never looked back! Anytime there are issues, they are on it!! Today was another example - I asked Steve if he would just check up on my back sprinklers bc I noticed they didn't run Monday and when he did, he found a HUGE leak in one of our main irrigation pipes! Our house is kind of old and starting to need a lot of repairs so I wasn't completely surprised but the leak was pretty big. We had to turn off all the water to the house and wait for them to get one of their irrigation and plumbing experts over. Richard showed up almost immediately and had us all cleaned up and back in business in no time!! He even hung around to make sure all the leaking stopped etc. I was blown away - I figured I'd need to call a plumber and go through all that nightmare but no!! These guys seem to do wonderful work. They had a beautiful presentation upon the initial…read morewalkthrough and visit. Quote for the work I wanted done was initially over $50k. Then they pressured into signing day of, for an $8k discount or so. Pressure under time - never buy into it. Then they started calling. "Can get you this deal if you agree to do the worth between x months." It literally went down to $28k by the time I had to tell them I went with someone else. They only do pavers. Any additional work would need a different contractor to complete the work. Something as simple as capping an exterior gas line, demo of existing structure etc. they just weren't a fit for our project and what we needed.
