I've been going to Dr. Bushdid for five years now for TMJ. I recently made the switch to have my regular dentistry done there too, as they understand my condition and ensure that cleanings will not cause a migraine later. Dr. Bushdid's methods for treating TMJ/TMD are based on extensive knowledge of the entire musculoskeletal system. Alignment of the whole body is of utmost importance. He's always looking out for the most up-to-date technology that allows him to provide the best treatment. I have a severe case of TMJ and have seen numerous dentists and doctors over the years. Moving forward with Dr. Bushdid's plan was a big decision and investment, but it was 100% worth it. The orthotic he made has been the most long-lasting and successful treatment for me thus far. I've switched my dentist to Dr. Bushdid who has a first class dental office right in Coral Gables. So far the work he has performed included removing superficial cavities, replacing old fillings which included the manufacture of and inserting a ceramic dental inlay (which is a stronger material for one of my larger molars), and finally teeth whitening. I had one last silver filling which was also replaced. Now my mouth looks completely white for the first time in years. In the span of a couple of months I've seen him 5 times. His visits have always been comfortable thanks, in part, to his great staff and his cool practice. One of his offices has a flat screen on the ceiling hooked up to Netflix and while Dr Bushdid did his thing, I caught up on Pablo Escobar's new series. They are looking to add this to another room too. As a dental practician Dr Bushdid is very detail oriented which you want in a great dentist. Besides his dental practice he also is an Orthodontist. His approach is to treat the patient holistically! The x-rays he takes are high-resolution quality, which was one of the reasons I left my old dentist. The images revealed cavities that my old dentist did not catch. Further, he uses additional tools like a gum massager during the administration of the anesthetics which reduces the pain you feel. The booking software his practice uses is also first class. You'll get reminders via txt, email and phone call to make sure you don't forget your appointment. Of course if you know you'll need to reschedule the sooner you know the better. Dr Bushdid is a talented and personable dentist with a beautiful dental practice. You can ask him anything and he gives you solid answers. I like him personally and I like all of his staff too. I have been suffering severely with TMD pain of the worst kind for 6 years ( disc dislocations etc). I have been just about everywhere: Shands hospital, famous TMJ surgeons and while they did diagnose me correctly I did not want to have surgery done first. I have just begun with Dr. Bushdid and I have already within the first few weeks found relief with the use of a pivot appliance to start with, Tensing and stretches all which have helped decompress my jaw locking issues and pain. I have had my pain for a long time and this is the most pain relief I have felt in 6 years so far. Devastating experience. I have a TMD case and I was very upfront with him about my condition and I had letters from other doctors validating the need to make a splint in a particular way. He ignored all information and made a splint the way that he wanted to make it, not one that was specific to the requirements for my condition. I was not able to tolerate wearing the splint he made, it exacerbated my condition causing excruciating pain which sent me off to seek medical attention. The dentist that evaluated me gave him specific instructions as to how to make a splint, he ignored it.. So, I asked him repeatedly to make another splint that would not cause pain, he refused and abandoned me by turning the case over to his malpractice insurance company. This dentist has numerous complaints against him, so do your research before you make an appointment or receive treatment from him. read more

I've been to many dentists in my life, but nobody has ever been as meticulous as Dr. Bushdid. The initial exam includes everything from the complete x-rays, high resolution photos of all your teeth, your posture, evaluation of your bite, screening for oral cancer, and a thorough and fully documented explanation of all the things that need to be addressed. I am very impressed. As of this date, the general dentistry services are Monday to Thursday. The office is located in a small row of white offices, and there is free parking behind the building, marked as "Dentist." Overall, great staff, great service, great equipment, and great doctor! Everyone is super nice and professional. The office is clean, modern and comfortable; there is even a TV on the ceiling so you can watch Netflix while you are on the dentist's chair. read more
