This review is more for the support staff, as I've heard nothing but good things about Dr. Busch.
I scheduled my appointment about 1-2 months out which is as expected. The day before my scheduled appointment, I received a courtesy automated message reminding me of my appointment date and time. Again, all wonderful. However, while my appointment had been scheduled for the 21st, the automated message stated it was actually on the 24th.
I called the doctor's office and was told that my appointment was on the 24th and that Dr. Busch would be in meetings on the 21st. I believe that somewhere when I made my appointment, the dates were miscommunicated as 21st and 24th can sound similar over a telephone.
My frustration is I've been waiting for over a month for this appointment and I was told that I could reschedule for something in late January (2 months from now). Really??? The staff told me that it was the call center that made the appointment and they must have made a mistake. OK, mistake made somewhere but really? I explained to the staff member that my appointment was indeed for the 21st as I had it in my calendar from the moment I made the appointment, and I also took notes during the phone call which I kept for my own records that all said the 21st on them. I also have a voice-mail which states the 21st as a potential appointment date. I get that there is zero chance to keep my original time, but it is crazy that I'm expected to go back to square one and wait another 2 months.
My mistake, or the original attendant's mistake, I feel that my issue was not properly handled. I can understand if there is absolutely no way to fit me in until January. However, the woman I spoke with was very short with me and offered no kind of assistance or apology for the discrepancy. I'm pretty sure if I have about 3 different kinds of documentation that confirm my story, the issue is pretty likely to have occurred on their end. Again, I am willing to share potential blame, but being told it is not their problem because she didn't make the appointment is not an acceptable response. read more
