But I had gotten bit by a tick and it wasn't looking good and was told rudely that I haven't been in for a physical for 3 years and that I would have to start over as a new patient and he wouldn't be able to see me anyway. I get it I hadn't been in a bit but.. I've been a patient for 15+ years and didn't feel like she had to be rude. Not the first time they been rude either. Just read other reviews. They really need to consider looking into new staff. Sadly I will not be back. I have a new doctor closer to home. Just said because my doctor doesn't deserve to lose patients because of their upfront and phone staff.

Today I called and was very rudely spoken to and hung up on. I didn't have the chance to say more than 10 words. I wasn't being rude at all. It was ridiculous. I guess my number was blocked too because I couldn't call back. All I said my doctor was Dr. Hammond who retired in August, was about to ask who the other doctor was that took his place, and she said well "so and so" doctors were the only ones there so I has the wrong number, and she hung up on me. I tried to use their patient portal to send a message to a doctor, but I couldn't fill out one field in the note, which was location, which is a required field. You cannot fill it out, it doesn't work, and it's a required field. So here I am without any way to contact my doctor. This is the large facility on Tesson Ferry. It was already starting to go downhill the past 2 or 3 years. Their manager is a btch. But now it's just sad.

Dr Schoenwalder has evolved in an unhelpful way. He has always tried to sell supplements from his…read moreown store (where he gets a cut) now he charges for EVERYTHING. The amount you will pay is ridiculous, they will charge you for a phone call, for a doctors note to your work or school, be inflexible with appointment changes...and they have your card on file so they will charge at will. Not to mention he doesn't listen to his patients very well or believe them. You'll notice him diagnosing the same things, over and over with no proof. Adrenal fatigue. Thyroid issues. Blah blah. Specifically, i used to see him but he only wanted to sell me supplements from his personal web store. He told me not to buy them anywhere else because his were "better". I found another doc. Fast forward several years, my wife kept going to see him. He ordered a "natural" med for a condition that her bloodwork said she didn't need. He insisted that she needed this med. They ordered it for her that day, without asking, and It was pricey. When she started taking the med she had a serious side effect that he denied was from the med. Every phone call he returned about the side effect, simple questions like "should I stop taking the med? Is this normal?" he charged $190. Each. For a quick phone call. We're about $1000 in and my wife's health got worse and needs other medical follow up, which we're looking for elsewhere. He reached out after she complained about the charges and threatened to leave, he said the charges were a mistake but I'm not confident that's true. I'm a holistic kind of guy, this doctor is not what he appears.

He is a genuine caring doctor who will look at all avenues of medicine. He combines traditional and holistic medicine to find what works best for you. Just wish he took medicare/insurance but you can file it yourself.

Dr. Norfleet's nurse, Christie, is delightful, and does the weight, bp, temp . . . all those things that must be monitored and regulated. Yet, Dr. Norfleet is a personable and non-judgmental physician who is very encouraging related to lifestyle management and upkeeping good health. And she's funny and approachable, too. I am diligent about keeping her abreast of news or changes with my specialists. Everybody's gotta be onboard. I know people who are very fragmented with their physicians. Every doctor has their own little slot, and there's no sharing. Because the sharing must come from the patient. And these folks have suffered medically and physically for non-full disclosure. Not a good approach. Dr. Norfleet practices at the Central Medical Group (14th floor) in the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Center for Advanced Medicine at Kingshighway Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway.

Everything is done by computer if you sign up for my chart.org and messages are not answered. If you need to see the doctor it will take a YEAR TO GET AN APPT.
