All I asked for was a tow but luckily the driver had time to spare so he offered to swap out my recently deceased battery for a new one. I don't know if they normally do that or if it was just a slow day for them. But either way, I appreciated it. It saved me all the hassle (and time) of being towed to another body shop (not Peterson's) approved by my tow program, and coordinate the rental car since I was on a tight travel deadline for work and needed to be 200 miles north of my dead car by the end of the day. (And then having the rental car people pick me up, take me back 15 miles to their shop, and get all set up with a car. All that jazz.) Instead, they swapped out my battery for me and had me back on the road, with my own car and the money that I would have spent on a rental car, within about an hour. And every single person involved with Peterson's that I interacted with was very friendly, helpful, and were really concerned about making sure I was back on the road ASAP. Big thanks to these guys. I hope my car never breaks down near Big Lake again, but if it does, I will definitely call these guys.

My wife found herself in the pheasant habitat (ditch) on a slippery December morning. I called my insurance company to get roadside assistance started for her. They told her it would be about an hour before they'd arrive, but they were there in less than a half hour! On a day when towing companies are probably at their busiest. In fact just up the road there were multiple vehicles in the same situation waiting for a recovery tow that had been there longer than she was. My wife said that the driver was very courteous and professional. I had the car towed to my mechanic in ramsey to have him look at it, he said it had been double gasketed. Tiremaxx had my car towed to them, had my filter sent back to the manufacturer to get checked and said the manufacturer said there was nothing wrong with the filter and that they put it on right.. I asked how the manufacturer would be able to tell that the shop had put it on correctly and he said they were just able to tell.. Tiremaxx is refusing to take any responsibility for their mistake.. I would never recommend anyone ever go here, I will never be bringing any of my vehicles back here. If I could review with negative stars I would. Oh and if you check the yahoo reviews on this place, 3 out of 4 are bad, and 2 out of 4 are about them messing up on simple routine oil changes.
