I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip out, as there are obviously larger more extensive farmer's markets out there, but if you are in the area and need to pick something up, you can definitely find some good stuff here. Parking is available behind the Redmoor on the 2nd and 3rd parking levels (follow the signs). I had a regional (IN) white wine and my fiend had a local Oktoberfest beer. Refreshing! Loads of vendors from food to pumpkins all at reasonable prices. We bought some delicious Greek products after sampling their wares. Gluten-free yellow squash pizza crusts from White Oak Valley Farm were also purchased after tasting. The Market is large enough to have a nice array of products but small enough to cover in an hour or so while tasting and shopping your way around. My understanding is that they offer some sort of exercise class free at all/most of the markets dates. I was told it's not always yoga though. Only drawback is the lack of parking which may have been harder this month due to the coincidence with Harvest Homecoming.

In under an hour, I picked over 12 pounds of strawberries, giving me 16+ half pints of strawberry jam. Every time I had a question, either over the phone or in person, they were more than kind. Their service is super friendly and always with a smile (even when it's freezing cold out and they're sitting in a truck to work with the u-pick hours). If ever you're looking for a place to pick your own berries, I highly recommend Schaefer's!

All the doors to the barn were open, and I was absolutely delighted with the crowd, the market, the bar, and the food truck. The view out the back isn't bad, either. We enjoyed a cocktail - bourbon and fresh made lemonade - chicken tacos, and the biscuits and gravy. Afterall, we were there for the Sunday Biscuits and Bluegrass open event! As far as pandemic measures, masks are required, you must use hand sanitizer on entering and keep social distancing. Vendors asked customers not to touch any merchandise. You are also able to pre-order per many vendors through links on the Farmer's Market website and can even have runners come to your car with the products. Check the deadlines, as some are as early as the Monday before the Thursday market.
