This time, my fiancé found Pro Muscle Lifting Club on Instagram and reached out, and from the very start, the owners (or account manager) were incredibly communicative and welcoming. The gym is in Buffalo, about a 15-20 minute drive from Lewiston, but it's absolutely worth it. The equipment is some of the best we've ever seen--seriously impressive--and they even have dumbbells that go up to 150 lbs. they also have cardio machines. We were there during Thanksgiving week and wanted to workout on Thanksgiving Day. To our surprise, they responded to our Instagram message promptly to let us know they'd be open! Meeting them in person only made us more impressed. We liked it so much we upgraded our day passes to a weekly pass, even though we were only going to be there three days. The gym itself is spacious, well-organized, clean, and free of clutter. They have a few machines and attachments we'd never seen before, which made for exciting and challenging workouts that left us both sore in the best way. There was no crowding at all--maybe 20-25 people when we were there--which made for a comfortable and focused workout environment. For bodybuilders, this gym is a dream--there's even a posing room! On top of that, the owners suggested a really tasty and healthy lunch option that we truly enjoyed. This gym has officially become our New York "gym home," and we can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a top-notch workout experience!

So, let me start by explaining why I gave this a four star rating rather than a five star rating…read more I actually L.O.V.E. the workout my body gets here but there are a few things that I'm a little bummed about. I found especially as a newbie that there is not a lot of demonstration for the specific moves and minimal adjusting of position when the instructor is walking around. Best case scenario, there are people who know what they are doing to mirror. I also dislike that the Megaformers aren't just assigned to people as they register for the class. This makes it so other clients are coming in and saving Megaformer for their friends which makes it feel sort of cliche-y and a bit unwelcoming. The price is a little steep too, though if you buy the class passes it brings the price down a bit per class. Lastly, they got rid of the MindBody app to purchase and schedule classes which is a HUGE inconvenience. Realistically many clients work out at a variety of places and it's nice to book all my classes for the month or week all in one convenient app which now I will not be able to do for Reform. Boo! Also the new app is not super user friendly and requires you to start from the top of the schedule after you book each class which is just time consuming. Now on to the good stuff!! This workout is unreal, every. single. class. I workout a new muscle and every single time I am sore for the next day or so. The megaformer is a great way to workout those muscles that are not easily worked in other workouts. After about 10 sessions or so some of the poses start to sound familiar and are easier to remember. The poses are made to be done very slowly and when done right truly make your whole body shake. The new location on Elmwood in the city is everything. It has a sleek open design with windows wrapping around the sides of the building, clean restrooms and showers, areas to place coats and shoes and even a small sitting area to gather. This place is a must add to your workout regime.

It's so refreshing coming to a gym and leaving feeling like you put in the work. They have open gym upstairs and you can also use the downstairs when there are no classes in session. I think the class schedule definitely offers something for people who like to work out in the morning , day, or at night. It's not intimidating and you feel very welcomed. There are more strength focused classes, and, their trademark tread and shreds which are great for mixing cardio and strength. I love coming here.

I love that there is another gym option on Hertel now. Everything was super clean. The downstairs area is used for their classes, and above, almost like a horseshoe balcony is where people can use the open gym. They have Peloton bikes, stairmaster, weights, kettle bells, treadmills, basically all the cardio equipment you'd want in a gym. I'm not sure if they have strength training workout equipment besides the weights as I just did a quick browse before my class. I have only ever taken the Tred + Shred and Tred + Core classes (which I love - Lex is a great instructor!), and it's been a while since I've been back, so I wasn't sure what to expect of this new-to-me class! Chloe was the instructor, and when I shared I was a bit nervous, she assured me I'd be fine and that it would move fast. The room was set up with 10 different stations that we would cycle through the 45 minutes. It was tough but I looooooooved it. Classes like that are my absolute favorite. I feel like I got a great full body workout and really pushed myself. Chloe was super helpful and kept an eye on all of us to help correct form. I always need a little extra help with form so I really appreciated the support. They are also on ClassPass which is great for me as it's the main method I use for booking classes anywhere. I wasn't sure if I was going to officially reup my ClassPass membership but I feel like I've got to now cause I want to add this class to my routine!

Here are my experiences with the classes I've taken: Pilates & Mobility-very fun and a newer workout on the schedule. This is a total body workout. AAA+Bootcamp: Abs, Arms & ASSets- my first time taking it was this past Monday w/Christina. I'm hoping this never leaves the schedule! Upbeat music and another HIIT workout. It hurts so good! I'm extremely dumbfounded and disappointed at the lack of tact class and businesses that Cristy Karinna Orozco demonstrated after I attempted to be friendly, cordial, inquisitive and supportive of her business, which I had hoped would be anything but what it was! I wish I could give zero stars because choosing one star is the only option I have. This person and what they're doing and how they're acting is not only offensive offputting and hurtful, but actually illegal!

This is one of only two gyms I have been to so I can't compare with others but I can say this gym has a good range of equipment. I like that they have brought in newer equipment in the past year which has been fun to try new exercises and alternatives. I don't think I have ever had an exercise I couldn't do because of them not having the equipment for it. For the most part I don't have to wait for equipment to be available and if I do have to wait it isn't long enough for me to want them to get more of that equipment. No bad things to say about the facility and the staff is friendly. I'd be disappointed if the cancellation process (like others have said) was more difficult than it needs to be after going to this gym for years but at the moment I don't plan on canceling anytime soon.
