Honestly there may not be enough words for me to tell you how wonderful our numerous interactions have been with Bursch Travel in Rapid City. We have booked two lengthy trips to Europe through them as well as have inquired about several other trips that we are interested in taking. Jessica is amazing! She planned a very difficult and detailed trip to Italy for us last year with numerous hotel changes, train tickets, tours, etc, and the whole thing was wonderful and played out perfectly! We enjoyed our experience so much that we booked another trip for this year. This trip was also amazing and especially wonderful as Jessica had called several times to our hotel in Florence to make sure we got the room we realllllllly wanted. Unfortunately our return flight was delayed due to weather but while we were mid-flight Jessica made alternate travel arrangements for us, booked a hotel for us in the city we were stranded in and had it all arranged by the time we landed stateside. What a relief! When we landed we were surrounded by numerous people who were panicking because their flight had also been cancelled and they had no travel options and no hotel - I was very relived to not be one of them. Upon our return home, Jessica immediately filed our insurance claim and we were promptly refunded in whole. The other staff in the office are always helpful, courteous and friendly. My wife and I booked a cruise vacation directly through Royal Caribbean with some friends and when our flights were cancelled due to bad weather, Melinda was not only able to get us flights and to the ship on-time, she actually found us cheaper flights very late at night for early the next morning. Upon our return, the airline that issued the original tickets were reluctant to refund our money and informed us that they would need 90 days to process the refund. Again, Melinda rose to the occasion and got us a full refund within 24 hours. Melinda went above and beyond for us and our friends to make sure that we enjoyed our vacation. Since this cruise, we have booked two other vacations with Melinda and she has been amazing to work with.
