They used to run this outside in the lot but now it's inside the big building. Nicer drop off with organized bins and now shade! The guy working the checkin was friendly and good with information. You checkin with your service address and your set. Simple to do when you need to clean out your house if big items. When driving here turn down Springbrook and veer left at the end. Go thru the abandoned security gate and you will see the customer drop off signs ahead. read more

Overall, a very good experience. The location was well organized and everything was easy to find, especially when looking for specific items. The setup made the process smooth and efficient. The only downside was that it took a bit more time than expected since we went on a Saturday and there was some traffic and a small wait. They changed the pick up date from Thursday to Wednesday at the last minute. You have to have your cans at by 6.00am the day before. MLK DAY was a holiday for all banks government employees and agency, so I didn't place my containers outside. I was told that the their workers don' honor. Martin Luther King Day...To me it's raciism they honored every other holiday. read more

I could not hear her so then she raises her voice practically yelling when I couldn't understand her. I told her that was not polite, and she gave no apology and continued talking like a pouting teenager, continuing to be rude and loud. I asked to speak to a manager (of course Dennis Verner never returns your calls and gets 300k in salary a year doing nothing but networking around town). They are always raising rates and most of their drivers, especially their recyclables driver misses pick up all the time. One time that they did pick up the can they took the can in their truck and I had to call in to get a replacement. I know it's petty but their customer services totally lacking. Also check your bills they like to randomly charge you for stuff that is supposed to be free. If I didn't check my bill, they would've gotten away with an extra $140 charge that they did not deserve. read more

We just moved across town, and after 15 years, we had a lot of bulky items that needed to be recycled. I went to thier bulk drop off on Springbrook a few times before the move, and several since moving into the new house. While I do agree with other reviews that the road in is in bad shape, what more than makes up for it are the team managing the yard. To a person, they are all really great. Very friendly and personable, and super helpful. I cannot say enough positive things about this team, they are the best, even giving me a hand with a very heavy item. Burrtec bulk pickup service is horrible. Long waits to get items picked up. When Waste Management was providing service a customer could call a few days before the scheduled waste pickup and your items would be picked up. When you item(s) are not picked up for one reason or another you'll probably get some rude person to discuss the issue with. I really wish there was another service to choose from. I'm not sure what back room deals were made by the city but seeing my bill go from $96/month for a dumpster to $178/month with Burrtec seems shady. First week of service and they missed pickup day and then again when I called in to reschedule. Finally 4 days later someone came out. Instead of dumping my waste management dumpster that was in great condition, they replace it with a Burrtec dumpster that was already full of someone else's trash and smelled horrible. We live on a cul de sac and occasionally we are missed on trash day. The entire block, four homes, have not had recycle bins picked up for 11 days. When I call Burrtec I am told someone will talk to dispatch and nothing happens, when I call again I am told that someone will speak to a supervisor and nothing happens. Two Fridays ago on pick up day the driver for the recycling container by-passed my house and picked up my neighbors cans to my left and right. My can was full of recycles only to the top, and the lid was closed. I called Burrtec in Santa Clarita and I left a voicemail regarding the issue. As a customer you would think you would get a returned call, which obviously I did not. Paying $89 quarterly for service, one would think you would get a better response. I waited a week where I then went on their main corporate page, and I sent them an email regarding the issue/complaint. It has been two weeks with no call back or returned email. I must say our neighborhood had Waste Management before, and they were a much better company at providing service. Burrtec has demonstrated they do not value their customers, and they do not take pride in providing great service. Burrtec is not worth the money nor are they worth any city/HOA to contract with. This company needs to improve their customer service. I wish that we still had our previous company. By the looks of other 1 star reviews, it appears that other customers are not satisfied either. Last summer our "new" bins were delivered. Honestly, I would be ashamed to have delivered the bins in the condition in which they were delivered. They were disgustingly dirty as can be seen by the photo I uploaded. The bin next to it is clean because I washed that one. The previous large green bin was also delivered in the same condition, and when I requested the smaller bin, I hoped a clean one would be delivered. As you can see, it was gross. Last week I was contacted by a gentleman by the name of Roger regarding an issue I have had over the previous several weeks. The pin that holds the lids on the green bins kept coming out. Each time I called I was told by the individual that my bin would be replaced. That has not been the case, they just came out and replaced the pin. Per Roger he would make sure the bin was replaced. Had the bin out yesterday due to it being our trash pickup day. The bin was not replaced. I called this morning and was told that I was on the list for today. Well it is now 7:22 and the bin was not replaced. At least when I was with Waste Management I believe I only had to replace one of my bins one time in the more than 20 years we used them. What is more frustrating is that they are raising the rates due to the "unexpected closure of the Chiquita Canyon Landfill" This was not unexpected, they knew it was going to happen" read more

This company refuses to honor their word. They took over WM's service area and have told us since day one they would pickup the huge bins and replace them with one that fit in our storage area. We leave them out and nobody picks them up. We call and they have no answer and are unwilling to resolve it other than to setup another failed pickup request.
