The topped the burrito with green and red sauce... delicious!!! The flour tortillas were warm and soft awesome. As for the service... not good! The bartender is a rockstar, but the other server was not good. Forgot to give our drink order, forgot we asked for water, and forgot the beer I ordered. Actually, the food made up for it! Give ECT a try if you're in the Santa Fe Plaza area.

Would never come back again. ============= This review got flagged by Yelp HQ, let me rewrite this and be clear of what happened. I walked into El Callejon Taqueria and Grill, located on 208 Galisteo St Santa Fe, NM 87501 on Aug 22 2026. It was on a Saturday night, right before 9pm. This was my first weekend in the city of Santa Fe, on both Yelp and Google this location shows the restaurant closes at 11pm. When I walked in the bartender told me that it was closed. I wouldn't care that a business is closed before the listed hours; it was the way the bartender went about it. He could have politely told me that the kitchen was closed, and I would not have had any problem with it. He walked up to me within arm's length and continuously repeated "sorry we are closed" multiple times while getting closer to me. It was one of the worst experiences I have had to get escorted "asked" out of a restaurant. The experience was not good. To be clear I never get to try the food here.

Kind and quick - Parking: onsite lot, gets very crowded Came to Tomasita's on a Monday night while visiting my friend in Santa Fe. They don't take reservations and although it was very busy we were seated within 10 minutes. My friends raved about the "swirl" margaritas (Santa Fe classic, apparently) so we got a frozen margarita flight. We were able to adjust the drinks in the flight- they even made me a frozen spicy margarita although that wasn't technically on the menu. Very helpful wait staff. We shared the flautas and loaded nachos. Both were rich but fantastic. We asked for both with a side of green chiles (highly recommend). The flautas came with sopaipillas which were fresh, soft and YUMMY. (They even brought two more when we asked!) This is a vibrant place to come for special occasions or even a nice family dinner. Highly recommend especially if you're visiting!

Seven friends went to Tomasitas on Saturday as part of a 50th anniversary celebration. We had a…read moretrain experience planned at 6:15. We got to the restaurant at 4:30, which we thought would be plenty early enough. They were already packed with a line out the door. It took nearly 20 minutes just to reach the hostess stand and check in. One we did they told us it was a 25 minute wait. Fortunately by the time I waded through the crowds and got back to my group, I already got the text that our table was ready. The next part was chaotic at best. You had to wade back through the line of people still checking in to be seated. Once you got back to the hostess stand, it was every man for himself. There were so many people crowded in to the tiny space it was impossible to tell the people trying to get on the list from the people who had been called to their table. Groups of people were cutting to the front to get seated ahead of others who were already in line to get seated. The employees were not managing it well, instead of calling the name of the next person in line, they just seated the people in front, who as I already mentioned, may have just pushed their way ahead of people already waiting. We finally made to our table and were seated. I really appreciate our waiter, once we told him about our time crunch, he was on it. He got our orders in quickly and the food arrived quickly. He got everything perfect. When we finished he got the checks done fast and we made it out with plenty of time to spare. As far as the food is concerned, the majority of the group enjoyed their meal. One meal, a taco salad wasn't good. The chicken was dry and the fried tortilla bowl was tough and chewy, not crispy. The sopapillas were hot and delicious, served with honey butter and honey. Overall experience was very mixed, terrible check in, great waiter, mostly good food.
