Services is great. The restaurant has nice outdoor vibes and the food is well priced. The food and drinks are very fresh. The cucumber fresh is so good and light and the cucumber mint was is refreshing. The burrito was very filling and wet great with their chipotle mayo. So happy we stumbled upon this restaurant
It's a nice place to visit but it doesn't come with any sides hehe woulda loved some chips, the burrito tasted so fresh with tons of sauce. The place was pretty busy so it took its time. The place was nice and very spacious. Loved the decor and all the trees surrounding it. It was a party of 12 and everything was around $200*
So delicious! Burritos tasted fresh and seasoned so well. The Guac was amazing and I loved my mojito cocktail. Perfect way for us to kickoff our trip to Tulum! Service was quick and accommodating. We were a larger group but were seated immediately.
Burrito Amor is a household name in Tulum. Organic, coconut tortillas, only EVOO, a menu of bowls and smoothies, there is something for everyone here. I have tried everything on the menu and it is all so good. I usually get the vegan burrito no beans no rice, or one of the detox bowls. Amazing food and amazing vibe.
This place was a great lil vibe. The shrimp burrito was insanely good. They gave us three sauces for our burritos and all three were so good. The steak burrito was good as well, not as good as the shrimp but still solid. Would go back.
I when planning my trip to Tulum, I was told Burrito Amor was a must. And I can't now see why. I was promptly greeted upon arriving and I was able to pick my own seating. After perusing the menu I settled on the chicken breast grilled gourmet burrito with their gluten free coconut tortilla. I did not order a drink. The burrito was so delicious and my goodness the tortilla was amazing. I struggled to finish the burrito but I had to because it was so good. I wish I could have tried other things on the menu but I was full. I loved the overall aesthetics of the restauran, decorative yet relaxed. I like the open air feel. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area 10/10
I loved this place as it's one of the freshest burrito I ever had! It really opened my eyes as a tourist to Mexico that burritos can be so fresh and healthy versus slabs of cheese and sour cream like what we do in the states. Seems like also a lot of locals come here as well. The inside of the restaurant was so cute and I loved that it was tucked away and very beach hut vibes. The service here was quite slow and they don't understand English as well so you might need to try your best at Spanish obviously. It seems like burritos are made on the spot of order so if you're really hungry just look at the menu in advance and order when you sit down because they take a while to get to you. We got the Al pastor pork burrito and the rib eye of beef burrito along with some cocktails : flute of flowers and coconut cool. We enjoyed the burritos very much and it was wrapped in a leaf which is really neat it held the moisture in the burrito without it being very sticky. I loved the rib eye of beef and the beef was so tender it just made me want more! It seems small portioned but it's actually super filling which I loved ! The cocktails were very tasty and definitely recommend flute of flowers if you love hibiscus and coconut cool was better pina colada than the resort I stayed in so it's a big win win for me!
This has got to me one of my favorite eating spots in Tulum! The food was just perfect, can't wait to go again! It was that good! So fresh and perfectly balanced in flavors! My husband ordered the steak burrito and I ordered the grilled chicken burrito bowl - both were excellent!! The great thing about the food was not just that it was fresh and delicious, it was good enough to fill us and not making us feel too full! The ambiance was cute and romantic loved the setup and decor! The service was great as well Definitely going back to try more food! Would highly recommend anyone visiting Tulum to have the food here
Every Tulum trip I make it a POINT to come here. This trip did not disappoint. Favs were the ribeye burrito and the smoked pork and pineapple burrito. I tried the copaiba latte and loved it. Our only pass would be the avocado toast, but it's called burrito amor.. get the burritos
We had a very nice dining experience at Burrito Amor. When we arrived, the power was out and they stated that they could only accept cash at the time which was fine. The inside was really lovely with lots of candles, and a very well painted enclosure that was right near the bar. We ordered one of their healthy juices for a detox and my sister ordered a margarita. They both tasted very flavorful while we waited for our burritos. She ordered the vegetarian which I thought was more flavorful than the Al Pastor, which I ordered. The host was very nice seating us as well as the waitress. I personally feel like the burritos could have been packed a little larger, but I am certainly used to more American-size burritos so that may have something to do with it. Either way, I recommend this spot the next time you're visiting Tulum!
Beautiful spot located in an unsuspecting area with many servers that speak English and accept credit cards. Service was attentive and quick and the coconut cool was delicious! As for my meal, the hot brown rice either sautéed vegetables was lackluster, no flavor, and extremely greasy, I barely touched it. It tasted as though everything was cooked in grease. The rest of my party seemed to enjoy their burritos or salads so I'd say that's a safer bet.
My favorite! Came out very warm and quick. The tortilla around the burrito was moist yet crunchy. I love the look of the banana leaf around it. Horchata had cinnamon in it, not on it and was actually our favorite we had our whole trip. 2 drinks and 2 burritos was $25 USD about. Not bad! There's in door and outdoor seating and although was cheap, was very clean and had great aesthetics
The burritos: immaculate. Can't wait to push that out later, cuz baby, it's kicking and about to crown. The service: fantastic. The only thing keeping it from perfection is the NYC price.

If you are looking for healthy food then this is the place to go. They have amazing smoothies, bowls, and of course burritos wrapped in the cute banana leaves. Their outdoor area was super cute and the the customer service was great. They are also very environmentally friendly. read more

Nice place! Outdoor dining and indoor dining (open air) under a big thatched roof. Unfortunately there are no fans inside to circulate the hot stale air. Clean design with bright white paint and the servers are dressed nice, and then you get your pricey burrito in a plastic basket (like the ones bars use for wings or French fries). The presentation on the burrito is nice as it comes wrapped in a banana leaf like a tamale (but still in the plastic basket). I ordered the smoked pork and pineapple burrito and my girlfriend ordered the chicken one. The burritos come with rice and beans and there are a bunch of things you can add at a cost (cheese, avocado, etc..). We both enjoyed our burritos but it just reminded me of the Chipotle chain restaurant. The server was great and we enjoyed our experience. read more

Burrito Amor is incredible! We went twice during our trip and both times I got burritos to-go because they are THAT good! Cooked in banana leaves and filled with the yummiest ingredients they are the best burritos we've ever had! I highly recommend coming here to enjoy the chill atmosphere, delicious drinks and incredible burritos. And bonus--the staff are all so kind and sweet and service was great read more
First stop in Tulum and a great, chill way to start the trip ! The menu is pretty diverse. There's a variety of awesome burrito options, drinks, and a whole separate "apothecary" menu. Food: We had 2 burritos that were the regular size and they were very filling! Plus one of the de-tox dish from the Apothecary menu. All of them were so flavourful and delicious! We also got the guacamole but it didn't stand out as much as the other dishes Drinks: We ordered the margaritas which were so refreshing ! They weren't too over-powering and actually super perfect with the whole meal. We also decided to try the lemonade which was really flavorful and fresh. Finally we got the cucumber drink which really blew everything out of the water ! It was so fresh and hydrating. It felt healthy and delicious ! Location: It's on the main road, since easy to get to but not loud or overpowered by traffic because of how they have used plants to separate it - creating a wall of nature. Ambiance: The music was upbeat but chill too. Plus all the plant life added to the whole experience. It was amazing noticing all the different trees/vegetation around us. Cons: It may just be the time of year or the spot we sat in, but there were tons of mosquitos as it became nighttime. read more

Don't believe the hype! I believe my bottled water was just a glass bottle filled with lukewarm tapwater. The ribeye burrito I had was small and contained very little (if any) ribeye meat. My friend liked the grilled tortilla aspect of it. I did not. I prefer a soft, fluffy flour tortilla over a grilled, crunchy, stale tasting, outershell. But why quibble? Also, the burritos are wrapped in wet banana leaves. This nobody understood. Maybe to keep in the warmth? Maybe to help with the moisture? It didn't matter. Didn't like it. As you will notice this restaurant is on every "best of "list. Either they are great at marketing or my opinion differs from everyone else. My suspicion is that it's easier for Americans to say say than any of the local ( far better) taco / burrito joints. Chipotle in skokie (near my house) is actually better. Ha. read more

Hands down my FAVORITE place to eat in tulum. On my 4 day trip, I ended up coming here three times. They are also on Tomato, which is similar to Uber eats or doordash. Not only are the burritos grilled to perfection, they come with three amazing sauces that compliment them perfectly. My favorites was the white habenero spicy sauce and the chipotle orange sauce. The staff was very friendly, making sure everyone entering sanitized their hands before coming in (during Covid). The burritos are priced more for tourists, but trust me they are so worth it! They were pretty fast at giving our burritos as well. There are many great drink options too! I forget which one I got but it was very fresh and tasty. The green leaf is a banana leaf that the burrito is wrapped in but don't eat that hehe. Amazing place and highly recommend!! read more
A bit overhyped. The chicken burrito was pretty good, but the steak was very bland. The sauces they had on the table were yummy. The watermelon smoothie was bit flavorless. The decor was bright and gave beach vibes. Service was good. read more
I flew into Cancun for my first ever trip to Mexico and drove down to Tulum. Me and friends were so exhausted and hungry after a long trip, but still wanted something delicious (we're on vacation after all). We went to Burrito Amor and it did NOT disappoint. It was easy to get a table, music was fun, and the overall vibes were wonderful. Very cute spot on the main road. We started with the guacamole and it was fine. It was simple but still fresh and creamy. No complaints. The real star were (obviously) the burritos. It was so flavorful, it was perfect. They came wrapped in a banana leaf and honestly just gave it that extra something for flavor. Obviously paired with a corona and it was great. Would definitely recommend. We also all got coconut waters for the table and it was so refreshing and good (note: there is nothing better than fresh coconut water and, as someone from the Caribbean, all packaged options in the US are pretty trash). I also can't stress how affordable this place (and most places in the town area of Tulum) was! Go visit this place! read more
This place is definitely for tourists. There were zero locals there. It was all tourists- including us! My husband called this place overrated, but I liked it more than him. The burrito was under welcoming, but I liked the guacamole and the tequila. My biggest complain would be that the cool looking chairs outside and not good for big booty people like me and my husband. We ended up moving inside just to sit in a regular chair haha read more
I came to this place with a group of guys after a long road trip to Tulum. After reading various reviews of burrito spots nearby, I decided to give this one a chance and here are my thoughts: Wait: Didn't take long at all to get seated but our burritos took about 30 min. Taste: The burritos are good. 7/10. BUT The sauces were amazing, omg especially the chipotle and habenero sauce. (The green one was still good) The place: It was a really nice vibe, with vibey music and an active atmosphere. Overall, I'd say I recommend if you're looking for a tasty spot that's not too expensive! read more

When I'm Tulum, burrito amor is a must! I've traveled to Tulum a few times and always come here at least once. It's a beautiful little restaurant with an indoor/outdoor seating area. The service is really great and it's a good change of pace from all of the fancy restaurants in Tulum beach. The food itself is really the reason this place rocks. The burritos are delicious and are made with quality ingredients and are surprisingly affordable for what you get. The burritos are also wrapped in a leaf instead of paper/foil which looks great and makes the wrapping more eco-friendly. All in all, highly recommend making a stop here! read more

My wife does not really like most restaurants. She loved the burritos from Burrito Amor. They are put together perfectly and then swaddled in a banana leaf. There is something for everyone. The sauces are spot on too. I had a margarita and it was amazing. Do not miss this spot read more
This is an absolute must stop when in Tulum. My wife decided on the place, I was skeptical at how good a breakfast burrito could be, but I was definitely impressed. The spot itself is small inside, so know that going in you might have a wait. It is more than worth it however. I went with the vegetarian burrito, which was filled with peppers, onions, black beans, rice, cheese, pico, and guac. The burrito comes wrapped in a leaf of some sort and made for a cool presentation. I think what made the burrito so good was the shell they used. It was a thick shell that held everything together nicely. The sear on it made sure that none of the ingredients fell out and it didn't get messy. I also loved how they had different bottles of sauces to put on your burrito. The spicy white sauce was the best. read more

Honestly, I've heard so much about this place from both tourists and locals alike so I was looking forward to this restaurant. However, I have to say I was impressed by everything BUT the burrito. Service was great and it was a pretty restaurant in general. The drinks were 10/10... they had so many selections of non-alcoholic drinks, which were so delicious. Honestly, the drinks had to be my favourite - I had the cinnamon roll smoothie and watermelon juice. Both were amazing! The burrito I had was smoked pork and pineapple. It was okay. Not much flavour and mediocre. It wasn't a bad burrito, but it definitely was not worth the hype. read more
Solid burrito spot on the Main Street of Tulum! You can really taste the quality of each ingredient which made the overall burrito stand out but the star of the meal are their sauces. They offer 3 different sauces for the table, 2 were mild and 1 was on the "spicer" side, without the sauces the burrito would prolly not be as great as they were. Half of our table ordered the ribeye eye and the other half ordered the smoked pork and pineapple with coconut tortillas. The coconut tortillas were just as chewy as regular tortillas and I'd recommend this to anyone on their first visit or it's just another gluten free option. We all only ate half of our burrito so we were kindly given takeout boxes and a bag full of their sauces, which we really appreciated. The only thing we disliked was the horchata that my friend had ordered, it tasted like nothing, literally nothing. She was so excited and looking forward to having a fresh glass of horchata for our first meal in Tulum but it was so bland and disappointing that it sat at the table untouched for the rest of the meal. Overall, this is a solid and affordable spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would love to come back!! read more
Such a cute little spot in downtown Tulum. The food was delicious. I had their vegan burrito 10/10 . Their drinks were also some of best drinks I had in Mexico! I ordered their Jamaica agua Fresca. It's a very trendy spot so I recommend getting here early! We went for breakfast but the line was very long so we came back the same day for dinner and didn't have to wait. I will be back next time I am in Tulum. read more
Burrito Amor is an adorable spot to check out while in Tulum. Beautiful and inviting ambiance, it feels like a relaxing experience. The beverage choices are so diverse! Loved all the juices and elixir, coffee items. For lunch I had the smoked pork and pineapple burrito which was very good. Very good service, and we were able to be seated right away as a party of four. It is definitely a spot for tourists but it's a really great time. read more
Get the coconut wrap! You won't be able to try it anywhere else. Such a different experience compared to the average burrito wrap. I felt healthier eating it. The guacamole was plain Jane. Lacked flavor depth. Maybe I've been spoiled in the USA, but guacamole in Tulum just doesn't compare to those in the USA. Affordable and quick dinner option. A great alternative when you're sick of eating tacos and need a break. read more
Good food but clearly catering to gringos. I liked the gf coconut wrap but my partner didn't enjoy the burritos being steamed in banana leaves. I didn't mind that but i found the contents (rice, beans, pork) to be bland which was a surprise in Mexico. I used most of the hot sauce to bring flavor to the dish. read more
I thought I had good burritos before, but that was before I came to this place. Oh man! These were the best burritos I have ever had. I ended up having two. Rib eye burrito which was absolutely delicious and flavorful. And I thought it was the best. But then I had a smoked pork and grilled pineapple burrito and man oh man that was good. Service was also excellent and our waiter helped us hail a cab afterwards. Margaritas were delicious and prices can't be beaten. Highly recommend this place!! read more
Fancy burritos, breakfast, drinks, coffee-- I'd have checked this place out for its name alone, but it turned out to be an excellent find. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating & covid precautions (including spacing). Like most food venues in this part of Mexico, it's mostly open-air. Very comfortable & felt safe. A big menu, lots of variations possible. Only unusual thing is extras are served on the side rather than integrated into the burrito. Remember this is Mexico, so the most boring hot sauces are still outstanding, and the best ones are out of this world. Always, always ask for the hot sauce ("salsa picante") in Mexico. My premium-ingredient burrito arrived wrapped in bamboo-like leaves. My drinks were generously sized. The wifi was fast. All around solid experience. Recommended! read more

Stopped here because of the reviews. I'm a little upset that I did because this place is not "authentic" Mexican food. Totally Americanized style. The wait was forever and over 30 minutes for two burritos and the place was not that crowded. I thought the menu was very limited and plain! Service was slow and horrible. We had to walk to get our waiter who stayed at the counter talking. Seats are WAY too close for comfort. I was basically eating with strangers. I ordered the steak burrito and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp burrito. The flavor was "off" on both. Both were bland with seasoning and extremely small for the price! The sauces service with it were also not packed with flavor. Beware there's no ac and no fans to circulate the air. read more

Obsessed with this place and everything it has to offer; I literally craved their burritos for months, even a year after my first visit to Tulum back in 2021. This is a more modern burrito place for in the area, has a cute cafe vibe. Their juices are excellent but I'm sure the cocktails are too; I had a Copaiba latte which was delicious. Their best burrito on the menu is probably the pineapple/pork one but they are all really good. Burrito Amor gets busy and their is sometimes a wait but you can't rush quality I guess. read more
Burrito amor seems to be a very touristy restaurant. My friends and I got the fish burrito. We liked the novelty of the burritos being wrapped in banana leaves but overall the fish burrito taste/flavor was not anything to rave about. I would spend your money and time somewhere else if visiting Tulum! Unless you're really craving a burrito. read more

Delicious and healthy choice when in Tulum! After two weeks of visiting isla murjeres & playa del carmen, I was so ecstatic to come across a restaurant in Mexico that provides amazing meals with high quality ingredients. Their homemade coconut wraps (gluten-free option) for burritos are incredible and I especially love that they use 100% olive oil & organic coconut oil in their cooking :) read more

Great place to stop before you head out to explore. The service is outstanding! Super communicative, helpful, and attentive. They speak both Spanish and English, and their English is very good. We ordered the Golden Latte and the Al Pastor Burrito add egg. The latte was tasty, but if you need caffeine be sure to ask to add a shot. The burrito was awesome. HOT! Fresh and tasty. They bring out a nice compliment of salsas too. 100% recommend as a stop along your Yucatan journey. read more

Burrito Amor is one of the best ambiences with warm and friendly servers, and carefully prepared, tasty food, competing with the quality of Orange County, California yet it is right here in Tulum, Mexico. Jose is an amazing server. Sor3 G is an up-and-coming artist in Mexico and he works here too. We came for dinner, and breakfast. The prices are more than reasonable for the area and the food is fresh & high above average. read more

Delicious burritos! I never order burritos because they feel so heavy but these were great. I ordered two cucumber cocktails which were delicious and affordable. Cheapest drinks (but fresh) on our trip. We ordered the fish burrito and vegan burrito (add egg) so many great flavors. Would def come back; outdoor seating was so nice! read more

We decide to go to this cute spot on the corner of Tulum Ave. They had indoor and outdoor seating. This restaurant also had WiFi which is a always plus since I'm from the US. I got the Carnitas burrito and a lemonade to drink. The lemonade was so good and the burrito was wrapped in a leaf which kept it warm. This is a great spot right in the heart of Tulum. read more

Yum I see what the hype is about! Seemingly fresh quality ingredients, especially appreciate the smoothies. The rib eye burrito I thought was great, the shrimp was ok - a little watery. Aesthetics made the spot feel more beachy and breezy than a busy car-filled street running thru downtown. The place gets pretty busy. We came at like 2pm and got out pick of table but place was full when we left. Wouldn't have thought 3pm would be so busy! read more
This is an excellent spot to eat a burrito. They are fried and then baked in banana wraps...absolutely delicious with a variety of options. The sauces provided are a great option to make the burrito even better. There are fresh juices for different health benefits if you're looking for something fresh and clean. The staff members are very friendly and quick to serve. The atmosphere has a casual and unique beach vibe. read more
