Just read the tiny sign that says to head to the back and check out the greenhouses. For a rather compact area this had a MAJOR selection of cacti and succulents. I went around murmuring to the plants like they were all my babies. It was so exciting! I saw tons of succulents that I wanted and had to pick and choose the most essential for this trip. I saw plants I didn't recognize and Paul's wife was standing by to answer any questions I had. I ended up with 7 new babies, one a bigger, rarer one for $10. I was quite pleased. I will certainly be back! It's well worth the trip, I dare any succulent or cacti lover to walk away with anything less than a couple new plants.

I will try to keep this brief but there really is so much to say. We have a very big yard and only…read moretwo small trees, so we have been looking around for quite some time. Our ground is mostly rock with a little dirt (northwest Autin in the Hill Country). I have spoken to Albert several times over the years because our ground is so hard, and I worry about the installation, which seems to be the problem with all the other nurseries. Albert assured me they would do whatever it took to dig the holes and get them properly installed. We went to pick one tree this past weekend, but they were all so healthy and HUGE that we ended up choosing three trees. The trees are an excellent value for the cost. The experience was very enjoyable. A few days later, I was called to schedule installation, and they came out the next morning. Highlights: They showed up at 9:30, exactly when they said they would. Four men showed up (they were big trees). They had a jackhammer and shovels. They were very polite and worked with me on placement (turning them when I picked a different side to face the house). They spent time making sure the trees were perfectly straight. They hauled away all the old dirt and rocks (taking the rocks they dug up was great) They built a berm around the trees to help with watering. They installed tubing to help with daily watering. They put in metal poles and wiring to keep the trees straight as they grow. They checked to make sure I was happy with each tree installation as they did it. They made sure I was pleased with everything before they left. The area was as clean when they left as when they arrived. (This is a big deal because several contractors have left old water bottles and trash at our house before.) Albert called to ensure I was pleased with the work and is coming later today or tomorrow to install a timer for the water. I could not be more thrilled! The trees look gorgeous, and the surrounding area is tidy and well-manicured. We are already planning where we will put more trees next year. If you are at all considering investing in trees, you should take the drive out to see them. You will not be disappointed.

The gentleman we initially met at their yard gave a tour of all the trees in his golf cart, asked us several questions about what we were replacing, and what we thought we would like to replace it with. He stopped frequently to identify the different trees, provide all the pros and cons of each variety, whether they were particularly suitable for where we live, etc. We didn't feel rushed, he was exceptionally pleasant, and was happy to answer all our questions. When we decided what type of tree we wanted, we were handed a flag, picked out the exact tree we liked best, and they delivered it in a matter of days. Their crew was friendly and efficient, and for a reasonable fee, cut down and removed the dead tree. They were finished in no time, and left the yard looking better than when they arrived. They only asked for payment when the old tree was gone, the new tree was planted, staked, watered, and we were 100% satisfied with their work. I really didn't think this level of customer service existed anymore. Go see them. You won't regret it.

My wife and I got a few items from this place that has a great selection, commenting on how we'd normally gone to Rainbow down the road a little closer to our home but we'd just found out about this place. If any of you are reading this (owners/son in particular) and you happen to look up Spiritual Devil as a channel name on Y tube you will find me and my crazy posts about my adventures from home all the way down US385 (to Big Bend National Park) and beyond. My current journey has led me to communicate with many people recently only to find that we are all concerned with the environment and the future in general when it comes to what it costs overall to grow something from start to finish. The monetary is not the focus when we really start to think on things, the added value for one another is what seems to shine through. Very disappointing experience with Bard Craft Designs…read more We brought in a single hat for a simple embroidery job and provided the embroidery file ourselves. From the beginning, the interaction was unpleasant. The staff came across as rude, dismissive, and generally uninterested in helping us. Looking back, my wife should have walked out then and found somewhere else. We also were not given a price when we dropped the hat off. That's partly on us for not insisting on one, but for a straightforward single-hat embroidery job, we didn't expect anything unreasonable. About a week later, we were told the hat was finished. The turnaround time itself was fine. The finished product, however, was not. The embroidery was ridiculously small for the hat. It was so obviously undersized that I would have expected an embroidery shop to stop and ask, "Is this really the size you want?" before stitching it. Instead, it was apparently just run as-is. Then we were charged $35 for the embroidery. For $35 on a single hat, I expect some level of professional judgment and customer service--not simply putting an obviously undersized design on the hat and handing it back. Combined with how rude and dismissive the staff were both times we dealt with them, the whole experience left a very bad impression. We won't be returning, and based on our experience, I can't recommend them.
