Recently had my daughter's sweet 16 here…read more I would give them 4.5 stars because so much was awesome and went right!! Very beautiful venue. They even gave me a discount which I'm truly grateful for. Claire our coordinator was very kind and helpful. During planning process we emailed many times. Then Christina( her manager) would take over. Christina was nice but I got a vibe she knew best. Felt rushed at times and communication felt insincere. I understand the time line was a quick one so that's not their issue. I knew they wanted to help. The food was delicious including the desserts!! We tasted the whole menu at the Granda a month prior. The food is excellent!! The decorations were completed by Luxe. Savannah who was very patient and met with my daughter and I twice to review. Quite pricey. Table centerpieces beautiful. Stairway was pretty. All decorations beautiful. The seating chart was done last minute and Christina did a wonderful job! I really appreciate Leal helping with last minute DJ and allowing an outside karaoke last minute. They did not need to do that, and they did! As far as the night of party lighting not so great. It was like a spotlight was on you. I had asked and a few others had asked about lighting. My daughter's theme was Midnight Enchanted garden. Way too bright. Willow heights allowed balloon company to come in early to help with balloon ceiling which was a super plus! I had hoped for a coffee station. Even though it was shared it would be there it was forgotten. S'mores area was darling but maybe a few low seats would have helped so kids could sit around fire pit. Dj Darren was great however I had hoped for him to help get the teens to dance. Maybe a dance off? My daughter hoped for that also. He had added some personalized touches which everyone greatly enjoyed. The staff was kind and helpful. This is not leals issue but it may have helped for coordinator to recommend photos outside with tea lights and fountain during night hours. I didn't think to ask photographer and photographer left before I could ask. I emailed a few times after event and no one responded. Would help to send out an after event review form. With that said I would book again. I'll just be more in advance and I'll be strict with asks.

*Review based on touring and menu tasting experience*…read moreSpoiler: we ended up choosing them, and will update with new review after our wedding. Reaching out and making a reservation for touring was very easy as they are well-organized. They're an "all-inclusive" venue in terms of having a in-house coordinator/decorator/DJ/catering, ec. We do have an option of hiring outside vendors (except for decoration), but there are surcharges. They also have a site for planning that makes it easy for us to stay organized and communicate. I like that the wedding coordinator/specialist (Christina) went through the cost/packages detail with us at the end of the tour. She also showed us a portfolio of the decoration (which, I thought was important since there's no flexibility there). I had several worries/concerns, but Christina was able to address all of them. Most importantly, we were allowed to have a menu tasting prior to signing the contract with them. The menu tasting event was great! I liked the overall experience and ambiance they created for the event. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a glass of champagne. In addition to the food, they had sample decor set up throughout the venue + table cloths on a rack for us to look through + live music. Also, it had an intimate vibe, yet it did not feel cramped at all. Each couple had their own table, which was great for privacy while we discuss about/ rate the food options. They've (decorators + wedding coordinators/Christina) also constantly checked in on us during the event to help answer any question that came up during the tasting. Just FYI for future couples, there is a loooot of food at the tasting. You will feel bloated. Be prepared to sample a variety of food. It felt as if I went to a buffet by the end of the night. Overall, they left a positive impression on us, so we decided to sign. I'm happy to say the quality of communication has not dropped since then.

This place is a true community center, run completely by volunteers. You can also rent the hall for private events. Heidi is amazingly helpful and so kind to work with. The best venue I've EVER worked with. Conversations started in Oct/Nov for our baby shower in June…read more Quick, prompt and reliable replies with every question answered. Heidi was a joy to work with and I feel we've been become friends through working together. =) Our Baby Shower was on a Sunday, and since there was no events the Saturday before she let us in that event to set up. I can not tell you how much stress that took off our shoulders. We were able to take our time and not worry about it the morning off. Since my family is from out of town and we live in Gilroy, this really helped with the unloading and just overall timing of getting ready that day. PROS: - Food separate from party: My dad and uncle cooked using our own BBQ's behind the grange. We did buffet style tacos in the kitchen. I liked that this was separate was the party and it gave us more room for seating. - Tables and Chair included: The venue has plenty of rectangle tables and the comfortable plastic chairs (not the metal chairs). - Side room: perfect for kids! I made custom coloring pages and put some toys in there. There were a lot of kids there but I hardly saw any of them because this room kept them occupied. - Frig: to keep cake and fruit chilled - Restrooms: plenty, never any wait time. - Cleanliness: the place was spotless when we arrived, very pleased with the cleanliness. - Parking: on site for the event, and plenty around. - drinks: with the one day event insurance we were able to bring in our own beer and wine. No bar staff needed. CONS: - seats per table: the chairs and comfy because they are wider, but this means we were only able to fit 3 next to each other per side. This made my count of table/chairs/centerpieces off a bit as I planned 4 chairs per side per table. Not a big a deal in the end but something to think about if your tables plan to touch like ours. -No A/C: we got lucky and it wasn't as hot as I thought it was going to be and there are fans on the ceiling and some floor fans. But as the girl of the hour running around I was so sweaty (probably cuz I'm also 31 weeks preg) but at least the guests were comfortable. I made paper fans for guest to use just in case. Overall, we will definitely be using this venue again!
