The hygienist I saw was Natasha and not only was she super sweet and kind, she was full of helpful suggestions such as how to floss properly (she demonstrated it while I held a mirror so I could see). The dentist I saw is Dr. Shivji (junior). You can tell that he is confident in what he does and has great knowledge. Not only is her super personable but he is honest- he will not recommend getting things done that you don't really need just to make more money for the business (as I have experienced at other dental offices in the past). I get anxious about feeling anything when getting fillings and he was very gentle and reassuring, always checking to make sure I was doing ok. I trust him to give me good dental advice. My previous dentist was knowledgeable and encouraged me to keep my teeth healthy, but had a way of being really nice about it and never made me feel terrible. Even when I showed hesitation in getting my wisdom tooth extracted (I was clearly nervous) and asked her what my options were, she very plainly said, "you can do nothing or get it removed!". Like I know that Sherlock; I was looking for more information and reasoning. One of the worst dentists I've encountered and lacks experience in patient care and bedside manner. I'm not very sure if there's any price difference though, but Dr.Tammy has been professional and very attentive. Also she speaks good command of English, so when I have questions she's always willing to answer. I get always get scared at dental visits, but she said to tell her if something is hurting/ uncomfortable. I felt hurt when I open my mouth for too long; she even massaged my joint that made me feel better. Even her staffs are attentive and helpful too. Plus this clinic isn't too far from home.

I had concerns regarding my wisdom tooth and was seeking a brief consultation with the doctor, but the receptionist was unaccommodating, suggesting I book an appointment instead. Upon calling back to ask a question, I was informed that the doctor recommended I visit a specialist, which was not relevant to my concern about my wisdom tooth. I was extremely disappointed by the receptionist's behavior, which was a stark contrast to the helpful and compassionate service I received the previous day. As a paying patient, I expect a certain level of professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, my experience was subpar, and I would not recommend this dental clinic to anyone in Canada.
