Parking is a breeze, I was initially worried the strip mall style parking would be a hassle. The studio is a bit tough to find your first visit though, it's on an alleyway between strip mall style businesses. I'll be back soon!

But the exercise equipment (which I pass by on the way to the pool) is comprehensive. A tell-tale sign: there aren't a bunch of "out of order" signs like there are at other gyms I've been to in the past. The last fitness center I joined was Anytime Fitness. Because you never had to have any contact with the employees. My previous experiences had all been at places where all employees talked about was upselling you. And if you weren't upbuying, they wouldn't give you the time of day. This LA Fitness center is as customer-friendly as any business (not just gym) I've ever been to. Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more My experience with Workout Anytime left me very disappointed, primarily because of how difficult it was to cancel my membership. When I originally signed up, I made it clear that I did not want to be locked into a contract. I was told I could pay through my bank account and cancel my membership whenever I chose. Based on that understanding, I enrolled. Recently, I received a call informing me that I owed $68 because my account was past due. Since I hadn't used the gym in well over a year, I told them I wanted to cancel my membership. To my surprise, I was informed that I was required to provide a 30-day notice and would still be charged for two additional billing cycles. I then went to the gym in person, expecting the cancellation process to be straightforward. Instead, I was told they could not cancel my membership at the front desk. Even though I was standing there requesting cancellation, I was instructed to either submit a written request or create an online account and complete the cancellation myself. It was frustrating to be told that my in-person request wasn't sufficient. I also requested a copy of my membership agreement and noticed that my name was not even spelled correctly on the contract. What disappointed me most was the overall customer service. After being a paying member for several years--even though I hadn't used the facility for quite some time--I expected a simple, professional cancellation process. Instead, I felt like unnecessary obstacles were placed in my way. During my visit, I expressed my frustration with the situation, but I remained respectful. I did not yell, threaten anyone, or use profanity. Despite that, I later received an email from the owner warning that law enforcement would be contacted if there were any further issues. I found that response unnecessary and disappointing. This review reflects my personal experience. I encourage anyone considering a membership to carefully review the cancellation policy before signing up and to fully understand the billing terms. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Workout Anytime and will be taking my business

I tried to cancel after checking out a 28 day trial (I kept going for a month after because 28 days wasn't enough for me to be sure). With my crazy schedule, I was barely getting there once a week due to the time frames of the classes. I always had to go to PF anyway so I tried to cancel. Intead of advising how to cancel they tried to talk me into staying and charged me another $40 week rate AND some BS "annual fee" of $40 that next week. So instead of canceling cause I NEVER got to go, they got me for $80 more. I requested some back and was told I didnt send the email in time. Butttt she never communicated that when I was asking to cancel- just kept seeing if I would stay. The workouts were fine, nothing better than Ive done at Body Precepts or local fitbash, or HIT events. There word choice for motivation is lacking as well. Instead of "u got this, I see u showing up and putting in work" type sayings it was more "do better this round, dont slack on urself" - which isnt a big deal- but just different from other classes I've taken so keep that in mind too if u try em out. This was the St johns bluff location.
