Was told about Burlington Wine & Spirits from a friend who informed me they have a superior selection of bourbon, scotch, tequila, and rums! Been going there for a couple years now and absolutely love this store and the employees. Khemarith and his employees always take the time to answer any questions and he is also very informative on their store barrel picks which I have tried several of and they have all been fantastic! The raffle system is a great way to generate interest in the barrel pick program. He also was able to order a special liqueur that is only available on the West Coast (Damiana liqueur). I had asked Khemarith if he could get it.... They called me the next week to let me know they had the bottle that I had inquired about! Excellent customer service. This is one of the best liquor stores in eastern MA. Selection is fantastic and the family that runs it is super nice. And if you like whiskey, you are in for a treat because the selection is beyond fantastic and they are constantly getting in new rarities and store picks. And rather than price gouge with allocated stuff, they run a raffle twice a year for the right to buy them at perfectly reasonable prices. Did I mention that they're super nice? Super friendly and helpful staff (Khemara and Khemarith are terrific) and very competitive prices. Very large selection in almost every category (esp for whisky, rum, beer and specialty liqueurs for cocktails) and full of stuff Total Wine won't bother to carry. The parking lot is busy due to the traffic from Market Basket but you can always find a spot (and they do have dedicated short term spots). Their inventory is now searchable online. Always willing to try to track down hard to find bottles for special orders and are uncommonly generous with samples of their latest whisky and rums. Check out their private store picks - many of them are very good to exceptional and they don't over-price them. If you're one of their better customers you have a decent chance of being offered allocated bottles at standard retail prices a couple times per year. read more

This place is really well organized and has a great inventory. The variety of beer was impressive. The wines were also well laid out and very easy to find by type. I found some of my favorite brands of New York State wines at competitive prices (e.g., Bully Hill). Price-wise, I think you'd have to drive to New Hampshire to find significantly better deals. Stopped in here on my way to H-mart nearby. I came in looking for soju. They actually had a few different varieties. They carry an extensive variety of liquors, wines and beers at coparable prices to the stores in my area. The staff were really nice and quick to help. I lived out on the west coast for close to 15 years and while there are liquor stores, I would just buy beer or alcohol at the grocery store. Well I moved back to Massachusetts and I was quickly reminded that some of the super markets out here do not carry beer or liquor. So I'm glad that this place is close to my work and they carry almost everything you can think of to have an over 21 party. The employees are always very friendly and they like to make small talk when you're at the register. They also carry lottery tickets and one thing I absolutely appreciate is that they always say "good luck" whenever I purchase scratchers or Mega Millions or Powerball. If you're coming here to buy beer then you'll be pretty happy with their selection and their prices. So if you're shopping in the area during the holidays then why not stop here for that special bottle of wine or champagne. read more

Unbelievable selection of beer - probably the best representation of imports I've seen in the Boston area, but also a jaw-droppingly comprehensive range of options for domestic craft breweries, including things I've rarely, if ever seen in Massachusetts. Logsdon and Cascade in particular - makes me miss Oregon in the best possible way. I didn't even peruse the wine and liquor to any level, but they seem similarly well-curated (Armenian and Alsatian sections!). Surprisingly robust and deep selection of craft beers (esp. for a strip mall based store), wide ranging and fairly priced.... And on the other side of the ledger, cheap ass 40s! Perhaps not really an option for a quick run to the packie, since it's in the nightmarish purgatorial parking lot/demolition derby of the Middlesex Shopping Center (which has gotten a kabillion times worse since all the new stores and restaurants opened up in the wake of the rebuilt Market Basket), but combined with a trip to MB, it's worth a stop. read more

Store has a great selection of craft beer and liquor. (I can't speak for wine selection although it looks pretty extensive) Their prices are pretty good for the area and staff is very friendly. I special ordered a scotch from the owner and he was very friendly and made the process easy. This business took their time building the store and getting it ready to open, so naturally I had noticed it early and was excited to try it out. When it opened, I noticed the following right away: A huge selection (of beer, liquor, wine, cider, and sake), and good prices. Well it's close to where I'm living so I started going more often. The staff is very fun to interact with and talk to, and they're always taking suggestions. After a few months of shopping there I noticed some prices going down. My favorite cider went down almost a dollar per 22oz bottle. They started carrying a cheaper Kahlua alternative (a must for White Russians on a budget). So one of the best liquor stores in the area was is only getting better (especially when nearby Arlington hasn't been a "wet" town for that long). It also looks like they have more room for more stock & selection. I've been very impressed with this store's first few months... I hope they stick around for many, many, many more! Oh and they have $1 nips of... everything. Fun for when you want to try something new but don't want to buy a full 750ml just to do so. read more

Concerned with the product I purchased...I purchased a bourbon that I have had many times before (purchased at other stores). When I pour myself a drink the bourbon smelled cheap and the taste was akin to well liquor with a terrible burn! Maybe it was a bad batch... They've got the beer I like (a summer beer) available in the dead of winter, the wine guy was very helpful when I needed wine took with (since I don't drink the stuff) and the cashiers just couldn't be sweeter. Best Packie around hands down. The staff here, especially the owner, knows alot about all the different wines they carry. They do wine tastings 2-3 times a week, so I reccomend getting on their mailing list. The beer selection is greet, from 12's and 30's to craft micro brews. If you buy a case of wine you get 20%, which is unheard of. I used to go to Busa's and Menotamy in Arlington, but I make the 15 minute drive to Burlington just to get my wine, beer, and scotch here. Parking lot is huge, and most people don't know you can exit past The Chateau and skip all the traffic! read more

I recently bought an Ommegang Game of Thrones here and was charged $2.50 more than I had paid in another store. an extra $2.50 mark up on a $10 beer is outrageous and makes you wonder just how much they are doing this on every beer.
